Vanilla chai was my first chai experience - I've had it a few times at various cafes. It's one of my favorite drinks. That being said, I was a bit let down by this one. The flavor is quite strong in the way that chai often is, but this particular one tends to leave a burning in your throat that I found unpleasant (even when using milk/sugar). Still okay, but not nearly as good as the masala chai, which I love.
This was the first tea I tried from adagio teas, and so far it's my favorite. Perfect combination of vanilla and chai. The vanilla isn't overpowering the chai, so it just tastes wonderful!
LOVE this perfectly balanced tea- not only is it caffine-free and more mellow than black-based chais, there's excellent harmony between cinnamon-sweet vanilla and spice. It's desserty on it's own and perfect with a splash of almond milk, needs no further sugar or honey, and has been my constant evening companion for awhile now.
I enjoy this. I just ordered more so that I would have a nice caffeine-free chai for the evenings.
this blend tastes like the mellow version of the white chai. the ginger and lemongrass is absent from this variation. i got a savory orange flavor when i first tasted but then it quickly mellowed out into the base chai that i like. i can describe this as being the mellow version of the white chai. no real strong flavors as compared to the big ginger and lemongrass hit i got from the white chai. still a good a buy.
i used 1 1/2 tsp in a teabag with sugar and a splash of milk.
This chai is like a more subtle version of the masala chai. The taste is smooth, and it would be great for those looking for a non-caffeinated version of the mamsala chai. I prefer my tea to be a bit stronger, though, so I'll stick to my tried and true.
I really like the spices in this tea along with the vanilla flavor. I especially like to drink this in the evening because it does not have caffeine.
This tea is one of my all time favorites! It is smooth and a little spicy, perfect for curling up with a book on a cold day. Sometimes I will add a dash of cream and it is perfection.

Purchase this tea for my wife as the written profile has many of her favorite flavors. However, I neglected to mix the tea after settling during shipping and neither of us found this tea to be appealing. She wouldn't give it another go, but I did and after thoroughly mixed I'd suggest this tea provides similar taste profile as found in the description. Another I prefer cold brewed as all the flavors have time to meld together.

This tea has grown on me as I was not a big fan of it when i first tried it. The vanilla is more mild (I like adding some cream to it to bring out the flavor) and I thought that there was more of a hint of spiciness to it, but I like my chai's to be spicy.
Great tea with fantastic flavor and aroma. Only negative is you need two teaspoons per cup of tea instead of one so the bag does not last as long as other flavors from Agagio tea. I really like this tea though. It's soothing and tastes wonderful.
Relaxing , comforting and fragrant. I've also added green cardamon pods to it while brewing - as I tend to love that cardamon! Great with stevia and milk!

Dang! I think I oversteeped this, so the spices were super strong and I couldn't taste much vanilla or rooibos flavors... but it was SO good that way! I needed a tea that would keep me awake and focused without caffeine, and the lovely bite in this one did just that. I can still feel the tingle of spices in my mouth and I'm loving it. It's a great mix of flavors.
all I taste is clove and no vanilla I recommend blending this tea with another tea to mellow out the cloves. I blended it with honeybush hazelnut and it was pretty good.

Compared to my favorite chai (the Masala chai), this is sweeter and not as flavorful. But it is a nice non-caffeinated alternative.
The smell of vanilla before and after you make the tea is great. If you like vanilla, this is the tea for you.
I only drink this when I don't think I'll mind the very 'busy' flavor of this tea. There are a bunch of flavors that seem to have a competition for your attention, and when you are in the mood for that it works! When I'm not I'll stick to straight up Rooibos tea. But it's good, try it!

Probably my favorite chai tea on Adagio. It's perfect for after work/before bed as it is a decaf tea. Just as good straight as it is with added sweetener/cream.

The chai spices are a lovely combination but all I tasted was them; not the rooibos at all. It could be good if you were looking for a spice tea but lacked the full body of a black tea chai.
I don't care for rooibos, but my family enjoys it. My husband enjoys it, but says that if you brew it for the full ten minutes, it brings out too many bitter flavors and is better brewed for six or seven.

A favorite here. No caf makes it a great evening tea. Some brews will be spicier and some more subtle. All are enjoyable.

Delicious. The spicy, robust chai flavor was just what I expected. If you want a meek and mild tea this is not for you. My only issue - and I'm nitpicking - is that it could use a little more vanilla flavor.

I'm a huge fan of mixing chai with vanilla, but this one seemed stronger on the chai than I had expected. Adding vanilla soy creamer helped a lot to make this one more enjoyable.
