I’m not an Earl Gray fan, so this is a mix I was wary to try… But I liked everything else in the mix, so I decided to give it a shot! I tried it hot with no additions - nope. Added a bit of honey while still hot - no again! So I let it cool and then moved to the fridge to await an iced tea. I added milk and while this was definitely the best version so far, it still had that twang of bergamot I just do not care for and I so did not drink it.
However if you do like Earl Gray, I think you are in for a treat! It wasn’t awful by any means, I just personally couldn’t get past the bergamot.
I gave this one 4 stars based on CT sample pack. Bergamot came through as extremely dominant with a hint of vanilla. Aroma was almost strictly bergamot. Second steep I added sweetener and the vanilla was more pronounced. I think I would like to try this in a bigger size to see if I can get a more accurate sample ingredient ratio as the idea of a caramel flavor sounded great yet never showed for me. 212° 3 min
It’s maybe a little unfair for me to review this one since I don’t like bergamot, but a few other reviews mentioned the bergamot was light. Alas, in this batch, it was not. This tastes like a slightly floral earl gray. I detect the notes of vanilla, but the caramel and pomegranate are overshadowed by bergamot. The cornflowers make for a pretty tea while steeping. Far too earl gray. If you also dislike earl gray, this probably isn’t the tea for you.
CommuniTEA sample: 3 min @ 212 F. I'm surprised by how much I like this one! I have found a lot of adagio's Earl greys to be a little bit too sweet and floral in aroma, and a little bit too bitter and dry in mouthfeel. Of course, this isn't a traditional Earl Grey, but I think that the added flavors, and the inclusion of oolong in the blend, make it much milder and more enjoyable! It definitely is floral and fruity, and it smells like a pastry to me! I like that as sweet and delicate as it smells, it isn't cloying or overwhelming in any kind of sugary sensation.
A STRONG tea. Wish I tried it in the afternoon vs the morning - needed some food with it. Great flavors though - BIG black and oolong tea base, great fruity character from the bergamot, rounded out by that caramel/vanilla character to not leave a bitter lingering tannin. A nice cup. Would try again (on a full stomach).
This is a nice mild Earl Grey. I’m not a fan of bergamot overpowering my cup of tea, and it does not in April in Paris even though it is still the predominant flavor. The overall result is a smooth and mellow cup.
I've been drinking a lot of earl grey lately and may have been subconsciously hoping for a brew with a similar flavor palate but somewhat gentler overall. This is definitely it. Bergamot aroma with silky smooth caramel and vanilla. This tea definitely makes me feel like I'm on a well-needed Parisian vacation!
An enjoyable cup with a Bergamot presence softened by a caramelly vanilla essence. Im not a huge fan of pomegranates but it works here. The dry tea is also a lovely presentation. This would have to be a morning tea, too much caffeine for late day consumption for me for sure. It sure is delicious.

One of my favorite morning teas. The brightness of the pomegranate and bergamot balances beautifully with the warmer notes of vanilla and caramel. A beautiful twist on a classic Earl Grey.
This is one I really enjoyed, I made it with steamed milk, and brown sugar. It was perfect, one of my new favorites.

This one grows on me the more times I’ve tried it. Something about the warm vanilla and the bright, fruity pomegranate paired with the Earl Grey-style bergamot… it’s just a really lovely and unique combination.

This tea is pretty good, I'm not sure I like the oolong and the black together, I feel sometimes the oolong gets a little bitter from the higher brewing temp. Smells great, tastes pretty good, I think it would be better as just a black tea or just an oolong tea.
This is definitely one of my favorite teas, it's everything I was hoping for. It's very comforting, and the citrusy and fruity tastes are mild, not over powering like I feared it would be. You can also taste the caramel very well. I added some of my favorite vanilla creamer with sugar and it definitely took it to the next level. Can't wait to try this as a london fog!
I don’t usually like chocolate flavors in tea but this was great. I added milk and sugar and loved it. Perfect breakfast tea
This is lovely! The floral taste is delicate and the added flavors avoid being cloying. A nice balanced cup without any bitterness, easy to drink and goes well with honey!
I liked this more than I thought I would. I'm not a huge fan of earl grey but the vanilla and caramel turn this into a smooth, mellow and mildly sweet tea for me.
This tea is aptly named. It has a fruity, spring flavor.
It's good, but it lacks identity, I think. If I had to describe it, I would say it's a tea that tries to manufacture the flavor of rose hips.ay e try the samples first to see if you like it.

This is not strong enough on the fruit or floral. It's not advertised as an Earl Grey, but the ingredients are reflective of an Earl Grey. But it's just lacking in any substance for me. It smells delicious, but I won't be purchasing this one again.

oho, i did love this one. the oolong is such an underutilized base for flavored teas and this blend really lets it shine. enjoy it black or with the tiniest bit of sugar and cream.
I wanted to like this tea because...Paris! But it is not my favorite. Added some rock sugar to take the edge off.

There’s something in here that I don’t like. Either Oolong or Bergamot because I know I like the rest. Incredibly astringent. It’s fine, I like the cute name. But I wouldn’t recommend this, nor would I repurchase.
This has become a favorite. There was a review stating that this is an afternoon drink, but I disagree. This is a wonderful morning tea. The tea is a delight! This tea is a continuous delight. It stands next to Earl Grey. I was on a cruise last week and had a cup of Earl Grey in a Bigelow tea bag. I used two tea bags and it was awful. Adagio Earl Grey, April in Paris and Apricot teas are the best! April In Paris remains one of my favorites. It has a unique aroma.

I was disappointed with this one. The base is a pretty bland black tea and I didn't taste the fruit flavor at all.

This tea is such a nice blend of flavors. It is light but still very flavorful. It's similar to standard 'Paris' tea.
