Smooth but not too light. Strong chai for a white tea but it was good, nice to try something new and tasty.

★★★★★

Love this tea! My go-to winter chai, as it feel warming and comforting. The blend of spices is perfect for the flavor of the white tea, nicely softer than black tea chais that sometimes seem harsh to me.

I love chai but this one is lacking in my opinion. The flavors are just too light overall. I wanted a strong spicy cinnamon and all I got here was a very muted flavor.

Barely any taste at all. Nothing like the Teavana. In the trash this too goes. I was hopeful. Not sure how anyone can compare this to the Teavana tea.

★★★★★

Surprising delicious. I was intrigued because I had never tried a white tea, but this was fantastic. You won't see a lot of color when steeping (naturally) but the flavor is spicy and robust.

★★★★★

I did not think this tea would turn out very well being made with a white tea but I was wrong it was delicious, We will be buying more of this one.

This one has been very nice surprise! As it's cooler weather now, I tend to reach for chai but this one was different. As I don't typically drink a lot of whites, but I'm changing that practice, I was not expecting how light but flavorful this one was. It was somehow a bit tropical and spicy at same time. I drank two servings back to back with nothing added.
I did add 2 tsp per about 10 oz water. I've already ordered more. Just give it a try!

This is unlike any other tea I’ve had— in a good way. It’s very cinnamon and ginger forward. I can taste the cardamom and lemongrass. I can feel the black pepper. I truly can’t taste the pineapple, so if that addition sounds off-putting, try it anyway bc I can’t even perceive it. It’s light but spicy, so it’s hard to catalogue, but I find it delightful. Also, I know there’s a little bit of caffeine in it, but I can drink it in the evening without a problem.

Nice and spicy. I find chai to be comforting during cold and flu season. I did not taste the coconut or the pineapple but it is a nice lighter alternative to most other chai’s.

Another favorite. We mix this with the Samaritan mate. Our go to tea throughout the day. On my reorder list.

It was nice to experience a white tea for the base of a chai. It was light and spicy without being overwhelming.

★★★☆☆

This one was not a fav for me. Actually, I think this is a case of taking things to combos I like and combining them for something that I don't. I love chai spices and I love coconut with lemongrass and a fruit added, but put it all together and they are middle of the road. To me the chai spices definitely were forefront with lemongrass also making it's presence known. The coconut was more in the background and the pineapple even moreso. I find many white teas too delicate and light anyway so putting in them in the ring with chai spices the white I feel didn't stand a chance at making itself known. I would gladly drink it again if it comes up in another CT box and maybe experiment with adding things to the cup or iced options, but definitely not a purchase for me. Added nothing to my cup today. 212° 5 min.

A great low caffeine chai option. I didn’t really pick up on the tropical flavors in the tea, but I did enjoy the spicy flavor.

The packet has a very sweet cinnamon aroma. Both hot and iced it has very cinnamon taste maybe also a light other spice. It is okay but not one I would seek out.

Interesting combination mixing white tea with pretty powerful spices. Overall I enjoyed it but do feel the white tea got lost. Still enjoyable sip!

When I opened the CT packet, there was a nice sage-y smell. Once brewed, it was a light tea with a cinnamon-forward taste. Brewed for 6 minutes with a packet of Splenda.

such an interesting Chai, a light white tea base, plenty of spice present, and some underlying tropical touches that bring fun aromatics to the cup!

Wow! This one is a great alternative if you love the taste of Chai but can't have a lot of caffeine for like health reasons. I absolutely loved it, it was so good!

I’m not sure how I feel about this tea… it is definitely a chai, the flavor being prominently sweet cinnamon, but then the tropical flavors hit after in a soft, subtle way that leaves me trying to distinguish what I’m tasting

A different twist to chai. A light delicate tea that adds a base for the spices to sing. Cinnamon really stands out in a good way, being sweet.

CommuniTEA sample: 5 min @ 212 F. I'm not a fan of the spicy cinnamon flavor that adagio uses, to me, it's too sweet and reminds me of scented candles. That takes away from a lot of the aspects that I might like in this Chai, and it makes it harder to enjoy. I also feel like I'm mostly just getting the cinnamon and some of the other spices, and maybe some hints of the coconut? The first cup I'll admit had some nice, white tea flavor, and I feel like it pairs well with the spices, but I don't really see the reason for adding the fruit. The second cup did not have the white tea flavor, and I never really tasted the lemongrass at all. Mostly, I tasted the cinnamon flavoring, real cinnamon, ginger, and coconut.

What a interesting blend of tea! It's fruity and spicy, the flavors meld together and makes this a lightly, spiced, tropical tea. I enjoyed this iced.

I enjoy chai tea, and this didnt disappoint. I also added a bit of coconut milk for a bit more of a coconut flavor.

It's a very delicate flavor, despite putting a tbsp of tea leaves into my steep. There is a decent subtle hint of spices, which would be overpowering most likely if they were much stronger. Not a bad mild tea for calm days but nothing exciting either.

Was so happy to find this tea ... I was a 'Teavanna white Chai' dedicated follower, but this one is better in my opinion.

