Good morning, everyone! :) Happy Monday! I'm off work this week on PTO, so up early still to take GusGus outside for his early morning patrol. The apartment complex was monster free, so he had relatively easy morning rounds. :) Now sipping cold brewed tea (Assam Melody with spiced orange) for awhile until I can go back to sleep. Good morning all! This week is the last week of work for my students before their big final project! I'm so excited to see their work come together! I hope everyone has a fantastic Monday!

On this rainy morning I am indulging in another cup of tea...Camp Out. It is an incredible blend by Twyla and was a birthday gift from a wonderful tea friend, Janet. Wow, is it yummy! Lapsang Souchong, Chocolate Chip and Chocolate Chai, with cacao nibs, combine perfectly into a tasty cup. I am in trouble and will have to guard my tin carefully as hubby loves it too! I am going to want a lot more of this tasty brew.

Good morning. Contemplating what I need to get done today as it feels like the month is slipping by a little too fast and I have an end of the month deadline to meet. I always thought of May as a month to run free and play, but this year it has been the busiest so far with many overlapping projects and stacked deadlines going into next month. I need to take a break and go to a park, I'm pretty sure my inner child is demanding park time. 🤣

Jackfruit is a great meat replacement. My daughter in-law uses it for all kinds of meals and they're pretty good.

Ashley, i drink about 2 - 4 cups per day, depending on how tired i am. I like my tea strong and use 1 Tablespoon of tea / 8 oz of water. so I go through 2 big bags of tea per month. Most people only use 1 teaspoon per/ 8 oz, and 1 bag would probably suffice.

I usually do 2-3 cups of caffeinated and 1 cup decaf/herbal a day and I usually do a level teaspoon per cup. I can't really say what that is in the 3oz bags as I've been doing a lot of the sample pouches lately and tend to go between at least 2 different caffeinated teas at a time. I know I tend to get 12 cups out of those (even though the site says 10). So I'd go with Khrissi and say to get 2 bags - at least the to be on the safe side.

I drink lots, start the day with a caffeine then decaf or no caffeine across the day, normally 3-4 different kinds a day (most often 3 lately)

I drink about 4 cups a day and use about 4 grams of tea per cup of black tea. If I'm drinking decaf/herbal tea, I'll use more tea leaves, about 4-6 grams.

I usually consume 4-5 cups daily depending on mood and activities. For me its high caffeine from 6:30a to 11a, moderate caffeine noon to 3p, and no caffeine after 4p. I drink all kinds of flavors and types and will usually do 1 1/2 tsps of most with 10oz of spring water. Unless Im super tired or worn in a morning I will do 2 tsp of high caffeine black tea. Its really all about your preferences. Some like their tea strong, others moderate to get a good feel, and with some light. Oh, and I usually go through a 3oz bag in a couple of months.

One more day of a 5-day work stretch then a day to get ready for my dad's funeral/memorial service. Numerous family members are coming from out of state. I'll be glad to see them. I'll also be glad when this is over. I'm an introvert who doesn't love sizable gatherings (even family ones) though I love the people. There's also been a lot of work/effort/upheaval tied to this. I'm ready for normal instead of extra.
