I bought this with the masala chai and samurai mate to try and recreate the teavana samurai chai. It's fantastic in the trio and on it's own.

If you like a potent spice, then this is your tea. It definitely has a bite to it. I love Chai, but this is just a bit too spicy for me. The suggested steeping is 2 heaping teaspoons per cup. I had to cut this in half to enjoy it. The full 2 tsp was just too much for me.
I never liked tea until I tried a sample of Teavana’s chai/chai blend (with a bunch of rock sugar) and LOVED it. So when I discovered Adagio, I tried every variety of chai. This one tastes just like I remember, except it doesn’t even need any sweetening.
One of the best teas Adagio puts out. Unfortunately I don't get to have much of it because my wife loves it so much. Great flavor and nose.

Was a HUGE Teavana tea drinker and was devastated when they closed...however Adagio is a great alternative! Not exactly the same yet will definitely be purchasing more.

This is my favorite of the 11 Adagio teas I've tried so far. Great with a little sugar any time of day!I love the strong cinnamon spicy flavor and NOT a strong ginger flavor like some others.
Very cinnamon forward. The other flavors sit in the background. Reminds me a lot of Good Earth's Sweet & Spicy tea. Great as a cinnamon tea, but I am a bigger fan of the masala chai.
Alone this tea is great. Paired with Samurai Mate it is equal to my old favorite Teavana blend, for a fraction of the cost. A definite favorite.

In an attempt to reproduce Teavana Samurai Chai, I took the advice of a reviewer who suggested mixing equal parts of Masala Chai, Raja Oolong Chai, and Samurai Mate Chai. As I did with the Teavana, I added some Trader Joe's Organic Blue Agave Sweetener, poured in boiling water, and the result was a success. While not an exact replica of the Teavana target, it is quite good and an effective replacement.
This was one we tried last month and I really liked it so we will order it again.

Fills a void left by a certain tea company. Tasty and unique. When I brew it at work people comment on how lovely it smells.
Taste is very good and vibrantly varied. The spices go well with the other additions and make for a great cup of tea!

I ordered this tea trying to match up my favorite tevanna blend, well its definitely not the tea I wanted , BUT it is so much better. It smells very strong like cinnamon but it taste like haven in a cup. Hot or cold it will be my new favorite tea..
