I was disappointed with this. I am a huge chai fanatic, and I was hoping that this would be a chai with all the charm of apple cider. While it did taste of apples, cinnamon and cloves, it was missing the body that it needed to bind it all together.
I adore this tea, I drink it with milk and sugar and the spice and apple flavors are just right, not overpowering at all. Definitely something I'll be ordering again!
Right out of the tin it smells like apple cider, so I was very appreciative of that. It was smooth, not bitter, and kept it's flavours up. I was most pleased with the levle of apple and spice, it was pleasing to the palate and nose.

After steeping accordingly, the first few sips were delicious--very much like spiced apple cider. But then my tea quickly turned bitter, and the apple taste almost completely disappeared. I've been having this problem with all the chai samples I've tried, except the Chocolate Chai and the Thai Chai. One person can't be so unlucky to have this many bad experiences with chai, so I've decided that other than the two aforementioned varieties, that Adagio's chai blends are just not for me.
This is a great chai tea. It reminds me of apple cider. Try mixing it with the thai chai for a more exotic flavor.
I always like Adagio's chais, and this one is no exception. Downsides: It's pretty mild and takes a stronger steep to get the apple flavor to really shine.

Just lovely brewed, but oh my goodness, mix this half and half with milk and sugar and you have a fantastic chai latte! I will reorder this for that exact purpose.
yum. that is all i can say. It was absolutely fantastic. I want to call it the 'fall taste' I mixed it with the irish breakfast which has an earthy taste and it literally taste like fall leaves and apple cider brisk walks. mmm
This blend left me disappointed. It just fell flat and didn't have enough flavor at all (glad I only got the sample size.) Even when I used more tea or brewed it for longer with or without sweetener, nothing really helped. Really boring and flavorless blend, but maybe I got a bad batch... who knows. Steer clear and go for the masala chai instead - that one is delicious!
I absolutely adore cider and chai so I had to try this tea. I was not disappointed. The cinnamon flavor is quite strong (me gusta) and it reminds me of autumn.
Not a bad tea in any way, but I felt like it was significantly more spiced apple than chai, whereas I had really been hoping for a good chai with just notes of apple.
This is one of the best teas I've ever had. It has a strong spiced apple flavor, though not as much chai as maybe I would have liked. That being said, it's extremely comforting and warm, and with a little milk and honey it tastes like apple dumplings. It's my go-to when I need a pick-me-up, and just writing this is making me crave a cup.
When I bought this tea, it was still cold out and I was looking for a coffee replacement. This was a good substitute. It filled the need for something hot in the morning. It had good apple-y flavor and reminded me of a good cider.
I did not like this tea at all. The cloves were overpowering and it was incredibly bitter. I would be very careful to watch the brew time.

Warm, spicy, wonderful. The perfect drink for a cold day. It tastes a bit like apple cider. I drank it with two teaspoons of sugar, and a lot of cream.
This tea is great, just the right amount of spice. I love spiced apple cider and chai, so I figured the combination would be delicious, and it was!
Smells a little overpowering if you're just smelling it in the bag, but the smell is amazing once the tea is steeped. The taste is great with milk and honey- the apple is prevalent, but not overpowering. The flavors normally associated with chai are there, the honey is a nice compliment, and you'll get a little prick at the back of your throat as it goes down.
Will purchase again. Over and over and over again.
I personally did not care for the overwhelming taste of apple in this chai. It tasted just like hot apple cider, which is that's your thing, you'll probably love this.

Not to my taste. I am not a chai person - they're usually way too spicy for me. But I still want to try them, since I'm not too familiar. I went for this because I thought it would sort of be more like spiced apple cider.
It really is a chai. I taste the cinnamon, but not so much the apple. I didn't like it straight, but when I added foamed milk and sugar and turned it into a latte, it was drinkable. I don't see myself ordering this in the future, though.

This smells just like apple cider in the bag, and brewed it's more mellow but I am definitely getting a mulled cider vibe! Less spiced than other chais, but a great change of pace--I actually tried this without milk (I always put it in my chai!) and it was even fruitier.

This just was NOT my flavor at all. I was imagining a cross between an apple cider with a tea flavor, but it had some very strong spicy flavors that I did not like.
Enjoy with a nice vanilla sponge cake, or with breakfast. I plan on keeping this on hand in the fall and winter! So warming and soothing.
This tea is AMAZING! In the bag, it smells like a spiced cider. The flavor is a bit less pronounced when actually brewed, and more of the orange peel takes over. Very spicy and sweet, good with a bit of milk and sugar. Also, I liked it iced-the contrast of cool tea and warming spices was very interesting.
It smells wonderful in the bag, but seems to be lacking in apple. Might be because I don't really drink my tea with any sort of creamer. I might experiment though to see how it changes the taste.

This was a very interesting chai. It smells absolutely divine. I could just simmer the leaves on my stove throughout the day to make my house smell good. The taste is not nearly as strong as the smell. You taste a very nice, mellow black tea flavor overlaid by the various spices and a hint of apple included. It isn't an everyday tea to drink, but it is a nice change of pace.
One of my new favorites! The first time I tried it I was a little disappointed because it was too spicy for me, but then I cut back on the steeping time by almost a full minute and it made a world of difference! I just got the sample last time, but I've definitely added it to the list of teas I need to keep on hand at all times!
I am drinking a cup of this teas as I am writing this. It is really good. I usually don't like chai tea too much, but this kind is not too strong.
Nothing special, and the tiny bits of spice and tea clogged my infuser every time.
