I love chai teas, but the spices in this blend are far too intense for my taste and nose. maybe if the spices were decreased by about 30 or so it would taste better. The sweetness from the apple pieces are present at just the right amount, but the cinnamon over powers everything. Perhaps brewing at a lower temperature would help that.

I got this for my girlfriend trying to get her to try tea. She loves it. I'm not a fan, I prefer black tea. But it was still okay.

This has become one of my favorite teas outside the fandom blends. It's actually become part of my smoothie making as well. A little milk, a little tea, a little fruit, honey, vanilla and you've got yourself a yummy apple spice smoothie. This tea makes me think of Autumn and apple cider almost.

This is a fantastic tea!!! My all time favorite from here. It smells like apple, but has a deliciously deep, spicy taste to it. The only problem is it can leave a bit of a strong aftertaste, but it's very warming as well.

★★★★★

Bright, warm spices. The cinnamon is front and center, but very well balanced against the rest. Lovely composition.

★★★★★

The smell is amazing, like a really good spiced apple cider. Compared to the other chais I've tried it's heavy on the spices and light on the tea, which is just fine with me. It also has a fuller flavor with more spices than just the cinnamon and clove coming through, though the apple seems to get a little lost. Make sure you add milk and sugar to bring out the flavors. I like to brew it with 1/3 to 1/2 almond milk and then sweeten to taste.

when i first tried this, i wasn't impressed. it wasn't bad, but it wasn't as spicy as I had hoped. BUT then i made a second cup and added MILK to it and oh lord, it became a new kind of tea! so delicious... probably my favourite out of all adagio teas!

★★★★☆

This was a pretty good cup of chai. I still like the taste of the thai and masala chais better. This is a nice rounded cup though. Nothing bitter, nothing out of balance. A little weak in the apple part, though. Nice job overall. It is probably hard to find apple that stands up to these strong spices.

This is good prepared as a chai latte or as you would prepare a normal black tea with milk and sugar. The apple smooths out the spices' rough edges. I like this just as much as the masala chai, for different reasons.

Being a huge apple fan, this one excited me. However, it was disappointing in that the chai and spices overpowered the apple, even though it smelled like cider. I tried it again with milk and honey and while this helped the apple flavor become noticeable, I still am not a huge fan.

Like drinking a cup of cider, and a light crisp breakfast tea. LOVE the flavor .

This is quite possibly the perfect cup of tea. It smells amazing in the bag, like a fresh apple cinnamon pastry and it keeps that scent once steeped. Add a teaspoon of sugar and it tastes wonderful. I may be ruined for other teas.

I was really looking forward to this tea and I do love it, tried it both iced and hot and I think I prefer Iced, but every sip I wish it had a little more apple flavor.

★★★☆☆

Pleasant, but a bit on the bland side. I'll enjoy the rest of my sample, but I'm glad I didn't get a full pack.

I've noticed that adagio's chais often have to much ginger for me. It's a shame too because this would have been delicious. If it had less ginger it would have been amazing because it brings a fruity twist to chai.

Most chai teas I use soy cream with, but I think this one is much better with just some sugar and no cream. Its a good change of pace from Masala Chai every once in a while. Not my go-to choice, but still very good.

Not amazing but a great tea for the afternoon that's for sure. Had it twice so far and have loved it. My first real order from adagio and I'm hooked. :)

This chai isn't as spicy as I hoped but the apple flavor is very strong and nice.

★★★★☆

I really want to give this a 3.5, but I'll be generous and round up. It was sort of spicey, and sort of appley, and it was pretty comforting to drink (I'd drink it again), but I felt like the apple flavor could have been better? Maybe I was hoping for more of a cider flavor or something . . .

This is the best chai I have ever tasted. The smell that fills the air as you brew this is quite intoxicating. Makes my mouth water thinking about it.

I received this as a sampler in my last order and it looks like I need to place another order just for this.

When I first opened the bag, I was little intimidated by how incredibly spicy it smelled. Upon brewing, though, I was pleasantly surprised! It really does taste like apple pie!

★★★★☆

This one definitely has a cider vibe. A very mild chai, good for those who are a bit wary of too much spice. I like a little more kick.

