Blackberry Customer Reviews

Ceylon black tea infused with sweetly tart berries. Floral-fruity and bakery aroma, like fresh berry scones.

★★★★☆

Has a good blackberry taste - nothing particularly special, but a decent tea.

★★★★☆

I tend to like the berry flavors. This was pretty good. Might order again but there may be many more to choose from.

★★★★☆

The blackberry in this tea is more of a smell than a taste. Compared to other flavored Adagio teas and even to their other berry-flavored teas, the blackberry flavor is pretty light. I'd like to try this with milk; I've got a feeling it would bring out the blackberry flavor by muting the tannins that a probably competing with it.

★★★★☆

I personally love the blackberry smell. It is very subtle though.

★★★★★

Delicious blackberry flavor! I like drinking mine with or without cream.

★★★★★

Love this tea -- so delicous! Very good hot and iced.

★★★★★

I recently bought a bunch of fruity black teas, and this one was my favorite! The smell is more powerful than the taste.

★★★★★

If I could give this tea blend 10 stars, I would. I am partial to berry flavored teas but the blackberry blend is my favorite. The fragrance and flavor is wonderful. I treat myself each afternoon to a pot of this tea and consider it a reward for a stressful day. I have this blend on auto ship and highly recommend it.

This tea is great! The blackberry flavor couldn't be better!

★★★★☆

Not too overpowering on the berry front; but just enough to make this a perfect tea for work.

★★★★★

Blackberry tea with sage leaves are a great combination. ! I will order this tea frequently.

Very tasty. I love the blackberry flavor, It reminds me of summer.

★★★★★

At first smell I thought it was a little cough-syrupy, but it doesn't taste like that at all. Fans of fruity flavours will like it a lot, just as I do!

It tastes great, tangy and refreshing, but I wouldn't say it tastes like blackberry. More like a generic fake berry flavor.

Really yummy iced tea. Add a little honey and it's just that much better. Delicious!

★★★★☆

Overall a good tea, though this and the blueberry tea can both have an overwhelming aroma.

★★★★★

Aromatic, pleasantly fruity in a way that works well with black tea. Lush flavor. A year-round favorite for me.

★★★★★

A good light fruity black tea, quite enjoyable with a scone for afternoon tea

★★★★☆

I made this a little weaker then I would have liked, but still enjoyed the fruity flavor.

★★★★☆

A bracing black tea with deep blackberry notes. I normally drink my tea plain, but a pinch of honey wouldn't go amiss in this tea.

★★★★☆

This tea is great just make sure not to leave it brewing to long otherwise it gets bitter

★★★☆☆

I have had blackberry tea before, which I had bought at my local New Age/Pagan store, and I really liked it. Your version is the first tea I've bought at Adagio that hasn't exceeded my previous source. That isn't to say it is bad, it isn't by any stretch. The flavor seems to be out of balance though. It reminded me more of bubble gum than anything else. I'm afraid I probably won't order the larger bag once I have used up the sample

★★★☆☆

Not as blackberry-ish as others I've had and tastes more like raspberries than blackberries ... probably because it has raspberries in it. Not terrible, just not as good as I expected, based on other review.

★★★★★

YUMMY! Just steep and enjoy wonderful blackberry tea!

★★★☆☆

This tea is very sweet and fruity. It has none of the tartness of a real blackberry, and is almost too sweet. It's possible that I got a little heavy-handed with the honey I used, but it almost tastes more like the tea itself is sweet. I think it would be better iced, but hot it's not my favorite.

Most people would enjoy this. I prepared this as instructed, but it was a little too strong for me. I think I just like the pure herbals better.

★★★☆☆

I thought this tea had a bitter taste to it. Watch your time on the steep, it has a strong flavor.

★★★★☆

Delicious berry flavor but not as fruity as I had hoped. Be sure not to over steep as it tends to get bitter and not extra fruit flaovr.

★★★☆☆

I was kind of disappointing in this tea. I love blackberries and expected to like this as much as I love the other fruit teas from adagio. However, this one was more artificial and floral tasting and it wasn't what I expected. It's okay, but I don't think I'll be reordering it.

★★★★★

I love fruit teas and this just adds to my list very flavorful and refreshing

★★★★★

I looove fruity teas but also dont want tea that's overwhelmingly sweet. This tea was perfect! I could totally taste the blackberry without feeling like I was drinking a juice instead of tea. I bet this would be amazing over ice as well. I like my tea strong, so you definitely wouldn't have to steep it for a full five minutes if you didn't want to.

This tea is delicious. Beautifully fragrant, darker yummy flavor. I love it both with milk and by itself. I got this one as a free taster, but I will definitely get it again!

★★★★☆

This tea was pretty good. The blackberry flavor tasted more like flavoring than actual fruit. It was good but would probably not buy a ton of it at once.

★★★★☆

This is a great fruit-flavored tea. Tastes great by itself and also blended with other teas.

★★★☆☆

Not bad. Has a bit of a 'cleaner' taste to me, but then again, I didn't put any cream or sugar with it. Overall, you can definitely tell it's blackberry.

★★★★★

Good flavor and makes very good iced tea. Blackberry is one of my favorites!

This tea is fantastic. It has a true blackberry flavor. Very good hot, but we prefer is served cold.

★★★★★

Smooth wonderful full flavor. A little milk and it's like a milkshake when iced.

★★★★☆

This tea makes a nice jam flavored tea when sugar is added. I prefer it iced.

★★★★★

Blackberry has a delicious full flavor. Love the blend of black tea with the blackberry flavor. It is the right amount of flavor.

★★★★★

It has great flavor. Will be getting this in the future.

good aroma and taste. I think it would make a nice iced tea

Blackberry flavor is definite, but not overwhelming. It does not taste like Lipton's blackberry tea. The flavor is much more natural. Even my aunt, who doesn't like flavored teas, likes this tea.

★★★☆☆

Very strong! Definitely heavy on the blackberry, but a decent black tea.

★★★★★

This tea is by far my favorite tea, daily drinker for me.

Love the smell and the taste of tthis tea has a nice blackberry flavor.

★★☆☆☆

This didn't taste like blackberries at all. It tasted like cough syrup, mixed with black tea.

I made this into an iced tea. It was fine but I found that I liked other flavors better.

Not a huge fan of flavored teas, but this one doesn't overdo it.
