★★★★☆

Delicious hot or iced. A little heavy on the ginger though.

★★★★★

A delicious, strong tea with a strong cinnamon flavor.

★★★★★

This is the perfect Chai. Light and crisp with just the right amount of peppery zing. It is perfect hot or iced!

★★★★★

A perfect tea for winding down in the evening and you don't want the caffeine of a black chai.

★★★☆☆

I wanted to like this tea more than I did. In the packet, it smells amazing-- the peppercorn shone through particularly strongly for me, even with the ginger and cloves. It's also a very pretty tea to look at (again, the peppercorn!) In the cup, I was underwhelmed. It tasted like a tea brewed from severely overused black chai leaves. There was very little flavor left in the tea itself, just something vaguely (and mildly) spicy (peppercorn/ginger?); most of the flavor was towards the end of the sip. This tea would probably be nice for people who enjoy white teas or who want a tiny bit of caffeine/something light to drink--
enough caffeine to stay awake, but no 'rush.' As a chai fan, I found it lackluster, lacking the richness and complexity that makes a chai a chai.

★★★★★

This is a mellow chai, with a nice blend of spices.

★★★★★

Excellent blend! It's a sweet and complex mix with that Chai peppery note at the end.

★★★★★

This has become one of my favorites. It has a light flavor and is well balanced. I was surprised that I like it so well, being a person that prefers at least a little boldness along with a distinct or unique character. This tea has those characteristics, though the boldness is in its subtlety. The chai does not overpower or compete. It has a unity, with the flavors working together and still retaining their individual properties. It is relaxing, yet invigorating with a bright, uplifting mood at the same time.

★★★★★

Got this for a tea party at my work for kids between the ages of 4 and 10 with parents. The chais we pick are always a hit and this was loved so much by the parents.

★★★★☆

A little softer flavor than some other chai's. Very tasty.

★★★★☆

Definitely one of the more interesting choices on this site. Not my everyday tea, but definitely something for rainy days.

★★★★★

Very good chai on the lighter side. Not as heavy as the green chai but reminiscent of the Masala Chai without the heaviness.

★★★★☆

I like the taste, the peppercorn leaves a nice spicy feeling on your tongue. I love the mix with the lemon grass also. It is just a little bit to weak for me, but that's really me...

★★★★★

Very nice chai, not too strong on the spices. Slightly sweet in the beginning, then spicy.

★★★★☆

Tastes very similar (in a good way) to the early version of teavana's WHITE AYURVEDIC CHAI before they removed the peppercorns and toned it down. this blend also seems to have more ginger and lemongrass flavor that lingers. thus far this one of the best substitutions i have found for the chai latte that i used to get at the local coffee shops when i was in school. i don't do much caffeine (coffee/soda) and this doesn't keep me up late and it has good flavor.
i used 1 1/2 tsp in a teabag with sugar and a splash of milk. i was able to get 2 cups from it without the flavor dropping significantly. 2nd cup steeped a couple of min longer. solid A

This tea smells delicious, and it has a 'spicier' chai taste to it. Very good. A 3 min brew time does give it a strong flavor, though.

★★☆☆☆

Too light and lemony. It was astringent to me. I felt cream wouldn't help. May try again the coconut milk.

★★★★☆

I think I would have liked this better if it hadn't been called a chai. 'Chai' made me expect stronger flavors than this tea had. It smells wonderful and the flavor is fine, it was just the clash between what I expected and what the tea actually is.

★★★★★

ive never had a white chai before, only with black tea. This has all the spice, but tastes lighter. Very pleasant.

★★★★★

This is a lovely and spicy tea. It's mostly fruity and lemony, with a nice undertone of white tea. There's very little actual tea in it (it's mostly herbal ingredients) so it's quite low in caffeine. The flavor makes it a nice mental pick-me-up though.

★★★★☆

Definitely an interesting cup; light, spicy lemon flavor with a good zing from the ginger. Not sure if I'd get more, but it was definitely an interesting sample.

★★★★★

Can't wait to try this tea. Smells less spicy than other chais.

★★★★★

A bit softer in flavor than the other chais available, it's still delicious.

Although I find most chai a little too strong, the white chai is delicate enough not to bother me while still conveying that signature chai feel.

★★★★★

This is fantastic surprise. Peppery is entirely apt, but not in the way I expected. Not at all over-bearing as some darker chais can be, but nonetheless powerfully spicy in the best sense of that term.

★★★★☆

Liked the spice and fruit combo. interesting tang to the taste.

i really enjoy this iced with some cream and sugar.hot its a bit overpowering for me personally but if you love spicy chais and lemongrass its fine hot. i bought 3 oz and iced it all!

★★★★★

One of my favorite teas. Would most definitely by this again.

★★★★★

I combined this with the gaucho mate chai (brewed separately, at their appropriate respective temperatures). The combo was delicious, especially was a winter warm-me-up.

