★★★☆☆

this is just okay. i've def had better thai chai's than this

★★★★★

This is a delicious blend. Not as heavy hitting as Adagio's masala chai, but still incredibly flavorful.

★★★★★

Wow. Though usually a purist, avoiding flavored teas, I've always had a weakness during the cold months of Winter for Chai teas. This one is exceptional...smoother, coconut'ier and less picante than Masala Chai, it goes well with milk.
Definately in my top 5. A fantastic value too (check the price!)

★★★★☆

Very good! I like the spices that go into this. It seems more suited to green tea than black, though.

★★★★☆

Thai Chai is a tea I was scared to try because of the look and smell but it ended up pretty good. Chai tea is pretty cheap and for the price this tea was worth it. Although I am not sure how much I will drink. I think the sampler is a good choice just to try this and the other chai's out. I'm not sure if i'll get this tea again but it was still good.

★★☆☆☆

I was hoping it would be more like Thai tea, but no. There were too many flavors going on and all were fairly weak tasting. Not my thing, won't be ordering it again.

★★★★☆

Tasty - the dominant flavor is definitely lemongrass, and the coconut is more of an aftertaste. Hardly tastes like black tea, but it's still a fun flavor.

★★★★★

Very nice tea, with just the right level of spice to it. Enough bite without overpowering. I will buy again.

★★★★☆

Nice flavors. It is very interesting and goes especially well with coconut milk vice cream.

★★★★☆

Yum. The spice was just right in this tea, and the "bite" was reminiciant of some bold Thai food I've had in the past.

★★★★☆

This is a good flavored chai. When I first tried it with sugar and milk, it had a flavor resembling coconut milk, so I decided to make a signature blend (Coconut Cream Chai) to try to bring out that flavor.

I liked this a lot more than I thought I would. It's tropical without being overly fruity and the spice is perfect.

★★★★★

One of my favorites. Once brewed it smells so good i wish i could wear it as perfume! Nice coconut taste.

★★★★☆

Wonderful lemongrass note. This tea evoked Thailand to perfection.

★★★☆☆

I'm still searching for a very vanilla chai--this one is okay, just not my taste.

★★★★★

Tastes delicious! So lemony and fragrant. A very nice cup of tea.

★★★★☆

Good, very interesting... maybe I'm just not adventurous enough?

★★★★☆

Wow, is this an aromatic tea! You can smell the spices from a mile away! The flavor isn't as intense as the scent, which is probably a good thing, and it's very good alone or mixed with milk and honey.

★★★☆☆

Tasted okay, but something in the blend doesn't mix well with milk: it tends to separate.

★★★★★

A perfect tea for warming up with and watching a movie.

★★★★☆

Very tasty! The lemongrass and coconut were nicely balanced, and all in all I enjoyed it very much. That said, the "thai" definitely overwhelmed the "chai." This is a very nice tea, but not what I will turn to when I want chai.

★★★☆☆

The lemongrass in this tea seemed a bit unbalanced to me. If the black tea and the coconut were there...it was difficult to detect through the lemongrass. The main flavors are pepper and lemongrass. This was not a balanced cup.

★★★☆☆

For me this chai has a good flavor but the tea isn't nearly strong enough. I had to combine it with an unflavored black tea (I used assam) to make it more robust.

★★★★★

My first chai, I added a splash of milk and a pinch of sugar. Great mix of slightly sweet and spicy. I especially love the hints of coconut. I'll be ordering this again!

★★★★☆

I love how different this is. I haven't seen a chai with lemongrass yet and it make a great addition to it.

★★★★★

This tea smells like curry, which to me was rather disgusting. However, the taste is outstanding and this is by far my favorite chai tea.

★★★★☆

This is a good chai by itself or with milk and sugar.

When I first heard of this tea from reading it as one of the ingredients that somebody put into their Adagio Signature Blend, I was well a bit skeptical about wanting to try it but at the same time compelled to try it becuase of the description of it on the Adagio Chai Tea page. Having purchased only a sample (at least at first) I'm now anxiously awaiting TODAY my delivery so I can make some more! At first read, you wouldn't think that these ingredients would work as a Chai tea but it actually is very refreshing and reminds me of some sort of guiltless sweet coconut desert drink that is also great any time of the day. As always with a black tea I would not recommend going over 5 minutes MAX for stedping time, in fact I prefer only 3-4 which still give a great flavored brew without the unpleasant bitterness that comes from over steeping black teas. In short, TRY IT -- You will like it!!!

Like the spice but more of an afternoon tea than a morning.

★☆☆☆☆

perhaps i'm just not a chai fan but, of all the teas i have tried, this might be my least favorite. it has a harsh taste, and a hint of something that reminds me of lotion.

