Decaf Raspberry Customer Reviews

Rich decaf black tea with playful raspberry. Candy-like aroma, jammy flavor, tangy dry finish, not too 'cheeky.'

This one smelled delicious in the bag, but lost a lot of that fragrance when brewed up. The result is still pretty good, with a hint of raspberry tartness, but definitely not quite as raspberry as I hoped. Overall solid, but not amazing.

I don't care much for raspberry or the tea. But due to there is not much to pick for in the decaf selection I have keep it around for my bedtime night cap tea.

I've drunken this iced a few times, the raspeberry is a nice flavor that you can clearly taste.

I really enjoyed the raspberry flavor. It wasn't too light, but wasn't overpowering either. I drank it with a touch of honey and really enjoyed it.

I adore this tea! The raspberry flavor is wonderful and the decaf ceylon is just rich enough that this tea, with a little milk and honey, is a great craving killer! I often drink it in place of eating a chocolate bar.

Has a nice raspberry flavor, but suffers a little from the decaf process, I think. Not one of my favorites.

Very much a raspberry tea, with a bit of sugar it's a perfect treat.

great fruity flavor, maybe a bit on the sour side, but with a little sugar it's excellent both hot and iced

The raspberry flavor in this tea can be very pronounced. Sometimes a bit too much. But when I'm in the mood for something with a bit more intensity I really do enjoy drinking this.

posting on behalf of my mom, to whom i gifted this tea: sweet but not too sweet, reminiscent of those gummy raspberry candies, would be good iced.

I had gotten the berry sampler and of all of them I had liked the raspberry one the most. I got this so that I wouldn't have to stop drinking my raspberry tea for fear of staying up all night. This tea tastes exactly like the caffeinated version which means it is delicious.

Absolutely marvelous when I want something sweet and it's too late for anything with caffeine or sugar. Just a splash of soy cream and it's a lovely treat.

This is on my favorites/frequent order list. I love the true fruity taste and the way the raspberry and black tea complement each other.

Nice enough on its own, but especially good when mixed with other fruity flavors. I tried it half and half with Decaf Vanilla and it was quite lovely.

When I'm in the mood for a flavored tea, the brightness of the raspberry is always a winner. I wasn't sure I'd like this at first, but it is surprisingly refreshing.

Got this as a gift for my mom and she loved it. Said it was (along with some other decaf flavored Adagio teas) the best tea she's ever had. Teas make such great gifts. I also gave her the ingenuiTEA to make it. Since this is her first experience with loose leaf teas, that really simplified the process for her.

At first I thought I wasn't going to like this tea, because the smell is really off-putting--overly sweet and kind of medicinal. It smells this way both when it's in the bag, and when it's been brewed. But the taste is very different. It tastes lovely, with a really herbal aftertaste

It is like smelling fresh raspberries in your tea without the seeds.

The smell of the tea was amazing but the tea itself needed a bit of sugar or agave nectar. It was just alright on it's own. Very good before bed, though! As much as I love raspberry I don't think I will be buying this again unless I'm really in the mood for raspberry tea.

This makes a really good iced tea. It has a nice tart/punchy berry flavor to it, although perhaps not immediately distinctive as raspberry. I added a little sugar to even out the tartness a bit. I didn't like it quite as much as the peach, which is my favorite so far, but the raspberry is still really good. After some experimentation, I discovered it mixes pretty well with the peach, as long as you don't add too much of it, because it will take over the peach taste almost completely.

I like this tea blended, I find it a little too raspberry-y on it's own... nice with chocolate, cream or irish breakfast.

I usually dislike flavored teas. You can truly taste the raspberry, but wait... I loved it.

The decaf is a special plus because I drink so much tea that overcaffeinating is a serious risk XD

Too sour for my liking. I know many fruit flavored teas can be sour, but this one is too much

★★★★★

This is a really nice fruity flavored tea. I find it hard to find really good flavored decaf teas, and this one is excellent. I like it the best of all of the berry flavored teas I have tried.

Smells stronger than it tastes. Next time I might add more than a teaspoon of tea per cup. It is nicely fruity, though, and it's great if you're sensitive to caffeine.

This is a charmingly simple flavor, and an excellent blending ingredient. I'm not sure I'd be able to identify that the berry-ness was raspberry in particular, but it *is* very good, and I'd get it again.

I've tried this tea in both hot and iced preparations and couldn't be happier with it. The last bagged tea I ever tried was a black (non-decaf) with raspberry. Other than a slight bitterness, I thought it was great. Then I tried Adagio's version. I'm never going back to that other stuff! It's just sweet enough that I'll never need sugar. The 3 ounce bag I ordered will not last me very long, I'm afraid

I just brewed this for the first time. It smelled strong so I mixed it with a little vanilla and chocolate. It was so strongly raspberry, I had to throw it out. To me it tastes very strongly of raspberry flavoring, which is I guess 'natural', but as we all should know there is nothing natural about 'natural' flavors. I hope Adagio reads these reviews. Raspberry tea could be good, but this is not it.

I'm not a big raspberry fan, but I thought I'd give this one a try for blending. Even using about one part raspberry to five parts decaf ceylon, the raspberry was still quite strong. So if you're using it for blending, use it sparingly.
