This makes a wonderful iced tea. I love the blueberry flavor and that it's decaf. It's also good with cream and sweetener.
Decaf black tea with fresh blueberry flavor. Highly aromatic cup, slightly sweet and rounded texture.

This makes a wonderful iced tea. I love the blueberry flavor and that it's decaf. It's also good with cream and sweetener.
loved the blueberry flavor once it cooled a bit... would get again
Updated: This time I cold brewed it and liked it a lot better.
The aroma was amazing but this tea was underwhelming in flavor. It was nice, but I wished there was more flavor
Really enjoyed this one! Great taste and aroma. The blueberry flavors paired well with my dessert of vanilla ice cream
I tried this straight off the steep and it was a bit strong for my taste. I added sweetener and cream and it was absolutely perfect. This will definitely be added to my favorites. The blueberry scent was delightful both when I opened the packet and after I added the sweetener and cream.
A fantastic blueberry flavour with a touch of tartness from the raspberry leaves. Added a little dark agave and it really boosted the blueberry and rounded out the natural sweetness.
I really like this steeped for around 5 minutes as that brings out the black tea flavor. The blueberry flavor is nice and not overpowering even with the shorter steep. I love that this is decaf.
Always down for Decaf!! Fantastic Blueberry vibes, here with this black tea. Add Blueberries in your cuppa steep and Adagio Blueberry Honey to amp up the goodness!
This was a great decaf blend with a delicate blueberry taste and amazing aroma! I was pleasantly surprised by how well the blueberry mixed with the black tea base.
When I opened my CommuniTEA packet, I smelled the juicy aromas of blueberries. I steeped the tea for 3 minutes. The blueberry flavor is delicious and the black tea didn't make it bitter at all. It has the same great flavor as the regular blueberry tea minus the caffeine, so a great alternative when you want decaf!
I love blueberry tea. Always have. You cannot beat it. It's not the best blueberry tea I've had, but it's still good. There is another taste here that I can't quite put my finger on. Overall a good, simple tea.
Out of the package, the blueberry aroma was very sweet, almost like candy. After brewing, the fragrance settled down.
The blueberry flavor is great and I love that this is a decaf blend so I can have it any time.
Nice berry flavor. Whole dried blueberries were present in my CommuniTEA packet. A lovely decaf option when I want black tea but don't need more caffeine!
This one started off not-great. Freshly brewed, the blueberry flavor just didn’t sit right, and there was some bitterness. I let it cool for a bit, though, and wow! Much better! The tea had mellowed, and the blueberry tasted fresh and juicy, but wasn’t overwhelming or artificial. I imagine this would be really nice iced.
My communiTea pack didn't have any blueberries to note, but a very distinct blueberry scent. A nice decaf without any bitterness.
I'm not huge on blueberries but this was pretty nice! The blueberry flavor didn't have an artifical flavor and the tea was really smooth. I added a little vanilla sweetener to offset the plain blueberry and it was delicious!
Excellent tea with plenty of natural blueberry taste. Fresh and sweet. Will have to get this again. Reminds me of fresh blueberry hunting.
Today's CommuniTEA is Decaf Blueberry (2-22-23). Upon opening my packet, I had a decent amount of black tea, barely any raspberry leaves, and 1 shriveled blop of blueberry. I added a little extra raspberry leaves and also a generous spoonful of blueberry honey to help with the flavor. This is an AMAZING tea! Super blueberry and very delicious! I would highly recommend this tea!
UPDATED: First steep - I really can't say my opinion has changed much. It definitely smells like blueberries, but there's not much to the taste, and there's more astringency on the finish than I care for. Second steep - it's a little smoother, but not much else changed, to be honest. Maybe this is a good base for blends, but it doesn't do much for me on its own.
Original Review:
It wasn't my favourite. It's pleasant, the fruity aroma is apparent, just not a lot of flavour.
CommuniTEA 2/22/23 Nice blueberry tea a bit tart so I added a tiny taste of honey which made it yummy. No bitterness and got a second brew just as good as the first.
In the bag: Almost entirely leaves. Black, twisted ceylon makes up most of the base. Some dark tan leaves are in the mix as well, which I assume are raspberry leaves. One whole blueberry.
On the nose (pre-steep): Unsurprisingly, blueberry is the star of the show. Sugar is present but mild, creating the impression of blueberry pie filling rather than candied blueberries. Barest hint of raspberry.
On the nose (post-steep): Blueberry and her sugar friend have wandered off the set, perhaps out to a nice lunch. Ceylon has been left in charge with an indifferent shrug of his shoulders.
