Definite chai flavor without the caffeine! Nothing overpowering in this blend.

★★★★★

I think this is my favorite Chai at the moment and absolutely the best chai I have tried in a long time. I adore that it is decaffeinated. I have this every night and I look forward to this all day. The tewa is spicy without being overly spiced, and also not too weak on the spice. Some Chai's are barely spicy and other are like a punch in the face. I feel this one is just right!

This was exactly what I was looking for in a decaf chai, neither weak despite the decaffeination nor overpowered by the spices. Cardamom-y!

★★★★★

So awesome. AND it's decaf. The decaf chai has the same wonderful spiciness as the caffeinated chai. love love love this chai. It will always be one of my favorites.

★★★★★

We use this as a night-time tea. We love chai but caffeine is not your friend when it is bedtime.

★★★★☆

Not as good as the regular masala chai, but for a decaf option it s great.

This tea is nice and spicy and goes great blended with decaf vanilla.

★★★★★

I'm avoiding caffeine lately (along with quite a few herbs due to pregnancy) and was pleasantly surprised by how deliciously spicy this decaf chai is! I love it!

★★★★★

Love adagio chai, and have e recently switched to decaf. This is just as wonderful, spicy and warming as it s twin!

★★★★★

I am not generally a chai lover, but I really like this one as iced tea.

★★★★★

A tasty typical chai, but I definitely prefer the super spicy Masala Chai to this one.

Really nice spicy chai, lots of flavor! Strong enough to handle adding milk/sugar to taste, or good straight.

★★★★☆

Very flavorful. I found the clove a little overpowering, but it mellowed a little with the addition of milk.

I enjoy the spice much more than I thought. Milk combine with this tea make a unique cup

This is outstanding. I have to occasionally cut back on caffeine for a few months at a time, and it is hard to find good decaf teas to get me through. This is a new favorite.

★★★★★

Great afternoon treat that doesn't impact my nighty-night. Flavor is spicy but mellow.

SO GOOD
A good Masala Chai is hard to find in decaf; many seem to think that they need to turn down the spices when they turn down the 'feine. Happy to say that this tastes EXACTLY like the Masala Chai from Adagio. Perfect with my bedtime snack :)

★★★★★

Perfect for an evening cup of chai. All the classic chai flavor in a decaf version!

★★★★★

Best decaf favorite!!! Great for a relaxing evening.

★★★☆☆

This tea was acceptable, but not great. The recommended amount for brewing is one teaspoon, and this small amount makes for a weak tea as the blend is largely spices and little tea. The imbalance is evident in the aroma of the dry leaves which smells heavily of clove rather than a balanced blend of spices. Because the tea is weak to begin with, it does not re-steep well.

A great tea. The spiciest and most flavorful of all the Adagio chai teas

★★★★★

Tastes pretty much like the caffeinated Cha. Maybe just a tiny bit weaker, which is fine for a cup late at night.

Tastes great! Not the same taste as the masala chai, but is good if you want it as a night-time beverage. I like it best steeped in milk the traditional way:)

★★★★☆

Tasty. Subtle flavoring. Relaxing in it's own way.

★★★★☆

A strong chai, warming and sweet. Very spicy if you reuse the leaves for a second time.

★★★★☆

Think overall I prefer the rooibos vanilla chai for a noncaffienated version.

★★★☆☆

There are a lot of cloves in this blend, not my favorite. I also prefer a blend with black peppercorns to give it a little bite. Still nice to have a decaf option!

Great chai tea. I love to drink this tea with a little cream and sugar.

★★★★★

Nice nighttime or late afternoon substitute for the Masala Chai

An amazing surprise! I have always felt that caffeine-free black teas lacked the robust flavor of the actual teas. This chai is extremely flavorful and can be served anytime of the day or night.

★★★★★

I love the masala chai and this is very similar, but nice to have a decaf version for late in the day!

★★★☆☆

It's alright. There isn't much flavor to it, but it's good to mix with other teas.

★★★★★

I was apprehensive when I opened the pouch and even more so as the tea brewed, because the cinnamon scent was overpowering and I'm not a huge fan of that spice. Luckily the flavors are well-balanced. It's a nice 'sipping' tea. One caveat: I will use a Paper Tea Filter henceforth because Decaf Chai left a lingering cinnamon scent in my IngenuiTea brewer that took awhile to remove.

I love having decaf option. A bit heavy on the clove.

★★★☆☆

My husband prefers a stronger flavor. He’s been using 3-4 bags in one cup. We won’t be ordering this one again.

★★★★☆

This was nice, and not as spicy as the masala version.

★★★☆☆

Needs the caffeine apparently or at least the way I made it, Perhaps used too little.

★★★☆☆

Too strong taste of cloves for me - I enjoy decaf chai from other distributors more.

★★★★★

This is my new favorite tea. It is just amazing. I love the bits of ginger and the cloves. Add a splash of milk and a drizzle of honey for the perfect afternoon treat.

★★☆☆☆

As with most chais, the flavor of clove overpowers the other spices, and this tea overall tastes unbalanced.

★★★★★

Lovely afternoon tea. Great flavor.

This is my favorite. I'm glad they decided to make a decaf chai, since I was looking for a way to have less caffeine.

★★★★★

I love chai tea and I'm so happy that there is a decaf choice. The flavor is all still there. I love being able to drink chai tea and not have to worry about staying up all night. Very good flavor.

★★★★★

This is A very tasty tea, very spicy and has a lovely aroma. I will definitely order this tea again. Excellent tea

★★★☆☆

The spice has good flavor (loose, it appears to be mostly cloves), it just overwhelms the tea even sweet and extra milky. I cut it with some Adagio decaf vanilla tea which helped. Next time, I'm going to cut it with a larger proportion of decaf English Breakfast from elsewhere.

★★★★★

Ordering new chai teas makes me a little nervous, because the spices can vary so much. This one was very nice--not too spicy, but still very much chai. Also, the fact that it's decaf made it perfect for sipping on in the evening, without worrying about being buzzed before bed.

★★★★☆

I like it that Adagio Teas offers some of there special teas in a decaf version.

★★★★★

Delicious! Love that it's decaf so I can enjoy it at any time of the day.

★★★★☆

A good decaf that can stand up to caffeinated teas. I have reduced my caffeine intake without the pain. More for afternoon than breakfast

★★★★☆

This is a nice chai. It seems like the cloves and ginger are the dominant flavors. I am glad this does not contain pepper, and that is it decaf. I made this with the IngenuiTEA infuser, without milk or sugar. The sample size is .8 ounces. Overall, a pleasant and basic chai tea. This is a tea I would purchase again. I wish there was a stronger cinnamon note and I added pieces of cinnamon bark when I brewed it, and it was really good.
