While I love chai teas, I was really hoping for more apple flavor from this. It's not a bad tea, but the apple flavor is just so mild you can almost miss it.
I am terribly disappointed in Adagio's Spiced Apple Chai. I was hoping for an apple tea with chai spices, sort of like a spicy apple pie. What I got was a chai tea that smelled like apples but contained no apple taste at all. Even adding honey or sugar did not produce anything more than the vaguest hint of fruity apple sweetness.
It's a good enough chai tea, but I don't buy something billed as 'spiced apple chai' unless I want an apple flavor. If the tea tasted anything like its aroma, it would be perfect. That aroma just adds to my disappointment in the flavor.
I wonder what this tea would be like combined with apple cider, but I could probably achieve the same effect with any chai tea combined with apple cider.
Very good. It's a bit on the week side for me, so I normally add an extra teaspoon and let it sit for an extra 5 minutes.

Not my favorite. It doesn't really taste like apple, spice or chai to me...its more of a weak apple taste and is just gross.
This is a nice apple flavored black tea, but again, it's not really spicy enough to satisfy my chai needs.
This chai blend is delicious! I wasn t sure how well the apple flavor would come through, but it really does. It s recognizably spiced chai, but that apple twist gives it even more of a fall and winter feel. Warms you through to your toes.

Very apple, very spicy. For the full potential, I suggest letting it seep for a few hours.
This tea is one of my favorites. I have ordered 2 small and 1 large bag of this tea. I have seen posts saying that it tastes somewhat fake or like plastic. I am pretty sure that is a brewing problem. This tea, especially, doesn't brew correctly if you just put boiling water in a cup and let it sit 5 minutes. This tea needs lightly rolling water for 5 minutes or the spice doesn't come out. In which case, it has a somewhat plastic/fake flavor. 203F is boiling at my altitude and temp is critical. Use a floating finum(or the like) in lightly rolling water. Excellent tea!
The tea says use 2 heaping tsp per cup. I purchased the sample, which is .8 oz of tea. The main flavor I taste is cloves, and a bit of the ginger. I do not really get the notes of the other flavors. This tea is okay but I was hoping for more apple and cinnamon flavor, and more balance of the spices listed in the ingredients. I might try removing the cloves and adding cinnamon and see how that tastes.
I really wanted to love this one more than I actually do. It is a good chai, strong and takes to milk or creamer well, but the apple flavors that I was hoping for tend to get muted in the brewing or when milk is added. Amongst the teas that I ordered in my last batch, this is the one that is taking the longest to run out. I ll keep experimenting with it to see if my error is in the brewing.
Overall, it's a nice cup of chai tea. The apple flavor could've been better blended, which is why I give it 4 stars, but it was still a good autumn tea.
This is a good tasting tea but it is on the lighter side. Honestly I feel like 2 tea bags would make the flavor pop more.
I like this tea, but I wish I loved it. It just tastes more like any other chai I bought from this site. I wish the apple flavor was stronger. The cinnamon apple rooibos is superior.
So far I m really liking this tea! It s a lot warmer than I was expecting, and the apple flavor, in my opinion, doesn t overpower the other flavors. I also added a little honey when I was making this and thought it really tied everything together.
Didn't know what to expect on this and we love it. We have the over the cup brewer and it looks smells wonderful to brew. Then the flavor is so wonderful that we drink it often.
This tea is a great blend of spices. It is a light cinnamon flavored tea. Very good!!
Of all the teas I've tried in the last 3 or so months, this is my favorite. I ordered a sample at first, but quickly decided that I needed a larger bag to feed my addiction.
This smells and tastes amazing!! I can even smell a bit of cinnamon anpole oatmeal in it. My husband, a non tea drinker, even likes it! I don’t add sweetener but a little honey would be good in it if you’re so inclined.
Tried this tea with a bit of half and half and a tiny amount of sweetener. Was like a creamy apple cider!

Personally, I don't think this tea is for me. I ordered it for the Chai aspect, mostly, and underestimated my own desire to drink Apple flavored tea -- which is not high. If you are a fan of Apple Cider, I ABSOLUTELY recommend this tea. It's fits in with the flavor and the Chai gives it a nice little something extra.

This is a very tasty chai, not the best I've had, but definitely something I'm pleased to have around. The apple flavors mellow out the sharper notes of the cloves and ginger and rounds out the flavor very nicely. Definitely worth checking out, in my opinion.

The only problem with this tea I can find is that I can’t keep it! Twice I’ve bought the 3oz bag, and both times it’s been gone within two weeks! I just love it too much! I bought the 16oz bag, I’m hoping it lasts a little longer!
This tea had a wonderful flavor. The spice wasn't over powering which really helped bring out the apple flavor. I only purchased a sample but next order, I will be getting a bigger size.

Oh this is lovely! It's so warm and lovely, and though the leaves themselves smell intense the tea itself is light on my tongue. Drank without milk, though I'll be sure to try it with milk soon!

A very nice chai. It reminds me a lot of masala chai, but with the sweeter hints of apple. Make sure to let it cool a little before drinking, it seems to have more flavor when it s not pipping hot.
Delicious, spicy flavor. Even in the middle of summer, a cup of this tea is delightful. Tried it a couple of times asmymirning cup and worked wonders. Not a strong, pungent flavor, yet bold and aromatic.

Of all the chais from Adagio, I like this one best. It has the best balance of warm spicy without going into the 'licking pepper' zone. And the apple is light and tasty.