★★★★★

LOVE IT!!! I really took the time on Saturday evening to brew this properly. The whole process took about 30 or so minutes. I had about 1 cup of cream that I added to the mix that made it superb! Diets aside, adding the rich cream was sooo good. The whole house smelled spicy and fall-y. After my husband's initial, "you're going to make me drink that, aren't you?" he decided that he loved it.

★★★★★

This is a FUN tea. If you love Thai flavors, you will love this tea. The lemongrass adds an exciting tang while the coconut and spices lends tropical—but not fruity or overpowering—flavor to the cup. With milk and sugar it's a delicious drink to be savored.

★★★★☆

I love thai chai tea when we go out to eat at out favorite thia restaraunt this was very close.

★★★★★

Love this chai! The lemongrass gives it a nice fresh flavor, while the coconut adds a nice smooth flavor. Great balance, no need to add any sugar, the coconut gives it a slight sweetness.

★★★★★

ZOMG this stuff is awesome! The spices were less intense or bitter than with the traditional chai and the coconut flavour was well developped, the hint of citrus from the lemongrass making it stand out even more.

This is on its way to becoming my new favorite tea. The non-tea-drinking boyfriend-creature likes it too. :D

love the spicyness, the mellow coconut compliments well

★★★★★

Tastes AMAZING. It's a calmer chai, for those of you who don't like the overbearing flavor. The coconut sweetens the flavor, and makes it the perfect chai. I absolutely love it.

★★★★★

This tea is absolutely fantastic! The coconut and other flavors are wonderful. Unlike any other chai I've had.

★★★★☆

My first flavored chai and it's pretty good. However, it is missing some of the key spices that make chai something that I crave. I add my own peppercorns so I can at least have that bit of spice that I like in a chai. Recommended for coconut lovers (like me), of course.

★★★☆☆

I'm nervous about trying this tea. I don't like coconut, but came in a sampler set that I got so it's not like I intentionally bought it per se. I knew I'd like the other ones in the sampler so I hoped for the best with this one.

When I open the tin I'm even more worried. The only thing I can smell is the coconut. No spices. No lemon grass. No ceylon black tea.

Since this has large pieces of flavoring, I decided to measure it by the teaspoon instead of the industry standard of 2.25g/serving. I steep it in 6oz boiling purified water for 5 min.

The tea has a medium amber color, kind of surprising for a ceylon.

The sent when steeped is definitely of coconut... I hope I don't regret wasting this teaspoon of tea.

While I'm not a fan of coconut, assuming a person drinking it would like it does, I'm very glad I measured the tea by the teaspoon (it's more dense than 2.25g/teaspoon). Served unsweetened.

It's a very weak tea, but I'm not sure if I'd prefer it stronger or not. The first thing that hits me is the coconut of course. Second, I taste the lemongrass... well kinda... I really only taste the grass part of the lemongrass. Finally the spices, but it's not really the flavor the spices. It just burns my throat. There is absolutely no flavor of the black tea, infact because of the 'grass' part of the lemongrass this could be mistaken as a green tea chia.

My conclusions: Do I like it? No. Would someone that likes coconut like it? Probably. Would I like it better stronger? I'm not sure. Would someone else? Probably. Would I drink it again? Probably, if that was my only option. Would I buy it again? No. Serving suggestions: unsweetened, steeped partially or entirely in coconut milk if milk is desired, a touch of pineapple juice or a few (dried, candied, or fresh) pieces added during steeping? More leaf used during steeping? Maybe. I voted it thumbs down because I personally don't like it and I'm not sure someone else would think it's strong enough when steeped by industry standards, which would be even weaker than the way I steeped it. I also rate a tea based on number of infusions I can get and I'm leary I'll be able to get the average of 3 good infusions..

★★★★☆

Interesting flavors, very good as a mid afternoon tea with milk. Also good iced.

★★★★☆

I like this one when I'm in the mood for something a little spicy.

★★★★☆

This chai is interesting, and different from the chai I'm used to. It's good, but not exactly too my tastes.

★★★☆☆

Very good, but slightly too grassy. I think I would buy it again but use less per cup.

★★★★☆

This was good for chai tea, but chai is not my thing. Tastes like it would be good to have at christmas, but not really going to wake you up in the morning.

★★★★★

This tea is amazing, I didn't know if I would like it from the description, but the flavors work really well together. The coconut goes perfectly with the chai spices.

★★★★☆

The spice is mild, and the lemongrass is great. Tastes sort of like hot lemon water.

★★★★☆

This is quite a good spice blend. It smells fantastic when brewing; unfortunately, the lemongrass does not taste as strongly as it smells.

★★★☆☆

I bought the sample size of a number of these new chai flavors and was so looking forward to them, but I think what I've found is that I'm more of a traditionalist. Give me a plain ol' chai or a vanilla any day.
