This is my favorite tea for anytime of year! I add coconut creamer to it!
I'm not a big fan of chai but this is good. Of course, I'm a sucker for anything with lemongrass... and I've been on a coconut kick lately. There's cinnamon and ginger, which I normally dislike, but they blend well with the other flavors here. I came out of this liking this blend a lot more than I expected.
The lime and cocoanut come thru very nicely like Thai food. Fairly clean tasting tea
Wanted to like this tea, but comes across as too savory.
I like it in small doses but prefer it mixed with other blends best. Alone I find the coconut to be overwhelming.
My favorite flavor. The coconut and spices blend well. I don't need to add anything to it, not even sweetening.
I love the coconut flavor of this chai. It's refreshing but still spicy, as chai should be.
I love this tea and wish I hadn't just bought the sample size. Lots of flavor and works for any time of the day.
I love all the coconut pieces in this tea. It is a nice chai. It sweeter than it is spicy.
Sampled this just for kicks. It's definitely got that distinctive chai taste, but has a lot more going on than I expected. It doesn't really seem as full-bodied as a traditional Chai, will probably go to the Masala for that. For best taste, take it with cream/sugar like people suggest.
I like coconut, but I ordered this expecting more of a spice tea with coconut notes, whereas it seems to be a rich, strongly coconut tea with hints of spice. A reasonable cuppa, but not something I'm likely to purchase as a go-to chai.
It's a very good tea. I would definitely recommend it! Very spicy if you steep it beyond the set time. But great with a tad bit of milk to make a true English Chai! Still can't wait for the masala chai -- cause masala is my favorite!
Very good tea with a distinct flavor!!! Pleasant.
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed this tea! A little milk and honey and it was delicious!
I had this iced and it was fantastic. Very refreshing after an afternoon of yard work.
Originally I got this in a chai sampler. I try to avoid caffeinated teas as much as possible, but this tea is so yummy that I'm willing to have the caffeine so I can drink it. It is a very interesting blend, I've never had anything quite like it before. It is not that spicy, if you want more spicy, I'd try the rooibos vanilla chai or definitely the masala chai, but this stuff tastes great!
I adore chai tea and the mix of spices in this one brightens up my mornings and gives the day the kickstart it needs.
I haven't had Thai Chai tea in a longer time than I can remember, but I could see myself ordering more of this tea in the future.
Really didn't care for this one. I am usually not a fan of lemongrass but after reading the comments I didn't think it would be an issue because no one seemed to mention that it was strong. It seemed to have an aftertaste and not a lot of coconut which lead me to the purchase in the first place.
I really really like the 'milkyness' of the coconut oil being released from the coconut shakings.
This one had me iffy for a while. The smell was kinda off. Doesn't smell like chai to me at all. But with some cream and sugar it is actually quite delightful. I probably won't buy it again though honestly. It's a good one, but not amazing.
Loved it, it was really tasty and produced a delicious mellow flavor. I enjoy the cinnamon, coconut and lemongrass- none of which is overwhelming but a really nice bend. I'll definitely be ordering more in the future.
This blend came highly recommended by my Aunt and I must say, she has wonderful taste. Although, I can't help but think that this has a slightly medicinal quality to it, the tea is certainly lovely on the taste buds. It's tangy and sweet, but not overpoweringly so. It seems to almost coat the tongue and when my sister was sick, I gave her a cup to help calm her stomach. The lemongrass worked wonders. Whenever I'm feeling less than my best, it makes for a good pick me up. It's far from my usual tastes in tea, but I was certainly surprised by how much I enjoyed it!
Coconut added some unique flavors to the tea. Fun change of pace from my usual cup of green tea.
This is one of my favorite any-time teas. It's light enough for late night, it's a great pick-me-up in the afternoon, it's a bright start to my day. Somewhere, maybe the blurb, I saw this described as 'pad thai in a cup' and it's such a perfect description. The lemongrass is bright and aromatic, balanced perfectly by the sweetness of the coconut and both of them upheld by the earthiness of the black tea.
This is fantastic when it is cold steeped in coconut milk.
