Black Cherry Customer Reviews

Black tea with the playful tanginess of rose hips, and the deep cherry sweetness is kept in balance with a touch of juicy, grounding blackberry. Iced, it is refreshing and delightful. Served hot, with a splash of cream, it is decadent and dreamy.

The first one I didn't like at all from this site. It was like drinking a flower...Way too much perfume and tastes like perfume. Think more cherry blossom than cherry fruit which was what I was hoping. Both the hubby and I have agreed this one is not a keeper

★★☆☆☆

Was very bitter, even with lots of sugar. Tasted a little bit like cough syrup.

★★★★★

If you like a strongly flavored cherry black tea, this is for you.

★★★★☆

I mixed this with vanilla 50/50. I love cherry tea, it is overwelmed by the vanilla next brew will be with 75/25 vanillia. It needs 'something' but I don't have the skill needed to know what yet.

★★★☆☆

I love cherry everything but this tea left alot to be desired. The cherry flavor was weak and left an almost bitter hint. I think it distracted from the taste of the tea no added to it.

Tastes Like Cherry, because its inexpensive, it is nice to have around and mixes nicely with Rooibos Vanilla Chau

★★★☆☆

The smell is very strong and overpowering. The flavor seems very artificial. I wouldn't recommend this tea by itself, but it is okay in small amounts when blended with others.

★★★☆☆

Ok by itself. Not very strong. I love to mix my teas and it goes pretty good with vanilla or caramel

★★★★☆

This tea on it's own is a little strong, but we've been using it with ceylon sonata and blackberry to make the most delicious iced tea for the summer!

Got a sample size. Not really preferred, but may try what I have left over again.

★★★☆☆

It smelled off when I first got it, and the smell changed as I left the canister open. It smelled more like cherry then.

★★★★☆

Its not what I expected, it stinks of cough syrup, but thankfully does not taste like it! I would purchase again!

★★★★☆

Tasty, and sweet, but with a slight "artificial" taste. Worth blending with things, or drinking with cream.

★★★☆☆

Not all too great on its own but when combined with black teas it creates a nice, simple addition that makes it worth it.

★★★★☆

Very mild cherry taste. Tasted more like plain black tea but was good!

★★★☆☆

Cherry seemed a bit too artificial for me. It is definately sweet, so I have to brew it for a little less time than recommended.

★★★★★

I love this cherry tea. Black tea and the flavor of cherry mixed even better than I thought it would. Does not need any sweetner in my opinion, but a little natural sugar would be nice if you like sweetened tea. I like mixing cherry with the earl grey bravo, very yummy mix. I highly recommend this cherry tea.

★★★★★

Great flavor. I loved it. It would go great with the chocolate and the cream teas.

★★★☆☆

This flavor was a little to artifical for me. Maybe mixed with a creamier flavor would help tone it down.

★★★☆☆

well, i can't say i'm too terribly surprised that i didn't much care for this tea. i only ordered a sample but for me it just didn't hit the spot.

★★★★☆

very tasty. i really liked the sourness to this tea aswell. its also amazing iced!

★★★☆☆

This one is not my favorite. It is a bit too sweet for my taste

★★★☆☆

The black tea in this is a little bit too strong, giving the tea a slightly strange flavour which overrides the cherry. If the tea was dialed back just a tad, I think it would be awesome!

★☆☆☆☆

Tasted like Cherry Nyquil bleh. If you cut this tea with blackberry it tastes tolerable.

★★★★☆

tastes good, but doesn't necessarily take like cherry. i still recomend it.

★★★★☆

Amazing by itself but I personally blend it with my morning vanilla.

★★★★★

I was very surprised at how much I liked this flavor. I'm not a huge cherry person in general because they are a little tart for me. This tea, however, takes the great sweetness of a perfect cherry.

★☆☆☆☆

taste like medicine i wish i had read the review before ordering

★★☆☆☆

Had too much of a flowery aroma and taste for me. Tasted more like what I would expect Cherry Blossom to be, instead of actual Cherry.

★☆☆☆☆

this tasted very medicinal, too much effort to get it down, very very sweet.

★★☆☆☆

I was expecting a much less chemical taste to this than I got. VERY disappointed. :(

★★★★★

This tea had a clean fruity taste. I'm not sure I would say it tasted like cherries but definately fruity and delicious.

★★★★★

At first I didn't like this tea but then I realized I was overbrewing it. :) Once I got the brew time right and added a little sugar, I found this tea to be amazing. Some people might find the cherry flavor to be a little 'medicinal' but I didn't find this to be the case. I'll definitely order a bigger tin.

★★★★★

I really loved the sweet, slightly tart taste of this tea. It was a great variation from other flavor choices and I enjoyed adding it to other flavors for even more variety. I recommend giving it a try.

★★☆☆☆

I love everything cherry-flavored, so I was very excited to try this tea. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I don't like this one. It does not taste fruity to me; it tastes floral instead -- like cherry blossoms instead of the fruit. It's far too perfumey-tasting. I will not be reordering it.

★★☆☆☆

The kids liked this one, but I didn't. The smell is artificial, tastes a bit better than it smells, but to fakey for my taste and not real cherry.

★★★★★

This tea goes great mixed with almond and/or vanilla, with a splah of milk

★★★☆☆

This tea kind of reminded me of cherry cough syrup. I don't think I'll be trying it again.

★★★★☆

This tea is great when blended with smooth flavors such as vanilla or almond. The cherry on it's own is good, but a little too pungent for my taste.

★★★★☆

Serious bits of cherry in the tin make for a nice touch and adds some credence to the fact that there is cherry in it.

★★★★★

Cherry-flavored without being syrupy, and with a little bit of a spicy aftertaste. Yummy.

★★★★☆

I am a huge cherry fan. Adagio made a believer out of me!

★★☆☆☆

I thought I would like Cherry because I like the other berry flavors, but Cherry has a very sharp flavor that does not taste very good.

★★☆☆☆

As a cherry lover, I was very excited to try this tea, but I was very disappointed. It tastes like artificial flavoring to me. I was hoping for real cherry pieces and flavor.

★★★☆☆

Not as sweet as I thought, but still good with some sugar.

★★★★★

Bing cherry sweet with a fruity taste that is fruity and delightful!

★★★★☆

This flavor was good, but not good enough for me to reorder. It kind of reminded me of the medicine my mother gave me as a child.

★★★★★

A lovely, flavorful, not-too-sweet cherry. Great warm or iced.

★★★☆☆

This particular tea wasn't my favorite by far, however it wasn't terrible. It really could use more of a cherry flavor to help sweeten is a bit.

★★★★★

Very smooth and mild. The smell is stronger than the flavor, which suites me. Used just a pinch of sweetner. Will be using as a mid-day tea!