★★★★★

I make a small pot of tea and steep somewhat longer than suggested. I love a spicy chai. This one is great for when I would like lighter flavor. I often add some honey to compliment.

★★★★★

Amazing chai tea. I mix this with the White Grapefruit and its an amazing blend. I let my wife smell this and she said it made her think of Christmas. The scent is just heaven and the flavors are very well blended.

★★★★★

I'm partial to chai, and this one is a lovely option for when I'm feeling in the moon for something with lighter flavor.

★★★★★

This is a perfect and far less expensive version of another white chai. That tea was my first tea and it got me started drinking tea altogether. I recently bought a pound of this and will always have some around the house.

★★★★★

This honestly tastes to me like a more traditional pumpkin spice than the pumpkin spice tea adagio offers. O.o The flavor is smooth, gentle, light without being bland, and the spice is comfortingly warm and a hint peppery. It's a very pleasant and well-behaved chai which isn't in your face- great for warming up while winding down your evening. I love it!

Nice balanced spice level without a bitter tea aftertaste

★★★★★

Smells amazing. Very great flavor. Like to blend with other Chai teas.

★★★★★

It was the first snow of the season, so it was the perfect time to break this out. It's awesome! A sweet, spicy flavor that warms your whole body. It's a great recommendation on a cold day.

★★★☆☆

Good mouth-feel the spice is more on the after taste. A very x-mas tree vibe. from the look to the flavor. Strong white tea and lemon balm taste the ginger and pepper is almost an after taste. Very herbal. Not what I was looking for in a chai, but still good for me to finish a mug.

Delicious tea with all of the flavors of the spices.

★★★★★

This is our favorite tea for fall/winter. Love the kick the peppercorns and ginger give it. I actually prefer this chai to any of the other chais I've tried from adagio. Great flavor. I drink it plain.

★★★★★

If it weren't for the cardamom, I would not have recognized this as chai. It's peppery - very peppery - and herbal. I didn't taste the tea or the fruit. I was surprised not to see ginger in the ingredients, but maybe what I'm tasting is the spice flavor. I think this might be the most savory tea I've ever had. It's really unique. It's one of those teas that I won't reorder but have zero regrets about buying in sample size.

Update: It grew on me. I've ordered a few sample packets over the last year.

Flavorful. Interesting. Not a normal chai that we drink but definitely worth trying.

★★★★★

Interesting... a bit light for a chai. Couldn't really taste the pepper.

★★★☆☆

It gets this review because it's so aesthetically pleasing and heavenly smelling. But the taste... I won't be buying this again. Particularly because it's not well balanced at all.

Let me explain, I liked the taste but it was too unbalanced, especially without milk. Not that I'm using that as the basis to this review as spiced chais are milk teas and I wouldn't review them based off improper brewing. Even with the milk I still found this tea to be horridly imbalanced.

I simply had different expectations for this tea.

White teas are very delicate so I expected the spices to be toned down and mixed so that it complimented the white tea. But it tastes like they threw the same spices on the white chai as they would a black chai. The spices completely overwhelmed the white tea.

I would have expected the blenders of this tea to put in more effort put into trying to marry the two as they are very contrasting. It's a tricky combination I realized and therefore I'm not disappointed. It makes a decent cup.

I brewed this tea four, once at the recommended brewing instructions (once with milk, once without) It was not satisfactory. I much preferred when I steeped it for 5 minutes (it's very chunky so I thought it warranted longer brewing times) and at 185 degrees rather than the 195 degrees that they recommended, as before once with milk and once without. It's in my opinion the temperature recommended is slightly too high for a white tea, but understandable because as a white tea blend goes it is on the higher steeping side when it comes to whites.

I've had better white chai blends, I didn't prefer this one but it's not the worst I've had. White chai is always a good go-to when I want something a little less strong than a black chai. I think once I use up the 3oz I've bought of this tea I won't be buying more.

But if you're looking for a chai with all the spice of a regular black tea, but a more subtle base this would be a good blend for you.

Fantastic white tea! If you like chai but don't like the harshness of the typical black tea then you'll love this. The white tea is incredibly mild and the chai spices are nice and strong. Perfection.

I love it. I can't wait to share it with my sister when she comes over. It will be really good once it gets cooler outside.

★★☆☆☆

Alas, this isn't for me. I like the masala and thai chais, but this blend just doesn't say 'chai' to me.

★★★★★

From the smell it was difficult to tell if i was going to like it. Turns out the white-tea mildness makes it perfect for me- it's almost a savory flavor I think. I mixed it with white blueberry it was good.

★★★★★

Really loved this tea! It tastes a lot like a hot cider almost. I think this would be great actually used as a mulling spice IN a good unspiced cider to really kick it up another notch above your typical mulling spices. The tea flavor is subtle, upstaged by all the other notes, but still an excellent warming tea.
