Maybe my expecations were too high? It's not bad, but there's not enough of something. I don't know if it's not enough apple, not enough tea, or just too many cloves in the sample I was sent, but I'm not thrilled with this one at all. I would try it again, because with the small sample we are sent for Communitea it could be off balanced from the regular blend.

It had a strong ginger and apple scent. The flavor and scent was warm with cinnamon as well. It was a very good spiced autumnal tea

Just okay, not my favorite. I'll still drink it all, I just didn't get much of the apple so it read as a very plain chai to me. Made my preferred way (oat milk latte) I taste a bit more of the flavor profile, but I wasn't super impressed with this one. Maybe I need to try it iced.

One of my new top favorites! Makes me think of all things fall. The bits of apple with just the right amount of spices, paired with honey makes a beautiful afternoon cup of tea

Great apple flavor, and a slight spice from the Chai -- big big fan of this tea! An especially great choice for colder autumn days

The flavor is beautifully balanced: sweet apple flavor finished with a medley of chai spices. It’s comforting without being overly sweet, and the spice blend doesn’t overpower the fruit.

Spiced Apple Chai has a nice blend of warm spices with a noticeable apple flavor. It’s a bit sweet but not overpowering, and the spices give it a cozy feel. I enjoyed it as a fall tea initially, then all year long as it has a comforting flavor without being too heavy. A good pick if you like chai with a fruity twist.

This is a wonderful fall and winter flavor that brings all the smells you think of that represent the seasons.

I really didn’t got any apple notes out of this. Just cinnamon and a few background spices. The apple was way too in the background and only noticed when it cooled to room temp

A very enjoyable cup, but I think I would have preferred just a little more strength to the apple flavor. Possibly needed to double up on the amount of tea for steeping. Would order again next fall!
Update: I did, in fact, order this again for fall. It's a very comforting cup for an autumn afternoon.

This is a good fall tea. I think I prefer the candy apple tea to this one but it was still warm and cozy

This is my favorite of the Adagio chai blends and my favorite spiced apple chai tea.

Oh how I wish Adagio wouldn't overindulge in ginger! I don't know if it was its combination with cloves/cardamom or simply overabundance in general, but I could feel little to nothing of cinnamon or apples under the pungent ginger flavor...

Good tea if you’re not a tea person (like me)!
Sweet and cinnamony.

Very delicious apple flavor with a hint of spices. Apple flavor is the main flavor which is usually drowned out by the spices but they have found the right combination.

The apple flavor keeps this spiced chai sweet and drinkable without any milk or sugar. A good, bracing tea for a work day morning.

In the bag: Looks just like the Adagio photo but with fewer bits of orange rind.

On the nose (pre-steep): Smells like a baked spiced apple dessert with a touch of savory, earthy spices thrown in for added complexity. Cinnamon and cloves are distinct. While other spices are apparent, it's difficult to distinguish them. Intense.

On the nose (post-steep): The sugar is gone, and thus I wouldn’t describe this as a dessert anymore. Hints of orange, cinnamon, and cloves. Medium to high intensity.

On the tongue (pre-sweetener): Tastes like cloves dusted in earthy spices. Clove is the dominant flavor, with cinnamon, cardamom, and a mix of other savory spices in the background. Almost no astringency.

On the tongue (post-sweetener): Sweetener has brought back a slight dessert vibe, but hasn’t changed the overall flavor profile. Not much apple, despite it being in the blend’s name — I had hoped sweetener would bring out the fruit, but alas.

Opinion: A good blend overall, but not one that I will crave on the regular. The flavor is overwhelmed by clove, which is not a personal favorite of mine. A stronger apple would have balanced and improved the taste. Also, I suspect that adding more sweetener would have made it more dessert-forward (and probably better, since it would balance out the cloves), but I don’t enjoy teas with cloying amounts of sugar. I appreciate how we can steep this long and high to maximize flavors without making it bitter.

Preparation: First steep 5 min, second steep 10 min. Both @ 212 ℉ (I followed Jim R’s recommendation to steep chais high and slow). ½ teaspoon monk fruit sweetener.

Spiced is no joke! This wonderful brew is very heavy on the spice factor, and I love it! I think this tea does best when paired with spice cookies to dip as it really helps enhance that spicy flavor. There isn't a whole lot in the way of apple flavoring, although there clearly are a lot of apple pieces, so they may just not be as strong in this blend as in others.

This doesn't taste much different from any other chai. It's a good tea, but the apple part of it is so subtle as to be nearly unnoticeable.

The apple aspect was lack luster. It doesn't taste too bad but you could get the same if not better results by adding apple juice to normal chai

Great Fall blend! It's only about half black tea so this is a great light caffeine option when you want all the fall spice flavor.

Bland, it was ok, but not very comforting. The apple doesn't seem to stand out as hero flavor. I'll drink the rest, but not buy anymore.

Its definitely not my favorite of the chai teas. The apple flavor is very faint, which is slightly disappointing. This is still a great spiced chai though. I could see using it for baking or enjoying a cuppa once winter sets in, but currently I am just favoring the fall flavors.

A little bit less spiced than I wanted but if you steep it extra long and add a dash of oat milk, it makes a delicious holiday apple chai!

Easily my favorite tea that I've tried from Adagio thus far, spiced apple chai evokes the feeling of enjoying a nice cup of warm apple cider on a chilly day! Brewed, it smells strongly of apples and spice and these flavors come through extremely well when tasted. Very balanced between apple flavor and the chai spices. Sweetens well with honey!

This is a chai with a strong note of apple threaded through it. It absolutely screams 'HELLO FALL!'. What a great way to welcome the new season!

I opened the package and it smelled great, I brewed it and it smelled great, it tastes great, this tea is great. Just about all of the flavors of the spices came through and I took notes about each one of them in the aroma and the taste. The apple isn't as strong of a flavor, but is very nice in the aroma and gives a nice, subtle sweetness. And I can definitely taste some of the tea beneath it all, always nice when it isn't entirely overpowered!

This is fall in a cup! I like that the cinnamon and cloves are not overpowering the overall chai flavor. I didn't even have to add sweetener and cream but I am sure it would be even tastier if I had. 195 F x 3 min.

Let me start off by saying this tea is not in any way bad. I'm not the hugest fan of chais...nothing wrong with them, I just am very rarely in the mood, and I want it to be made just right etc etc. This tea smelled, to me, like any other chai in the packet. Nothing jumped out at me. Wet, I was not impressed. Smelled a bit like wet dog! But after steeping (the whole packet in an 11 oz mug at 3 1/2 min at 212 ) it tastes pretty good. To me, it just tastes like a typical chai. If you like chai, it will taste good. The ginger comes through the most for me, a little spicy kick, which is nice. The apple is very subtle, I was hoping for a little more of it. This tea is nice...if you like chai! Also, it smells kind of like a Christmas store after brewed, so...that could be good or bad, depending on your taste!

Very tasty! I like it best with milk as I do all my chais. I found the prominent spice to be ginger

This tea tastes and smells like mulled cider to me. For a stronger flavor, use less water than usual. The flavors turn delicate (read weak instead) if too much water is used. Delicious!

This is my go-to when I am feeling like a spiced cup of tea. I love how it has a cinnamon flavor but isn't overpowering with the cinnamon. The apple flavor can be tasted too, and everything goes well together. I tend to steep all my teas for 10 mintues as I have found that to be the best time for maximum flavor.
