In today’s picture Weasley was easily distracted by birds on the TV.

My last dog was scared of birds on the tv if they sounded angry. Our cat loves to watch television- we even have the tv programmed so we can turn it on for him if we’re gone too long. He comes running and jumps on his cat tree to watch it.

I’m up but winding down for the night. It’s a bit after 11 PM here

Really looking forward to tomorrow’s tea. Love pumpkin chai and love honeybush, but I have never had the two mixed. Usually it’s a black or rooibos tea.

43 days till Halloween 💜🎃💜 this is one of my all time favorites, its just so dang tasty!!💜 Tonight While giving Sabby her IV, her and I became blood brothers, whoops, but the sentiment is sweet, no worries I'm ok, it was just a crazy thing to happen, but thinking of it that way made me feel better about the situation. Anneke, I actually knew a greeting card writer (well, he was formerly a greeting card writer). He was one of my English professors in college. I actually hugged him too as after the class was finished he asked me out and we dated a bit. He even wrote a couple poems about me. Of course that was many years ago and prior to my meeting my hubby.

My husband thinks everyday is cheeseburger day! I haven't had a rice crispness treat in a very long time . Yum!

Reading e-book all day today.

Michelle, I am celebrating read an ebook Day by sitting under the tree enjoying the cool breezes and the clouds from the rain overnight and reading another novel.

Good afternoon. Today's tea is a good one. I just finished reading an interesting book about getting pigments from plants and turning them into watercolor paints and inks. They had a recipe entry for tea paint, they capture the tannins from black tea and use that as pigment for the paint. I thought that was really neat, and would love to try it after we move.

I recently brewed up double strength black tea as a scalp and hair rinse. It stained my bathtub and the towel I used. Bleach was even used on the tub and the stains didn’t come out. Please be careful when making the paint from the black tea. BYW, paint from natural sources sounds like a great idea.

I follow a lady who makes her own watercolors. The process is fascinating. Love some chemistry.

Happy Thursday tea friends! I decided to share one of the many beautiful pictures I have received periodically from a priest in northern Germany. He started a What’s App group for Lent and Easter sharing photos related to the season. For the length of Ordinary Time he formed a new group sharing photos of the sky and the surrounding countryside. He lives on a hill where the remains of a medieval castle are. I have received photos from the top of the tower and photos with the chapel and gatehouse where he lives. His garden is extensive and many pictures of the blooms were shared. These photos have brightened my days throughout the summer. I am looking forward to his autumn photos.

Hi everyone! I absolutely adore Honeybush Pumpkin Chai. One of my favorites for sure.

It’s been really hot lately and I spend most of my afternoons working outside in the sun and heat. As I stand in the heat I’ve been finding myself thinking of McCall’s book “The Limpoco Detective Society.” It’s first chapter is entitled “On a hot day we dream of tea.” I expect that, once again, I will spend the hottest part of the afternoon dreaming of tea, and when I can brew another pot.
