The strawberry taste isn't as strong as I expected based on other reviews, but that isn't a bad thing. The flavor is just enough to bring out the taste of the tea
Edit: it's been a little while since I've steeped this one, and I don't know what happened while I was away. Now when I steep it, it gets really bitter, even when the water is below boiling. It's still alright with a little milk or sugar, but it's not as good as it was before
I love a nice cup of tea in the evening and this is perfect. Hints of strawberry and sweet berry taste with no caffeine so I still get a good rest. Perfect for a nice refreshing cup of iced tea too.
Nothing special, Very slight strawberry flavor but basically just tastes like a plain tea. Decaf is nice for afternoons/evenings

This is a wonderful cup of tea. It is a much lighter drink than the regular strawberry tea. Not too strong or astringent, but you can really taste the strawberry in it.
Though you can smell the strawberry flavoring, it doesn't translate into the taste of the tea.

I just ordered my second large bag of Decaf Strawberry and I'm sure it won't be my last. I'm a big fan of pretty much anything strawberry flavored, and this tea is no exception. It has a sweet, light strawberry aroma and flavor that is delicious with cream and just a touch of sweetener. This is my favorite tea to settle down with in the evenings with a good book.
Update--We bought a 16 oz bag of this tea to make iced tea for the summer and it is perfect for iced tea. I made it as cold brew and it is quite refreshing.
This tea had a mild strawberry flavor. It was better with sweetener. I enjoy having decaf tea in the house to drink in the evenings.

I was gifted some strawberry black tea (not from adagio) a while back and fell in love with it, but I wanted a decaf equivalent to drink at night. This is exactly what I wanted. I will probably also buy the caffeinated version from adagio in the future.
Have you ever had a dark chocolate bar with dried strawberries in it? This is sort of like the drink equivalent to that (though less intense). It's lovely.

Very fresh scent of strawberry. However, the scent seems too strong and it covers the original taste of the tea.
This has become a favorite of my daughter s. She loves this on its own, mixed with wild strawberry, and mixed with chamomile. The strawberry taste is true and leaves a nice lingering finish on the tongue. The tea itself is a nice foil for the strawberry flavor. Just a great cuppa!
Smells amazingly like strawberries out of the bag, but that flavor is quite subtle in the cup. As a strawberry addict, I was hoping for a stronger strawberry flavor. It's a good decaf, it's just not a 'pow' strawberry flavor.

I didn't even try this alone. I bought it to make a less expensive version of Libra tea, which is my favorite and not even available now. I'm sensitive to caffeine so I mixed 3oz each of strawberry decaf, vanilla decaf and chocolate tea (not available in decaf.) I smells and tastes DIVINE. I'm thrilled with my Libra mix. I figure I'm getting about 20 mg of caffeine per cup as compared to 60 or so with the regular Libra tea. That means I can have more cups of DELICIOUS tea.
I was surprised at how much strawberry flavor they could get in there without any strawberry pieces. I drink it warm with milk and sugar.

The latest shipment of decaf Strawberry does not taste like the original order from a year ago; perhaps vendors have changed? The 3 oz. order from a year ago tasted like real dried strawberries - fantastic. The current order, which was a pound, tastes more like strawberry scented candles. Too artificial/chemical, and not that appealing to drink. Disappointing in that i really enjoyed that dried natural fruit hint in the older order.
This decaf tea has a nice strawberry scent and tasts remotely of strawberry. It s good, but won t become one of my favorites.
There are better flavors from this website. It was good, I just have high expectations now.