Its a good add on to stronger black tea but alone it tasted too mellow for me
I was very surprised by how much I enjoyed this tea. I love chai and I love coconut and the two really blend together nicely. The coconut flavor is definitely present but it blends in nicely with the other favors. This quickly became one of my favorites.
This and EG Moonlight are going to be basically in every future order I make. The coconut and lemongrass are really well blended with the traditional chai tea and spices. This is my stress killer tea.
This has a very strong taste great tea for after dinner
I loved the hints of coconut, but the cardamom was stronger than I prefer. Better cold with coconut milk and some sugar or honey.
I love the coconut taste of this chai. better than the masala in my opinion.
There's too much lemon grass and not enough coconut taste
This tea is great when you remember to drink it hot. If you let it sit for a bit though, with sugar and almond milk it gets kind of soapy. Still good, just can't let it cool too much.
Certainly different from the chais I am used to having. The flavour is rather mellow and gentle which is nice for those that have a strong sensitivity to strong cinnamon scents and flavours.
Straight offers you a peek into the gentle flavours that this tea offers. Pleasant but overall lacking without the traditional sugar and milk combo.
I ended up adding three spoons of sugar ( 1 or 2 probably would have been better) and frothed, steamed milk which dramatically took this eh-okay-tea to oh-my-gosh-wow. Still not the BEST rendition I've had but certainly a less fat-filled replacement for my go-to chai latte that my household normally makes. I most likely won't purchase this particular chai regularly only because I like my lattes to have a more robust (read as: rooibos) flavour but I wouldn't object to getting it as a present. My remaining amount will certainly get used.
Suggestions:
If you're making a latte out of this, let the tea sit for a bit longer than 5 minutes. Since the flavour is so soft, it gets diluted by the milk rather quickly. Alternative is to steep it in less water than you normally would to get some sort of a condensed version.
I wouldn't really suggest this tea for the traditional steeped-in-milk style of chai as I don't think the flavour is strong enough to compete with that much milk. But who knows!
This is a fantastic chai tea! I like it with a little bit of milk or cream.
If you like Thai tea then you will love Thai Chai. Add a little sugar and milk, viola perfect on a hot spring day.
Not bad. Much better than I thought. The citrusy notes work very well with the spices and the coconut scent is actually what won me over.
Thai Chai had a lovely coconut and ginger presence. The tea itself is somewhat weak, even when prepared like a traditional chai, The lemongrass was a good addition to the tea. It could have used more black tea leaves.
I LOVE the spices in this blend! I usually prefer vanilla chai but this tea is wonderful with or without a lil vanilla flavor!!
WOW, WOW, WOW -- my absolute favorite tea I have tried recently! I love lemongrass and was pleasantly surprised at how that flavor came through. The coconut gives it a creamy texture. Made as a latte, with french vanilla powder and a long pour of french vanilla creamer made this a divine treat. Will definitely reorder!
Nice flavors and aromas. not overpowering at all.
Wonderful taste and aroma, I think for my next cup I'll use slightly more tea than suggested as the strength of flavor was a little light even after doubling the steeping time. But then, I really do like strong tea because I add milk which tends to mask the flavor some.
I love the spice in this chai. It is a little more exotic than regular chai, and I love the way the coconut and lemongrass soften the spice a little. I usually drink it with a little cream and it is delicious.
Im new to chai teas.. Could be better. Was maybe too society for my taste. Maybe ill use milk next time to enhance it.
This is really different. I was afraid I wouldn't like it. Somehow the combination of coconut, chai spices and lemongrass sounded wrong to me. I made it with my standard grass-fed unsalted butter, MCT oil and stevia extract. Whirred it in the blender and oh ... delicious. My new favorite Chai blend.
Has a decent flavor. The coconut is a little interesting (not very creamy tasting, can tell it is artificial) but for the most part it is not a bad tea. Glad I bought the sample bag. Probably not something I would order again.
So delicious! This might be my new favorite. Not too spicy and not too sweet on it's own. I can't get enough!
I surprisingly really enjoyed this tea! It had the zing of lemon to hold it over well. It wasn't super sweet, though I didn't mind it that much. I think the coconut really made it, without it the lemongrass might have been too much.
Nicely southeast Asian flavor here. Can definitely taste the ginger and lemongrass. Not too strong or spicy. Very nice!
