This tastes like amaretto liqueur! I'm not the biggest fan of amaretto, but this really grew on me. It does seem a bit lighter than other flavored teas, but I enjoyed mixing it with stronger teas like the tiger eye and cream.

★★★★★

Love this tea with a little cream it tastes like a yummy dessert.

★★★★★

Very tasty, good evening tea. A bit strong for the morning.

★★★★☆

I ordered this in teabag form. Unfortunately the teabags weren’t closed. They immediately sent me a replacement bag, thank goodness for great customer service.

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite teas. (Try it with an almond croissant. Heaven!) I think Adagio hit the nail on the head here. Just the right amount of almond, and a very 'clean' almond taste at that. Not artificial tasting or 'sticky' like it could have been. This is great as a breakfast tea or as an afternoon tea with a slightly sweet pastry. I brew for four and a half minutes.

This is a very good tea with good flavor. Perfect for winter!

I love Adagio's Hazelnut and Chestnut black teas. And, in general, I love almonds. However, for me, this tea is not pleasing. The bag of unbrewed tea leaves smells great. However, when brewed, I don't smell or taste 'almond'. I read someone else's review and they mentioned a 'cherry' taste and I get that, too. Maybe even a bit of black licorice or anisette. Regardless, if I blind tasted this, I would not guess 'almond'. It almost tastes like it has a liqueur in it. Not a fan, I will trash the remainder of the sample bag.

Pretty basic, but still great almond flavor. Great when mixed with Cream Tea.

★★★★★

So yummy! I love black tea and Adagio has great ones!

The almond tea blend has a very distinct sweet smell when steeping! As someone ho is rather skinny, I definitely felt the caffeine kicking in after a couple of minutes! Don't drink too many cups or it might give you a headache. This is a great tea to start the day or just for kick of energy!

★★★★☆

A very nice tea if you're looking to mix it with another. Good almond scent on the nose, nice - if light - almond flavor on the back. It's definitely not a strong almond flavor, but for those with a more refined tea pallet, you will enjoy this one. I STRONGLY recommend brewing this one at 190 rather than 195. I've brewed this tea for 5 minutes at 195, 4 1/2 minutes at 195, and 4 minutes at 190 and the flavor shines through a lot better when this tea is steeped at a slightly lower temp.

One of my favs. It's strong enough and tastes even better with a slash of milk. I love it!

★★★★★

By itself I would give this tea a 'medium' rating, but when mixed equally with hazelnut and chestnut teas, it is WONDERFUL. Last December a friend and I bought a pound of each and mixed them together. She gave it out as gifts and now her recipients are clamoring for more of the blend. We plan to do the same this year. (I kept my portion to drink all year and have just barely enough to last until December)

lovely to mix with other flavors, especially fruity ones, to add sweetness

The almond flavor is not overwhelming and compliments fruity black teas like raspberry beautifully.

★★★★★

Very delicious. Tastes like a sugar cookie. Highly recommend it.

★★★☆☆

not my favorite but definitely not bad. reminds me too much of arsenic though...jk

★★★★★

This tea has a great almond flavor that is natural and not overdone. Could very easily be mixed with others for a great combo.

★★★★☆

too much almond flavor, I prefer just a hint of almond

★★★★★

With a little honey and cream, this almond tea smells and tastes just like marzipan. Although it s a lovely standalone tea, I bet it would work in some delicious blends as well.

Wasn't bad, for some reason left me when a very sweet after taste. Using it with another tea might be nicer.

★★★★☆

I was not sure how I would like the flavor of this tea but I was pleasantly surprised.

★★★★☆

Great blend! I enjoyed the flavor and the quality!

★★★★★

a good simple black tea. I like to brew it strong and serve with creamer as a coffee substitute

This is a great tea. You can really taste the almond flavor. Yummy!

★★★★★

Fun nutty brew! I love the fresh taste of the tea with a nice almond finish.

★★★☆☆

The taste is good, but definitely not my favorite. I have to be in the mood for this tea.

★★★☆☆

This tea is just okay. The almond flavor tastes artificial to me. 212 is a bit much for it too.

I am not a big fan of flavored teas, favoring plain blacks, roasty oolongs and greens. However, this is very nice. The almond flavor is very much like an amaretto with little bitterness. I felt I had to explain to my boss that I was not spiking my tea as the aroma is strong.

The Ceylon tea base used is nice and balances well with the almond adding a tannin dryness that balances the smooth mouth feel of the almond flavoring.

I will likely buy this again.

Smelled fantastic, but struggled with the taste, not as nutty as I had hoped.

My family loves the almond tea. We drink it everyday.

Perfect tea and tastes like wedding cake. Still really light but full of flavor and not overwhelming.

The almond flavor is subtle; I have found that I use this most brewed with other tea flavors, especially vanilla. It is delitcate but adds a nice note (drunk with milk added).

★★★☆☆

It's pretty good black tea, but the Almond taste is really slight.

★★★★☆

The almond scent and flavor are strong and immediately noticible. It tasts a bit of artificial almond aroma, but not bad at all. I will mainly use this tea for mixing and will probably order it again.

Tastes like marzipan and I love marzipan! I like to mix this with other flavors too,

★★★★☆

Love this one, since I am a marzipan nut.
I usually drink it in the morning, when I cannot handle very intense flavors yet, but need something to lighten the mood :).

★★★★★

I love this flavor on it's own or blended with cherry.

★★★★☆

I liked this tea a lot but after drinking it regularly found it to be too oily. The flavor is excellent but I have now tired of it due to the oily excess. I would reorder this with some modifications.

It s not as strong as the almond oolong, though it smelled just as nice. However, the flavor was just too subtle for me--so much so that I actually forgot what I was drinking at a point. Hopefully it grows on me, because the smell was really really nice!

★★★★★

This is a wonderful tea and one of my very favorites. I love the almond smell and taste.

★★★☆☆

The first time I tried this, I was iffy. But I kept drinking it, and it kind of grew on me. I don't think it's for everyone, but if you get it and aren't sure, give it a few tries.

★★★★★

Oh my stars, I LOVE this tea! The smell and the taste are so satisfying!

★★★★★

A rich and delicious tea. I look forward to it first thing in the morning.

★★★★☆

Great smell in the bag, but this does not have a strong 'almond' flavor once brewed. It is a smooth tea though and enjoyable enough.

It was an okay cup to sip... however, I hate to say it, but every so often the aroma reminds me the slightest bit of cough syrup...

Almond was too delicate and didn't really come through when brewed. Smelled great in bag though.