On the tongue (pre-sweetener): Blueberry is back from lunch but left sugar at the restaurant. This less-sweet version compliments - rather than overwhelms - the unsweetened cocoa notes of ceylon. That hint of raspberry from pre-steep has rejoined the show as well.
On the tongue (post-sweetener): The blueberry has intensified a bit. The sweetness makes this taste like dessert. All we're missing is the whipped cream and pie crust.
Opinion: An excellent tea and a calorie-free dessert. I would pair this with any sweet berry dish. I recommend sweetener to bring out the sweet treat vibe.
Preparation: First steep 4 min, second steep 8 min. Both @ 195 ℉. ½ teaspoon monk fruit sweetener. I chose a slightly longer steep than with most blacks because I have found that decaf blacks can steep a little longer without turning bitter.
I really like how an Adagio includes herbal and decaf teas in their monthly communiTEA boxes. The decaf blueberry has a definite blueberry taste.
Delicious decaf! The blueberry flavor is sweet and bright, blends perfectly with the ceylon. This will make an excellent iced tea. Great job Adagio!
Opening the packet, we were hit with a blast of a big, juicy aroma. Brewed for 3 minutes at 212 degrees. As is, there is a ripe tart blueberry taste, very much like fresh fruit. Adding just a touch of sugar brought out more of the blueberry, almost like a tangy fruit leather. With milk (no sugar), imagine fresh blueberries with cream - yeah, that good. Being decaf, this would be a great tea to unwind to at the end of the day.
The blueberry is present in this tea, enough that it isn't overwhelming. I don't usually go for decaffeinated tea, but this one's not too bad.
Can’t ever go wrong with a blueberry tea.
Tried it ice and it was quite good
One of the best decaf fruit flavored black teas ive tried. Great hot or iced and makes a delicious latte
Delicious blueberry flavor. Very natural tasting. I love Adagio’s decaf teas. They are not bitter and I love that they use the CO2 method to help retain the most antioxidants.
The tea is artificial-smelling before being steeped, but it smells and tastes good once steeped. I just wish the blueberry flavor were a little stronger. This one is nice mixed with the blueberry pancake honeybush tea.
Solid blueberry tea with good flavor. I brew 3 teaspoons in ~1250 ml of water and drink it with a little stevia.
Had to switch to decaffeinated which would normally limit my options somewhat. But not with this tea. Absolutely love it
The blueberry flavor accentuates the black tea flavor. I love that it is decaf which means I can enjoy it all the time.
This fills the void in my tea pantry for a tasty decaf black tea when I want a flavored, hot drink n the afternoon.
I love the caffeinated version of this tea so really wanted decaf that I could drink before bedtime.
This is one of my all time favs - it is my go to in all seasons.
This is a delicious tea. A must order. It's like eating blueberries.
Smooth blueberry flavor without caffeine, what a great combination!
Mild blueberry flavor makes a nice cup of decaf tea
A full bodied and flavorful decaf, a welcome addition!
I was very excited about this one, but it just didn't do it for me. Sorry Adagio!
I could only have decaf drinks after a recent surgery and the blueberry helped get me through it. Very refreshing light blueberry taste.
A light and fruity flavor, not too strong or acidic. Great to make ice tea with, you can just add to pitcher and put in fridge. I usually like stronger fruity teas, especially ones with hibiscus, but this is a great refreshing break from some of the stronger teas.
I thought this would be better tasting, I may need to put milk in it to taste better
Adagio's blueberry teas are wonderful and the decaf version is no exception. It's a flavorful caffeine free alternative to the regular version.
I was exceptionally surprised when a tasted this. It was smooth and a nice gentle blueberry taste. Smells wonderful, its decaf too. followed directions to the letter
This tea has a very strong blueberry smell. As the tea steeps, I am able to smell the blueberry smell across the room. The scent is strong enough you can taste blueberries in the air as the tea steeps. The tea taste like blueberries. Little to no sugar is needed. It being decaf only made this tea better. I can drink this casually and not worry about what time it is.
I was very disappointed by this tea when I first had it. Hot, it's blueberry flavor is mild and not what I was looking for in a fruity tea. But then I iced it and found the best way to beat the heat in a long time! Cold, it needs little to no sweetener to coax the blueberry out and adding a little lemon juice bumps it up to the next level! If you want a great picnic tea, I'd highly recommend this.
I am always looking for good decaf black teas to drink in the evenings. This is a favorite. we have ordered several times now and keep coming back to it
This blueberry tea is wonderful and the fact that it is decaf is great for those nights that you want tea, but you also want to sleep! Highly recommend.
Great blueberry flavor. No bitterness detected. Added some Adagio honey, the blueberry flavor is bursting at the seams!
