This tea tastes very artificial. It's not bad when mixed with other teas.
A taste reminiscent of the carnival favorite with sweet caramel and fresh apple notes.

This tea tastes very artificial. It's not bad when mixed with other teas.
This smells absolutely amazing in the pouch, but tasted a bit thin to me on my first brewing. I'm going to try it with some honey next time.
It didn't seem to be very caramel or apple to me, but it was still good.
This is also an amazing tea!!! So happy with the flair!
One of my favorites. I'm glad this 'Christmas tea' is available all year. Sweet and fun.
It's super sweat! The smell is so strong, just opening it makes me feel like I'm drowning in candy, and drinking it is like having a hammer plunged to the brain. It's good, but maybe too good for me.
Yet I find myself back to it once in a while cause I crave that sensation omg what a roller coaster
This tea was very different but not in a bad way. I liked it a lot, it made me think of fall. I think it would be good with a little apple cider and some cinnamon, I definitely want to explore with this one some more. I brewed it per the instructions and added just a smidgen of coconut sugar
I typically like the black teas and I like the apple flavor that is produced in this tea but there is an overly sweet artificial after taste that I didn't care for.
I like this. It has a nice apple flavor with a hint of the candy.
It really tastes like a candy apple. It is great to have hot for the colder seasons.
This is my absolute favourite tea. I put a bit of sugar into it, but this is just amazing. It is sweet while maintaining the tea's bitterness (thus the sugar). I only got a sample but I will definitely be ordering more once I run out!
I will be ordering this in a larger size its so delicious
I know some people liked this tea, but I thought the maple candy flavor was a bit too strong. Even a small amount of sweetener greatly amplified the maple flavor and overwhelmed any hint of a tart apple.
Unlike some other reviewers, I did not pick up either a 'candy' flavor or an 'artificial' flavor in this tea, nor did I find it to be 'super sweet.' What I registered was apple and spice, perhaps especially cinnamon. I thought it had a very good flavor, was well-balanced, and had a nice smooth texture. As one reviewer mentioned bitterness, I'll add that to avoid the extraction of too many tannins, I recommend not brewing any of Adagio's flavored teas with water hotter than 200 degrees, then letting it steep for only 2-2.5 minutes (but of course I realize this is a matter of taste...some people love tannic tea).
This is an odd tea. I think it would be a great addition to blends, but on its own it mostly tastes of apple-flavored Jolly Ranchers. Not a bad taste, but a bit artificial.
I tried this tea as part of the Christmas sampler and loved it so much I had to order more! It's super sweet and tastes just like a candy apple! Perfect with a splash of cream, no extra sugar needed.
Sweet even without sugar, a perfect afternoon tea.
it tasted super fake to me, maybe I am just sensitive
Super sweet and uplifting. Tastes great hot or iced.
Love it! I combine with a caramel teabag just to accentuate that flavor. So good!
Not as overpoweringly sweet as some reviewers said. In fact, this tea benefits from a little longer steeping time, and is one of the few black teas I don't drink with milk.
I love this flavored tea and will drink it year round. It has a great darkness and fruity holiday-like spice to it.
I didn't think this tasted fake at all as some other reviewers have said. I like sweet blends with black tea and I found this a very appealing tea.
pleasant apple taste; reminds one of fall fairs and festivals
Wasn't really my cup of tea to be honest. It smelled like a fresh apple in the bag which was very nice but once it was in the cup it was kinda bitter? I don't really know. Once it was cool though it was pretty good but still I don't think I will be getting this tea again.
A very rich tea I did feel like I was drinking dessert and it doesn't need much added sugar though, but all around a very nice tea
only got a sample to try it, wish i had just gotten a full order. will be going back for more.
This was a super good tea. Added a little vanilla cinnamon stevia and steamed milk. Yummy!
Candy apple is a delicious tea to give you a boost - they weren't kidding when they said it contains a high level of caffeine! It's good as is, but I added a tiny bit of raw sugar and a splash of milk to make it even better. Also, the scent of this candy apple tea is amazing.
I found this one bitter and didn't enjoy it at all.
Delicious tea with all of the flavors of the spices.
Delicious and super festive! It truly does taste like a candy apple.
I liked the smell more than the flavor. It was good but I wouldn't get it again most likely.
This smells good, and it smells like I thought it would taste (almost ciderish), but it doesn't. I was rather disappointed in that, but I have tried a few blends that uses this and the blends seem to really bring out the flavors in this. So maybe this is better used for blends than alone.
The candy apple flavor itself was nice (if a little artificial) but I found the tea to be unpleasantly bitter. I did the minimum steeping time, though, so I'm not sure why? Anyway, nothing special.
Hmm! Perhaps I got an older batch with this appley teafellow. Methinks this fall-seasonal tea is better served by blending it with something else, e.g. a caramel, a nice mellow oolong, or even a chai. My sample has the *scent* of a toffee apple, albeit a slightly artificial one, yet as with many flavored ceylons, it seems to lack body/depth on its own. Beware the bitter-oversteeping monster, too.
This was alright, but I'm afraid I prefer caramel apples to candy ones. If you're used to the hard candy ones, this might be right up your alley.
I've seen others say this but it does have kind of an... artificial-y taste to it. Though it's pretty good if you put honey in it, and definitely something I'd drink during fall, it's not something I would actually order for myself (this was gifted to me as a sample).
Sweet and cinnamony, this blend is lovely on a cool fall morning.
This definitely smells like a candy apple (the caramel kind)! VERY strong smell when its dry, but once brewed it has a nice mild caramel apple aroma. Definitely a nice fall/halloween type tea! Would be fantastic on a cool crisp morning.
This tea has a warm wonderful scent that reminds me of homemade apple pie. I enjoyed this tea with a bit of milk and sugar.
I wasn't sure about this tea when I first opened the bag, but the aroma of the tea in the bag isn't quite the aroma of the brewed tea, and I preferred the latter. The brewed cup was less artificial, more mellow. The tea tastes more of caramel apple than candy apple. For me this won't be an everyday tea, but I can see myself craving it on a winter day.
This tea is extremely yummy! Just the right amount of sweetness!
Say what you will--I love this tea! Perfectly sweet, and fantastically balanced. It works very well to complement other teas, too. Candy Apple and Spiced Apple Chai are amazing! Add any caramel tea for a little boost, and you'll find that this tea is one you should keep in stock through autumn and winter.
It's like an apple explosion in your mouth. We definitely re-order this tea, and I have, several times. It's very good, and if you want to get your kids in to drinking tea, this will help.
Honestly though the smell is fabulous, it turned too bitter for me to enjoy it- I can see adding sweetener might help but I don't like adding anything to my teas.
This isn't anything like what I received in the Holiday Sampler. It's very sour compared to the soft caramel sweetness of the other one.
This was good, almost sickly sweet. It didn't taste as much like an apple as I was expecting it to.
This tea is one of my favorites. It is perfect for fall/Halloween, but is also tasty all year round. Highly recommend!
This tea is for someone but that person is not me. I enjoy flavored teas, but this blend tastes a bit too much of flavoring and not strongly enough of tea.
