Today you can celebrate Black poetry day, edge day, forgive an ex day, four prunes day, day for the eradication of poverty, Mulligan day, mammography day, pasta day, playing card, collection day, payback a friend day, spreadsheet today, wear somethings gaudy day, student day, and world trauma day. OK, so you probably are going to celebrate world trauma day, I sure don’t want to, but it may be a moment to reflect. It is also developmental language disorder awareness day, and as a speech therapist, this one makes me wonder, because this is not a diagnosis I ever see, And I work primarily with 3 to 5 year olds!

World trauma day is interesting to read about. I didn’t realize road accidents are so problematic in India. It’s also interesting they specifically chose 4 for the prunes. I like prunes but they don’t like me. I used speadsheets every day when working and they really helped keep track of things, so I’m fond of those. However I am having manicotti later for lunch, so I will celebrate pasta day.

Good morning CT! Yesterday was so busy that I completely forgot to upload a photo and chat so I lost both streaks. Bummer! Anywho, today's pic is from the gift shop of the Star Trek Original Series Set tour in Ticonderoga, NY. I took a trip there in August and it was great even for a non-Trekkie such as myself. If you are a fan and ever take the trek to upstate NY, I highly recommend checking it out!

Jen, we did! For once my hubby actually purchased more (and a lot bigger) books than I did. However, I made up for it as I purchased puzzles, holiday cards and a reading blanket. I had a wonderful lunch (Acai Bowl) and then a snack (Pumpkin Spice, naturally, with almond milk, Frappucinno). Laddie was such a good boy considering the length of time we were gone. He was well rewarded with a tasty salmon snack. We had a lovely outing and now I am reading to settle in to read.

I’d have to dig back into my past order dates so not sure exactly Black Friday (may start a bit earlier) but they have done stacking gifts with purchases as your total spend increases. 12 days of Christmas tin set was at $200 last year. I think Reindeer Fuel was about $100/125 level and the 6 Christmas tins box was $150/175 level.

They are treated as free blends samples, which is to say that only the first one is free. - Resets after 6 months I think. Congrats on being the first person to solve it. It's been there since May.

No tea-tox for me. Unfortunately the anti-inflammatory is actually inflammatory for me as milk thistle is related to ragweed. I still have a few pouches from September as I joined mid-way through and today I tried the gaucho mate chai. At 5 minutes, it was too mild for me, but then I brewed for 10 minutes and really enjoyed it.

Does anyone know if you can still get replacement lids for the ceramic cups? I went in to look at the cups and I don't see the lids offered separately anymore. I went years without breaking one of the cups or lids....and in the space of a week I've broken two of the lids by dropping them on the floor. Luckily, all my cups are ok....the last one I caught the cup before it fell, but the lid smashed into pieces.....

You can't buy empty spice bottles (with names printed on them) from Selefina anymore either...which is sad for me, because I was filling all my mixmatched spices into Selefina Jars with plans to refill from Selefina...Hey Twyla, can you ask about those too? I'd be happy to pay an extra dollar to have the empties printed. It used to be $1 for the jars, but they bumped up to $2 (I imagine due to our tariff situation)...but yeah, that's been bugging me for a few months now :/

Today's tea is OK, I guess, but I think this is in the wellness line and in general the flavors of those tea don't work that great for me. Sweetening it might help though.

Quick pop in, she's still on the mend, but night and day difference, she has gained alot of strength back, is eating like crazy again, I can still feel she doesn't feel great, but nothing like Sat-wed, the vet and I talked and we believe the pain may have been from her anal glad expression, for the first time ever there was a hard bit in there and it may have caused her the discomfort she was feeling. We're hoping that's all it was anyway. Fingers crossed. We're both taking it easy as we spent most of the day in bed, and laying on the couch, last night was the first time I slept since Sat, I was afraid to take my eyes of her for a second. Sabby and I, are sending love to everyone 💜🐈⬛💜😘

Poor baby. I have to take mine in every few months for the same or she ends up with a cyst and antibiotics. Financially, it might be hard to do (I know it’s expensive at my vet, especially as LG has to be sedated for the simplest exams), but would it help to take her a little more often so it doesn’t harden so much?

Yeah, solid pieces in anal glands will definitely make a pet feel uncomfortable. My friends pug (Hoggle) had one rupture and he wouldn’t eat as well, and we are talking about a dog that never missed a meal, snack, or opportunity to snag a tid bit. Good work on both of you. Still in our thoughts and sending strength to little Sabby.