I am going to update this review because I have drank quite a bit more of this sense my last review. I have discovered that steeping this for 1 minutes is better, and I make a smaller pot so I have room to put in more milk now. lso I use a full teaspoon of honey in my cup now (my cup fits an entire regular size IngenuiTea pot). I have really come to love this chai. The apple flavor is there but isn't too intense and it has a nice spicy kick. I do not recommend doing a second pot with this however, because the 1 minute steeping time takes up all the taste.

I'm picky about fruit teas (even a small amount of fruity flavor) but this was perfect. If you're in a decadent mood, add just a pinch of cinnamon tea to the brew for a hot apple pie like taste and aroma!

★★★★★

I actually liked this a lot. I was expecting more apple, but it's still good.

★★★★☆

I haven't had a lot of experience with chai tea but this has a very lovely taste.

It's not bad, but it doesn't taste especially apple-like. The chai is a bit overwhelming. This could, however, be fixed by steeping it with milk, though.

★★★★☆

I love the smell of this. As a chai lover, I'm surprised how subtle this is, but it's still good nonetheless. I do wish there was more spice to it. For some reason, the flavours of this chai are stronger/brought out more when blended with other teas.

★★★★★

A delectable flavor that brings to mind hot apple cider and soothing chai. Something incredible to drink on a cold Autumn night with a really good book!

★★★★★

My husband and I love this tea. It is one of our favorites. The extra kick of the spice makes this tea. Perfect for a winter day.

★★★☆☆

Wanted to like it, but just not for me. I wish it had more of an apple taste. I prefer the vanilla chai or masala chai.

very good- the apple flavor definitely comes through, but I was hoping for something a little more spicy. thankfully, it makes my kitchen smell lovely :)

One of my favorite adagio blends - it's like a warm apple pie in a cup! Started with a sample, but plan on purchasing a 3 oz bag with my next order.

★★☆☆☆

Something about this chai was way off for me. All of Adagio's chais lack body, in my opinion, but I usually mix them with ginger black tea and it works. But this didn't taste right at all. I'm hoping I got a bad sample.

★★★★★

Warm and spicy, sweet and fruity. this tea is the perfect accompaniment to cold weather and a good book (or homework, as the case may be). The smell in the bag is utterly ravishing, and the taste is just as good. I love drinking it with Biscoff cookies or coffee cake at the end of a long day.

A tea I bought mostly for blending. This is a good chai, spicy and warm, but I could've done with more apple flavour. I still like it, but I had to add a bit of apple flavoured tea to a mixture to really get that element out of it. As a standalone however still a solid chai that will please any chai lover.

★★☆☆☆

I love the smell of this tea. If only it tasted as good as it smells, I'd be in heaven. There's a great apple cider-like scent to it when it's brewed according to the instructions. The problem is the taste puts me in mind of potpourri. It improves with honey, but it's nothing I'd order again.

★★★★★

I think this tea is my favourite on Adagio so far. The best way I can explain it is if chai tea and apple cider got together and had a delicious love child.

I love chai tea but when I got this one I didn't know if I would like it. The apple seemed to be overpowering but the flavors blended perfectly and I really enjoy this tea.

★★★★☆

I can't taste the apple as much as I hoped I would.

★★★☆☆

The apple flavors didn't do much for me. Kind of spicy, but I didn't really like this one.

★★★★★

This tea is a baby between two of my favorite drinks- apple cider and chai tea, you will love, love, LOVE it. DO NOT put cream into it though, it makes it taste so much worse than you-- or the tea-- deserve.

Practically apple cider. Completely delicious. Like fall in a cup.

★★★★★

This apple chai is very good, love it. Just the right amount of spices without being too sweet. Got 2 steepings out of it, both great with a little sugar and a little milk. Will buy again!

Nice apple and spice flavor, but the actual tea flavor was very subdued. I may try this again and blend it with a more robust black tea, but on it's own I found it disappointing.

I'm still undecided about this tea. I love chai and the apple flavor is perfect. The tea smells great, but when I brewed it according to the label, it came out a little too strong and bitter. I'll keep adjusting my timing and see how it goes!

★★★★☆

This tea smells really good, full of apple and spice. I wasn't won over at first, but I warmed up to it after a few more attempts at it. It has a nice balance between the apple and the spice flavors

It has a wonderful cinnamon apple smell. However, the taste isn't as great. It's good with a teaspoon or two of honey.

This tea was amazing. I loved the spiced flavor with just a little hint of apples.