I love this chai but it is very very light. Which is wonderful but can be a bummer if that’s not what you’re looking for

I've been blending this (2 bags each) with the Samaurai Chai in the Airtight Pitcher. The combination has been a favorite hot tea for years, and I think I love it even more iced. I keep a pitcher made at all times -- no sugar, no milk, strong caffeine, great flavor -- and even used it as a "signature" non-alcoholic drink for my bridal party. Highly recommended!
(24 hours in the fridge for strong flavor cold brewed iced tea)

It's good enough to drink the whole cup (with some Adagio green tea honey added), but I like the regular White Chai a lot more. The ingredients are pretty similar so I thought the taste would be too, but for me the regular White Chai wins by a lot. I dooo think it's possible the ingredients ratio my sample pouch is off, though -- the flavor balance was weird and there was a flavor note I couldn't identify in the cup.

I was looking to grab a tea for late night reads that wouldn't keep me awake all night. Finding a White Chai was a blessing. This carries a huge nose, lots of cinnamon a bit of ginger, and almost some tropical fruit notes to help smooth this out. Excellent Chai if you're looking for a late night cup.

Lovely flavor. Cinnamon is the forward flavor, but not overpowering or tasting like fireball. Everything else blends quite nicely behind the Cinnamon, not bitter if over steeped.

Not a big fan of chai, but since I liked the white chia I thought I would give this one a try. I didn't care for this one.

I decided to give this tea another chance and adjust my steep time when combined with the Samurai Mate tea and I'm pleased. I miss the Teavana blend, but Adagio did good.

A more subtle chai than the black tea varieties. Heavy on the cinnamon, but no complaints here. Husband says it’s slightly fruity, but I didn't pick up on the fruit. Goes great with dark chocolate.

Fruity and spicy. Very flavorful for a white tea. This tastes very similar to Samurai Matte and Thai Chai, but it's caffeine free.

This is a wonderful chai for me. It was light and not overly spiced, with overtones of sweet cinnamon - perfect for drinking plain. I def recommend a lower temp for steeping so you don’t scald the white tea. Steeped 5+ mins @ 185°

An Interesting combination.. I get subtle hints of the lemon grass and cinnamon and ginger. The Aroma was oddly perfumed to me and initially the taste was “soapy”. I enjoyed the tea as I do most but I had to get used to the flavor/aroma which was not offensive just different to my taste buds. The delicate white tea mixed well with the spicy chai. I admire those that can come up with these combinations.

I thought it a little peculiar that a white tea would need to be boiled at 212 degrees. I feel a little bit of the tropical flavors couldn't come through as a result making this blend very spice forward which is okay if that's your preference. Next time I would probably try this again using a lower temperature to see if I could taste more of the flavors I was expecting.

A pleasant, light tea. If you're looking for a milder version of the regular chai then this is the one for you.

Update: strong spice flavor with a touch of coconut and a sweet aftertaste. This may be the best of the chai teas

A pleasant light spicy and fruity chai. The high water temperature didn't hurt the white tea leaves. Adding honey brought out more of the pineapple flavor.

MAY '24 liked it but a bit less this time? really just cinnamon
ok so i liked this! am surprised. definitely thought that white tea + chai would = watery bland chai. It isn't bland at all it's light but flavorful. mostly cinnamon flavor though, no fruit or coconut at all is evident for me.

A pleasant enough chai; light, with cinnamon being the main flavor profile. Nothing tropical was to be had in my packet, though. Just enough spice for the delicate white tea. Not my favorite chai, by any means, but it might make an interesting iced tea.

An interesting cup, to be sure. Like many others, I also ignored the temp recommendation and brewed at a lower temp (about 195). The resulting cup of tea is pleasant, mild, and dominated by the chai masala. I definitely taste that sort of flat note of artificial ginger and cinnamon flavoring. I do like that it’s a lower caffeine blend. Definitely interesting, but I’m not about to give up my preferred black tea with whole spices.

★★★☆☆

My tastebuds are confused by this tea. Normally I would add cream to a chai, but with the lemongrass, white tea, pineapple, that just seems weird.
I’ll still add it though. It definitely tastes interesting.

Very nice, a light chai for those early afternoons where you don't quite want a load of caffeine, but also haven't given in to decaf yet.

Absolutely love this tea—definitely use more than you think, otherwise it’s a little weak.

This is one of my three top teas.
There is something about this white tea. It's life ght, soft in flavor, not overpowering. When you add the rest of the flavors to it, the tea becomes a smooth fresh, beachfront tea that I can see sitting in a beach or a tepid night looking out at it this always iced for me, sipping it and just relaxing.
.to me, this is a tea to savor, enjoying each sip. I sweeten it with PyureI find that one of the nicer tasting stevias. Perfect. Add some ice and chill out.

Yummy...if you love Chai this tea is for you. It taste like the White Chai I used to purchase at Teavana before they closed.

★★☆☆☆

Was excited to try this as a 50% off sample. I'm a big chai drinker but haven't found a blend from Adagio that I really like. Unfortunately, this wasn't what I'm looking for. It mostly tastes like cinnamon with a hint of ginger & *very* faintly of white tea. I double checked, and there is definitely white tea in the bag. I think it just gets overwhelmed by the chai spices.

This is better than I thought, to be honest. White and chai can be iffy for me because sometimes the white tea is too delicate for the chai spices. This is not to strong.
