This tea is incredible. My mom loves it as well and it's the perfect cup of tea for before bed! It's for the non-herbal drinker who doesn't like chamomile, that's for sure! I'm definitely stocking up on this one!

Decaf teas tend to lose their tea flavor and this is no exception. The vanilla is strong, but artificial tasting.
As a tea lover of long standing, this has got to be the very best decaf flavored black tea around!! I am so glad I waited for this one to be back in stock and then order. It is so pleasantly vanilla, without being overpowering, 1 tsp per cup water, steeped 5 min. Good hot or cold, with just a scant tsp of sugar to sweeten slightly, to fully enhance the flavor. WONDERFUL!
Haven't had this tea in awhile. The latest order not as flavorful. I was a bit disappointed. I will drink at night because caffeine keeps me awake but I was a little sad not what I remembered from past orders.

I often use this to mix into other flavored black teas to off set the high caffeine content in black teas. I don't find the vanilla flavoring overpowering. Smells delightful, and I appreciate that Adagio has several decaffeinated black tea options, as many other vendors are very lacking in that department.

This is one of my favorite teas...just not by itself. It is a very strong vanilla, so I think it is best in a mix. I love to add it to just about anything, especially the decaf chai and the peppermint.
The aroma is sweet - it smells like a freshly cut vanilla bean pod. It has a very rich vanilla flavor and is smooth. This will be my go-to night tea since its decaf. This is a delicious dessert tea! I plan to try it iced too.

Best vanilla decaf I have ever had. Rooibos vanilla has stronger vanilla flavoring, but the rooibos just does not pair as well with it to me.

Pretty standard vanilla tea, good amount of vanilla flavor and it's very tasty with a small hit of cream or milk.
This was pretty good. I had received the caffeinated version as a free sample, and surprisingly, I found that this decaf vanilla had more of a vanilla taste to it then the caffeinated. It's not a strong flavor of vanilla, but it's definitely there, and at the least, the tea is sweetened by it. The rooibos vanilla still has the most vanilla taste, but then you don't have as much of a tea taste. I have to think about whether I'm going to order more of this.
Since I can't tolerate too much caffeine, I drink decaf later in the day. Most decaf taste weak and flat. So I drink more flavored decafs than plain ones. For flavored decafs, Adagio sells the best I have found. The base tea is not bad for a decaf and it has mild vanilla flavor. Not as good as some of the other Adagio decafs.
This tea is seriously vanilla...so strong it leaves no room for doubt. As an addition to other blends, I think it would work as a creamy, sweet undertone. But on its own, the vanilla flavoring is a bit strong for my taste. The best time to indulge in this tea would be when you have had a really bad day and are desperately craving a vanilla cupcake (something that I really don't get cravings for).
I am not a big fan of flavored teas, but this is the one I have been looking for. Real vanilla flavor enhances the tea without overpowering it. This is our go to after dinner tea.

This is a very yummy, simple tea with a pleasant, lingering vanilla flavor. It practically turns into dessert with cream and sugar, and despite lengthy accidental over-steepings, it stays mellow.

Decaf Vanilla is so confusing to me because I haven't been a fan of Adagio's vanilla flavors on their own. I rate this as good and my fiance says it's great, so I just bought him 3oz for his birthday. It tastes artificial but not in a bad way. It's really good on it's own. For a nice mix-up, I like adding decaf vanilla and decaf raspberry together.
Oooh. This one is delicious. It's more of an artificial taste but it's really good at the same time.
