Good morning, all! Question: If you've tried Half-Caff Brekkie, what black tea would you compare it to? Curious because-- believe it or not-- there ARE a few black teas I'm not keen on. ;) I'd really hate to spend money on a bright and coppery tea such as Ceylon or an ultra-smooth fruity-leaning Irish Breakfast thinking I'm getting something dark and strong like Gold Leaf Assam. I am NOT a fan of the former black teas despite appreciating all who grow, harvest, and process tea for the world at large. <3 I'm not a fan of Kenyan tea so far either. All the ones I've tasted are bland-- not much actual tea taste though very smooth. Smoothness is one of their extolled characteristics but it's not my jam. I'd rather have a "shaggy" tea-- a little rough in appearance perhaps but bold and flavorful. ;)

I wish I thought to try that when mine decided to walk or lie on my keyboard when working! I had a laptop that I had to keep open for video meetings and a larger monitor (the laptop one was tiny so didn’t use it) and I had a pullout keyboard tray with keyboard I used for typing. Because I had to keep the laptop open for the computer, Lola decided that keyboard was fair game and she once turned the laptop off and another time set it to airplane mode - both mid-meeting! I piled notepads on the laptop keyboard to try to keep her from hitting keys but they occasionally moved’. Would have gotten an external camera but only a few were allowed and just too much to try to figure it out. She also liked to photobomb meetings, I think she wanted to know who I was talking to, so she got locked out of the room for important ones. 🐱 😹

Good morning y’all. I passed today’s teas on to hubby, since its an unflavored green and I tend to not care for the unflavored ones. Instead I went with Green Chai to keep with the green tea theme of the day. This one really makes me think of Fall. At our local HEB (grocery store in Tx only) they will sell seasonal cinnamon or pumpkin spice decor brooms and they always smell so good. Never brought myself to buy one, too afraid of how cinnamon bombed the house would smell 😅. This tea reminds me of that kind of smell. Warm and fuzzy, with a promise of cooler days and nights to come. Right now it’s storming and boy do we need the rain here. Happy hump day, hope it passes by smoothly and quickly to the weekend.

Ottum, I love the smell of the cinnamon brooms and succumbed to one once. However, my sinuses did not like it one bit!

This is exactly what I am worried would happen lol. So I stick to gently scented pinecones that are lightly soaked in cinnamon oil. Not the same as those brooms, but close!

Happy Wednesday tea friends! I ordered my custom blend of our pet rabbit Roderic. I tried the blend today. It is called Crisp Apple Brew. Apple, cinnamon, candy apple, and caramel flavors with a black tea base. Anyone who is interested, the charity is Great Lakes Rabbit Sanctuary where Roderic was adopted from along with his late mate and our previous bonded pair. We volunteer at the sanctuary. All of the animals are well cared for and live their lives there if they don’t find a forever home.
