Harvested this spring in the misty hills of Shi Feng, near Hangzhou’s famous West Lake, this single-origin Dragon’s Well green tea captures the essence of its birthplace — fresh, nutty, and softly floral. Hand-roasted in small batches, the flat jade leaves release the signature notes of toasted chestnut and sweet clover, finishing with a gentle, refreshing crispness. Enjoy this authentic Long Jing while it’s at its freshest — a taste of Hangzhou in every sip.

About the leaves:

This Shi Feng Lung Jing is grown at an elevation of 500 meters above sea level in Zhejiang, China. Grown from the #43 longjing cultivar, his hand-plucked variety has a standard of one bud and one or two, three cm long leaves. which were harvested in early April. The firing time and temperature is determined by the tea master and depends solely on the tenderness of the leaves at that time and is repeated one additional time. Compared with other Lung Jings, this one has a flatter, lighter appearance.

The year alone has zipped by with such speed that I am constantly asking what day are we on lol. Summer for us, while still hot don’t get me wrong, has been below average temperatures. We received a lot of rain, and cloud cover which is absolutely unheard of for us this time of year. It has helped me cope with temperatures, but that humidity though 🥵

Made it to the top of Mt. Phelps...pictured...8.8 miles, 2244 elevation gain, 7.25 hours, two leashed dogs that insisted on going around each tree in opposite directions. Proud....I like to test myself and I can still do this.

I am not too far from the Mt Washington hotel. We are currently on vacay in Littleton, NH. Idk if we will take the cog railway up to the summit this trip or not. I know we are taking the kiddos up the tram to The Cannon mountain summit though since I think they are taking the second generation tram out after 45 years and rebuilding for a newer tram.

Good morning! I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed my cup of shi feng long jing with my breakfast this morning. Greens can be iffy for me.
