Today was a long day and tomorrow I have a lot of meetings. Yuck!

New firehouse in Roanoke, there was an uproar when they tore the old one down, but they did keep the dog!

I don't know if it's just me, but I have been pulling a ton of spice cards lately

I’ve been pulling constant coconut and almond. It’s like the algorithm knows what I dislike and is determined to give it to me. 😆 I hope you either enjoy spice, or have better luck next week.

Finally getting to head home in the morning, now to finish healing. I can’t say enough about this clinic, their doctors and the staff. Prayers for a full recovery would be so appreciated. I’ve had three previous bone grafts in my jaw fail, hopefully this is the last time I have to have my jaw worked on. I can’t wait to be able to drink some tea again. Still awake and likely to be until after work around 10am. Took a 4-hour "nap" to recover from shift work today! My mom and I have long-time friends (YEARS!) coming to visit today. He's a pastor and she's a sweetheart. They were present at my dad's funeral which meant so much since she'd served under him during his active duty Army years. (I was in grade school at that time.) Looking forward to seeing them though it's my mom who's the real "bestie" with them. <3

Just got home and have a stack of exams to grade. Going to be a long night.
