pleasant enough, I like the spiceyness of it, but wish the coconut was a bit more powerful in this blend
So there should be nothing about this tea that I like. I hate chai and I hate coconut. Honestly. However I smelt the tea and decided to take it home with me and wow.. Just Wow am I happy that I took it home with me. This has honestly has been my favorite tea that I have got from this shop. It is great. the flavor is pungent and powerful. It sticks with you through out the drinking. The smell is amazing. It is a great wake up tea for the morning and a good tea to have after a meal. This tea is like drinking a cup of greatness with a side of amazing. The second infusion the tea loses no flavor. It keeps going. With small hints of vegetation flavor but a lot of earthy tones. This tea will have you surprised with every sip.
When I first opened it it smelled GREAT!! But then i tasted it and it wasn't that great. However with some cream it tastes much better. So definitely have it with cream or condensed milk like the others said.
One of my favorite teas. The spices are at the forefront of the bouquet of flavor. This is a welcome change to the day-to-day run of black teas. Before I knew it I was already out.

Has a nice hint of sweetness to it with a good amount of spice. There's a very refreshing something about it that I attribute mostly to the lemongrass.
One of the better chai teas I have had. It is not as strong as normal chai, but this works to allow the coconut and lemon flavors to come out.
This is a very laid-back chai which is spiced without being spicy. I think I prefer my tea without the lemongrass, though.

This is my go-to chai right now. Comforting, quirky, and just a touch exotic, it's absolutely perfect with a splash of milk. Careful not to oversteep it, as the lemongrass can be a bit overpowering if brewed too long. MMMMmmmm.

A light, spicy chai. The lemongrass and ginger come through strongly, especially at first. The coconut is subtle, more there in the scent than the taste. This tea is good, but not what immediately comes to mind when I think of chai.
Another great chai option. The lemon grass and coconut give it a very nice flavor. Reminds me of a coconut desert I had once at my favorite Thai restaurant in Dubai.
In the bag, it smells really good (and strongly of coconut!). So delicious! I made myself a cup immediately. In the cup, the coconut takes a backseat to a more standard chai spice taste. The thai coconut and lemongrass is more present in the scent than the taste, but the subtle combination is delicious.
Just like a normal chai but with some variety to it. Coconut is a nice touch and the lemongrass makes this a keeper...
This blend has a really great citrusy tang from the lemongrass. I haven't tried any other chai to compare it against, but I would say this is definitely one worth trying if you're into citrusy spice drinks.
Maybe I didn't steep it long enough, but I'm really not getting the coconut flavor I was hoping for.

Really unique twist on chai tea. I loved the coconut notes and my chai addict sister enjoyed it as well.
I couldnt finish the pot, it tasted like old moldy pad watered down pad thai. Though I did not have it with milk or sugar as others suggested to do, maybe thats the key with this tea. Then again I'm not a fan of Thai food either.
Now Chai tea is one of my favorite teas but this tea takes the cake. It is phenomenal with a little sugar and frothed milk. This is a definite tea to keep in stock!
A nice spicy chai, I like the lemongrass element. It gives it a fresh and citrusy taste.
Holy crap! The lemongrass and coconut in this tea is freakshow good. Add a dash of almond milk and enjoy. The scent is downright titillating. It will make you think you are on an exotic island and simultaneously make you re-evaluate your life (in a positive way) while granting you magical-ephiphany powers.
Or maybe that was just my experience.
Whatever! It's delicious and you will love it. Buy a giant bag and hoard it like Smaug hoards dwarf gold.

Love, love, love. I know some think this taste too much of lemongrass, but that's part of what makes it thai. I can drink this all day with a little cream and sweetener.
This is my favorite by far, and as long as you like coconut, I'd highly recommend this.
Very enjoyable. Has a nice coconut flavor to it with out being too spicy like some chai.
Not usually a huge fan of chai teas, but this was a free sample in a larger order, so I went for it. I will never be a huge chai fan, but this was very nice - citrus without being overwhelming. The taste of the actual chai wasn't very overwhelming. I added a little milk, and the flavors blended together smoothly.
I prefer a spicier chai and this didn't hold up to brewing in milk as I prefer. However, it was tasty brewed in water and enjoyed without milk or sugar.

This is a great chai to change off from the spicier masala chai.The mild coconut taste in this tea was very soothing and tasty. I didn't care for it plain, but it was delicious with soy milk or coconut milk and a drop of agave.
The fragrance of this chai is strong and powerful but it mellows once brewed. The coconut and the spices shine beautifully but work together nicely. My first sip was without anything. The spices were almost overpowering. Good with sugar, but GREAT with sugar (one packet) and a splash of coconut milk. Will definitely keep drinking/buying this tea. Wish I hadn't gotten a sample... PS I had read the reviews on this tea at Steepster and I do sortov get the soapy taste. Like the lemongrass soap my Mom used to buy. Not bad though. Is till like it.
I just couldn't bring myself to love this. It's not terribly bad by any means. There's just this bizarre after taste that I can't get over. It's a shame because I do really love coconut.

i love my chai's.. but i like them strong. all the flavors were strong but the one thing i was missing was the coconut.
I thought this tea was interesting, but good, upon first taste. It is a very unique flavor, and the name 'thai chai' is completely appropriate. This tea really grew on me! I have cravings for it often. Delicious!
The lemongrass overpowers this blend for me, and the lemony flavor is not my favorite. It's a nice, mild change from chai, but not really my thing.

This is more of a coconut and lemongrass tea than a chai, since the spices are very subtle, but that hasn't stopped me from ordering it multiple times. It's fantastic with milk.
This is a lovely, flavorful chai. The only problem I have with it is the coconut flavor is VERY strong. too strong for my tastes. I'm passing this on to my mother, who loves coconut.

This is quite possibly one of the most amazing chai teas I've tried. It's very different from what I'm used to, and I think that's what I love about it. The combination of cinnamon and cardamom I thought questionable at first, but turns out they compliment each other beautifully, although they overpower the coconut and lemongrass to where they're a little too subtle for my taste. The flavor elements could be balanced a bit more equally, but overall it's a really great tea that I will definitely be buying again!
I compare all my chai experiences to my daily cup of Indian chai, and this chai held its own. The Thai chai differentiates itself with the cinnamon, lemongrass, and coconut. The coconut definitely dominated the tea's smell, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it blended well, and evenly, with the other flavors in taste. The cinnamon provides a bit of a bite that is not too overwhelming, and I don't know if I could taste the lemongrass. I don't know if I'm switching my daily cup, but all in all, a yummy, full-bodied chai. Made with milk and sugar.
This tea is amazing. I really love chai teas, and this one is perfect for when you want something spicy, but not quite as spicy as a masala.
This is probably one of my go-to morning teas because it's a) a chai, b) the black tea base is smoother and not as strong as others, c) it's so warming on a chilly morning, d)and it has a lovely kick (courtesy of the masala spices) to it that helps start off the day. :3
