Not strong enough of a flavor, but good for someone who likes a moderate chai with a vanilla zing.
This is a comfort-food favorite! Caffeine free, warm in flavor, and so soothing...
I put in a little whole milk and honey, and let it steep for quite a while, to bring out the spicier chai flavors. Perfect for a cold (or grumpy) day.
This tea smelled OK, but the flavor was very flowery...I like vanilla and cinnamon to be the dominant flavors of chai tea, but there was a very potent flowery smell/taste that I did not care for. I didn't even finish the pot...

I LOVE chai, the spicier the better, and that may be why I was not crazy about this one. It smelled great, with good clove and orange scents, but was simply too mild for me. I felt that overall it tased too citrusy and I could not taste the spices enough.
This is a wonderful chai. The vanilla and rooibos blend so well with the chai spices.
This one was odd. It was almost hot spicy, like it had red peppers in it or something. It actually burned the throat a little. It still tasted good though! Very strongly spiced.
When I originally ordered this 2/10 I would have said it was great. 1 tsp/cup brewed 175 degrees 7 min. I just re-ordered and it's a completely different product. 2 tsp per cup of boiling water, 5 minutes. You can see the change about mid-2010 when reviewers are saying that there is not enough vanilla. Tea looks different, with very large pieces in it
The blend of spices was not what I was expecting from this tea. It is however, the first chai I have tried from Adagio. With some sweetener and milk the flavor was much better.
I really loved this chai, it's got a nice balance of spice and vanilla and isn't overpoweringly strong.
I add this tea to some of my black teas when I feel like getting an extra bit of flavor. Good blend of spices. I am just not a huge chai fan.
I didn't really get vanilla from this at all, mostly Cinnamon and Chai flavors. I did enjoy it, this one is definitely more of an every day tea than some of the others I've tried. Didn't fix it with milk, though I'd love to try that in the future.
I am pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this rooibos vanilla chai. I am a strong black tea drinker and have not fully appreciated herbal blends. This was suggested to me because I was looking for a decaf chai and it contains many of the same spices. I sweetened it a little but added no milk - it's pretty good :)
This might be my favorite chai tea that I've had from here. It's fairly strong, and well balanced. Good with milk. Worth a try.
Wonderful tea. Very nicely spiced. This was my first tea I tried. It came out a little weak the first time... then I read the directions. Much better after that :)

I liked this tea well enough, but the additives to this tea (orange peels, cardamom pods, etc.) were so large that I had a hard time getting a consistent flavor from cup to cup.

This tea has a nice Chai flavor, but it is a little overwhelming. It has a little too much cinnamon flavor. I will drink it, but it isnt my favorite.
I have never had rooibos tea before, but I think I am hooked. The flavor combination was amazing. I will be ordering this again in the near future.
I think after having a few different kinds of tea, I think I've decided that Im not a huge fan of rooibos teas. With that said, the vanilla is quite tasty.

I adored this chai, and I wasn't the only one. I shared this with others at work and they loved both the scent and the taste. The vanilla isn't overpowering and is more like a warm cuddly hug, and the chai spices are like a nice tingly tickle on the taste buds afterward.
I really enjoyed this tea. It is great for those that enjoy rooibos and a more subtle chai. I think I even enjoy this more as an herbal blend than the regular chai.
First off, it took me forever to find a rooibos chai. I now also have another one from a local tea place. The other one is good, but the adagio is spectacular! The smell of the spices is so strong and delectable. I love it.
The roobios vanilla chai was my first Adagio purchase, upon recommendation from Zack Luye. I was looking for a delicious evening tea, so obviously decaf, and the roobois does not disappoint. I've ordered it several times, and it has a great balance. It really is a favorite of mine, and I highly recommend it!
The smell of this tea while steeping was great, but the odor didn't carry over to the cup.

This is like the golden retriever of chai. It's friendly, while still being reasonably exuberant and unlikely to bite unless you do something really weird to it.
This is pure comfort tea. The intensity of the chai spice is mellowed by the vanilla. Great bedtime tea, or any time you need sweet comfort.

My wife really loves this tea. It has plenty of flavor when brewed long enough. I love the taste when just a splash of milk and a bit of sugar are added. This definitely benefits from a good 6 minute steeping. Highly Recommend.
I believe that I enjoyed this rooibos vanilla chai more than any of the standard chai blends in the sampler that I ordered. Sort of strange, since I am not such a fan of odd mixtures most of the time. I recommend trying it.
I absolutely love that there is a decaf chai. It makes a great drink on a cold night while I'm unwinding before bed. I wasn't blown away with the flavour like I was for the Thai Chai, but I imagine this would be great with steamed milk.

It's nice to have a decaf version of chai tea to drink on a cold winter night. The roobios gives it and added dimension of smokiness that black chai tea doesn't usually have, and the vanilla flavor goes well since chai is usually made with milk and honey.
I never thought I'd like a chai tea, but this is really good! I'm a rather picky tea drinker and have really enjoyed this one.

I actually liked this better than the masala chai. Brewed it with a touch of vanilla almond milk, and it was heaven. Really, truly was.
I love the flavor of this tea. It is a great late night tea or early afternoon. Brew it strong and put some half and half in it. Yummy.
