Not for the faint of heart! Very intense, with a but too much clove in the mix. I will not try this without milk. My other family members didn't seem to notice though. 4.5/5
'Masala' means 'blend of spices' and 'chai' is simply 'tea.' Inviting fragrance, invigorating flavor, warm finish.

I cannot even put into words how much I adore this stuff. It's just phenomenal. I usually add a bit of vanilla almond milk and natural cane sugar to it and it tastes a step above starbucks while saving you $4.00. I love it.
I love my spiced tea. This is one of my favorites.mild in flavor but have great taste.
This tea was a gift for my aunt. She really enjoyed it.
I was a little underwhelmed by this tea. I had high hopes, and it really didn't deliver. I was expecting more flavor, and it just wasn't there. This wasn't a bad tea, but it wasn't a great tea either. Will I drink the rest of this? Yes. Will I buy more? No.
This is a great chai - all the fresh, full flavors you expect, without the crummy astringency or super sweetness you may get elsewhere.
This is pretty much exactly what I would expect a Chai to be. Great for Chai Lattes, but I don't like it by itself.
My husband and I love the masala chai! We add a little half and half because we like it creamy. It has such a delicate spice flavor that doesn't overpower the tea while still being very present. Delicious while settled down won a cold winter evening to read!
A very good chai especially if you lean more on the spiced side. The clove is a predominant feature in every sip. If you prefer to sweeten your chai then it is better to lean towards this one. If you are like me and just prefer to add a little milk and drink away, then I would suggest the Thai Chai.
For a chai lover, this is a must buy! It has just enough flavor.
Perfect for these super chilly days we've been having. I'm looking forward to trying it iced this summer!
I'm not a big chai fan, but I did enjoy drinking this with a curry meal my husband put together.
I bought this for my husband who enjoys a tea with a strong clove taste and smell. He thought this was just okay, he would have preferred more clove.
Very aromatic. Absolutely love the smell of this chai. It's spicy without being overbearing.
Amazing smell. Hearty and rich with a creamy finish. Loved it, will purchase again.
It was weaker than what I first expected, but it was definitely amazing. The clove taste was perfect, and it really made my day.
Very tasty. Enjoyed mine with rooibos vanilla chai
As an Indian, I'm used to drinking some pretty tough chai. I'm also aware that it's tough to compare loose tea to tea brewed with fresh ginger. That said, I still think Adagio could've done better with this chai... it's definitely got the taste of masala, but it's just not spicy enough. In comparison, Tazo Tea actually produces a chai tea bag that I've been impressed with.
Long story short, this masala chai is, in my opinion, nothing to write home about. I'll look for other teas in the future.
Very good Chai. Nice aroma and flavor. Great with milk and honey.
Holy Cloves, Batman! Not a bad thing, per say, but it took a lot of honey to overcome the strong clove taste. This would be fantastic cut with the Rooibos Vanilla Chai, I think.
Very good masala had all the right flavors and the cinnamon was not overpowering like most tea with cinnamon. Loved the spice from the ginger and cardamom.
Great tea. I had a cup today and enjoyed it quite a bit. Fairly unique as far as chai teas.
A happy blend of spices. I enjoy it with a bit of raw sugar.
This particular chai has very good spice notes that stand out even if you like cream and a bit of honey in your tea (I usually prefer my chai 'straight up'). It is equally good plain, and not overpowering. You can safely brew this chai light or heavy and get a very different and distinct flavor. It can and will leave its pleasant taste lingering in your mouth.
Very nice 'every day' chai blend. It was my favorite from the chai sampler pack.
I generally like chais as a whole and this one didn't disappoint. Not my favorite chai, but I'll keep coming back.
Best Chai That I have ever had. Wonderfull flavor.
First time I brewed this, I drank it 'straight' and it went straight to my no list. Then a read/studied some reviews and suggestions from the forum and tried it with milk in diff amounts. Hello! I still have a few mixes that I want to try. (Also, it is a little too heavy on cloves for me, but it is easy to pick out a few.) I want to use richer milk and will let you know when I finish experimenting how it turns out.
This is a particularly amazing chai tea that goes great with honey.
Wonderful chai flavor, spicy and earthy. Great with milk and a touch of honey.
Smell good. need to find a good balance of how i like this but overall pleased.
Love it! It's one of my all time favorites, great with or without milk
What a good chai. The smell fills up the whole kitchen. It smells wonderful. It is a bit spicy , and the clove is very prominent. I'll be buying this again.
I guess I am not a lover of chai flavored teas - its smelled great, but just wasn't as smooth or robust as I had hoped.
I was a little nervous to try it at first because I am not a big fan of Chai teas but this tea is wonderful. Great taste.
I brewed this with some almond milk, and for about 6-7 minutes. Still lacked a lot of the spice I like with my chai. Definitely not bad, but not my favorite one that I have ever tried. I'll go back and try once more with normal milk and see if it helps.
Hands-down better than any spiced chai you can get in a shop. Both the taste and aroma are strong, with cloves showing through more than the other spices in this blend, which I don't mind at all. Good both steeped normally, and as a latte.
Very flavorful--great brewed with milk instead of water. It's almost a dessert.
A very good and spicy chai. Flavor is strong, even after multiple steepings.
First, I'm not a huge chai person, so I feel this is unfair of a review. Still, I felt the spices to be very weak and watery compared to some chais I've had (not Adagio).
Very rich and flavorful. This is way better than the premium brands you find at the coffee shop.
I'm a big fan of chai in general, but I feel like this went a little hard on the cinnamon. It was almost the only thing I could taste.
Brewed according to package instructions, the aroma of this tea was intensely spicy and wonderful. Unfortunately, the taste fell well short of the aroma. I wound up adding honey and half and half to this (something I have never done) to make it palatable. On the plus side, my eight year old loved the creamy, sweetened version. From now on, I guess this will be a child's 'tea party' drink. I will stick with Ooooh Darjeeling or Vanilla Oolong.
LOVED IT. After having been to Zanzibar,(a spice island off of the coast of Africa), and having tasted their masala chai, Adagio Tea's masala chai is incredibly similar! I love the blend of cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, and ginger.
A big chai fan already, and this didn't disappoint.
love this tea,one of my favorites! perfect winter weather chai
I've been a giant fan of chai teas for a long time, this reminds me of what the Iraqis served when I was over seas.
This blend was wonderful...i had never tried chai tea before and started with this one. It was a great choice.
Smells and tastes great. This is good with or without honey but better with.
I bought this for my sister--she loves it! Nice and spicy without being too much.
