My photo today is Teatime, whose full name is Teatime the Assassin. She was named after the most vicious assassin in the DiscWorld, who was abandoned as a child on the Assassin’s Guild doorstep and found at tea time. When I first brought Teatime home, she thought it was her job to attack at every opportunity. Now, though, she’s just as likely to be crawling into my arms in bed, wanting to be cuddled as she goes to sleep. Teatime also has a fandom, along with a fandom quiz. I hope you enjoy it. Figured a picture of my skinny boy, Cody would be a good fit for today's tea on a Caturday. It's hard to tell in most pictures, but he's basically an Abyssinian in a cow cat coat. Tiny tiny waist under all that fluff. (And a "little black spot" for tummy rubs) This is still my Friday night, but happy Saturday morning to all the early east risers!

When I saw your post, I had to look up spicy hermit cookie (and realized after that I could have just scrolled down since it’s answered here. They sound very intriguing. I will have to look for some sulfite-free fruit and give it a try as the warming spices sound amazing. Hopefully I can find dried apple as that would be awesome with the other flavors.

Mornin' all.... Starting today with a new blend that I made in honor of Mum Moonbeam. "Daughters of the Moon & Sun" 🌛🌞🌜 ... It has Assam Melody, Honeybush Apricot & Decaf Strawberry. Its wondrous!! I placed a buncha inclusions of Cornflowers and Marigolds and Safflower in it too... 💛🌚💙 ..... a super pretty blend...~

Per my CT PIC-- Having a MOXIE party today! Mox-White-Sox 🐾🐈‍⬛️ couldn't feel more honored. So, I won two cases of MOXIE soda in a raffle. Our New Englander teapals may know Moxie soda...but its more elusive, down this way. Most of my friends coming over, including myself have never tried the soda. Per my friend who has tried it--I suspect I may not fancy it. It may be some kinda acquired taste or childhood nostalgia ...but we shall see. Any MOXIE beverage fans in the house? ((Btw, I named Moxie his name because before I brought him home from his kitten foster, I dreamed of him and he told me that was his name in the dream ☁️🌫... so its not from the soda!!)) "Kid's got MOXIE!" 🎩🕺💪

Happy Caturday tea pals. We do not have a cat in our family (hubby is extremely allergic) so I posted a photo of Laddie that I took two days ago when he was trying to keep warm when the cold front went through. He is in his own little couch, which is between our chairs in our library. He spends a lot of time curled up there. He will pop his head up on my side or on hubby's side, which is a sign he wants an ear rub. Then he will settle back down to snooze some more. I don't have Skinny Tea in my tea cuphoard so will not be able to sip along today. Our morning tea was Anhui Keemun, which was enjoyed before our lovely morning walk. I am now on my second tea of the morning...Ruth's tasty Earl of the Tiger, which is a delicious blend of Earl Grey Moonlight and Tiger Eye with cacao nibs. https://www.adagio.com/200329

Update about Mambo: As it stands now, if you have Mambo in blends--even though it's back in stock, they don't have it in the blending room. They have just packaged it all up. So, your Mambo blends needs to be BYO Mambo for now.

Birthday festivities have been ongoing. I went out for dinner with my mom & stepdad on Thursday and they gave me a journal. Last night I went out to dinner with my dad & stepmom and they gave me a gift set of a dozen green tea pyramid tea bags in various flavors and then surprise tickets to see Neil Simon's "Rumors" at the community theater (which I haven't been to in ages due to covid and then it recently got a new space & it was fun reconnecting with people). Then today I used some birthday coupons and took myself to see Now You See Me: Now You Don't and have dinner. ☺️

I'm blown away with this new blend I tried and it is a Coco decaf tea , and I have many of those blends with or without caffeine. could swear I was drinking hot coco but it is Decaf and tastes delicious. Spent the morning listening to the Spinal CSF Leak Foundation’s Bridging the Gap conference for patients families. There’s always some parts that I don’t understand as too medically technical for my brain fog, but it’s always interesting. Wiped me out focusing that long though. I had a toasted rice tea this morning and a rooibos chai in the afternoon. Both favs.
