This tea is a solid contender to have in the cupboard. It’s wonderful to have on hand when you crave a spicy cup of chai but without the caffeine. The rooibos adds an interesting, almost sweet grassy layer of flavor to the tea, which is a bit of an adjustment from a true malty dirty chai tea.
I enjoyed this tea but was hoping the vanilla would be a bit bolder-tasting. I'll buy it again as a change of pace drink. It was smoother with a little milk and honey added. Either way, straight or creamed and sweetened this was nice
Great tea! I love chai, but I have to be careful about not drinking black tea too late in the day, so I'm thrilled by this flavor! Not sure I catch the vanilla part, but that's not what I really need in chai anyway.
Warming and great for fall and winter, but it did have that bubblegum aroma I occasionally get from flavored tea. Tastes lovely, though!
A tad on the spicy side, more than I'd prefer, but not too off-putting. Still has a good balance there though.
I don't think chai teas are my thing. They always come out tasting a bit watery to me. Even when mixed with a creamer. Maybe I need to use something heavier than I'm using, though.

This chai is decent. It had a strong ginger, vanilla and cinnamon flavor. For me a bit on the strong side, but the overall flavor is nice. The Masala Chai is my favorite as it has more of a balanced flavor overall.
Very good. Warm tasting. Less bitter than a black chai, I think, and more pleasant to drink because of it.
Way too spicy, perhaps since it was a sampler package I got bad siftings. Perhaps the rooibos is too weak compared to the typical black tea used for chais, and so there is nothing to counterbalance the spice.
A full chai flavor with rich rooibos. Great way to get chai without black tea
The vanilla chai is great with some milk or sugar! A great warm weather day.
This tea is ok with a sweetener, nothing stood out about this tea that would make me repurchase it.
I like this pretty much but not sure if I'll order more. Maybe in the winter... I usually like a chai any time of year but maybe this one will be best for winter.
Update: I find myself drinking this much more in the colder weather. Loving it.
Quite nice. Just staring out with chai and the spices are there not getting a whole lot of vanilla could just be the bits I put in the infuser.
Not a bad tea but I would not get it again. To much vanilla
I'm not so big on fruity tea, but this takes my favorite evening tea, rooibos vanilla, and makes it a little extra special if I'm getting bored.

Love Roobios Vanilla! This is the tea that got me started on drinking Roobios teas in general. I buy this one in large quanities. Wonderful breakfast tea !
I was hoping this caffeine-free chai blend would be as punchy as the Masala Chai or the Raja Oolong Chai blends, but it's just not as strong when it's made with Rooibos. The flavor is still delicious, it's just very mild compared to the other blends. I am very glad I purchased it, though, because it's a wonderful treat to enjoy in the evenings before bedtime!
This is a great tea. My husband is just starting to drink tea with me and this is his favorite.
I don't know what is is about Rooibos Teas, I haven't had one I didn't like. Maybe it's the sweetness of them. LOVE..!

It has a bit of an artificial vanilla smell before steeping. Once brewed, though, it's great (although a little heavier on the cinnamon than I'd like). It's better as a tea latte, in my opinion
My first thought on opening was that it smells like the Oprah chai that Teavana used to sell. It also tastes pretty similar, but not exactly the same. The ginger is a little strong, which isn't my favorite. I also don't taste a whole lot of vanilla. Regardless, still a good tea for nighttime

I am not a rooibos lover, but was looking for something caffeine free so I decided to try this tea. It smelled like warm cinnamon buns with icing and the taste followed through. This tea makes a lovely addition to my afternoon collection.
I’m not sure if this one will be a repeat. Something about it on its own is hard to enjoy. Also, like chocolate chai pu ehr, if you smell the dry tea, it’s overwhelming and has a very strange scent, I would have passed on trying these if I relied on the smell. This one has strong flavor so I mix it with unflavored tea. I’m going to keep an open mind and drink what I have, it might grow on me.
This is a great chai! It has a wonderful balance and sweet and spicy.
I'm sure other people like it, but I wasn't a fan. I didn't care for the spicy chai with the vanilla - it was out of balance to me.
