Added 1t of sugar. Not the biggest fan of chai tea, but it is pleasant.

I really enjoy this tea.I have tried many supermarket varieties and always find them lacking in flavor.I purchased the masala chai and am enjoying it.The tea leaves are large and provide a hearty cup of tea in each pour.I can usually get two cups per bag which makes the purchase more economical. I will be repeating my purchase of Adagio teas.

★★★★☆

A full-bodied chai. Great on its own or as a latte, though I found that as a latte it needed sugar or it tasted a bit bitter. Still a great chai staple.

★★★★★

My husband and I absolutely love this Chai. It is a great blend, not too much spice, but be sure to steep for a minimum of 4 minutes to get a full flavor. If a more milder chai is wanted, we've steeped for 3 minutes and it has been great.

I love how this has just the right amount of spice. Perfect with a bit of sweetener and almond milk.

I really enjoyed masala chai! It has just the right amount of spice. Be careful not to oversteep it, though! I find that about three minutes gives a balanced flavor!

★★☆☆☆

I usually really like chai, but this one is very strong when using the directions on the pouch. I only use half the directions and mix with an oolong and have gotten good results that way.

★★★★★

One of my favorite teas on the entire site! Good on its own, even better in a homemade latte. I can't keep it in my stores for long at all.

I tried a chai before and I did not like it so I was very apprehensive about trying it again. I gave masala chai a try and I must say not all chai's are the same, I really like masala chai! I like the spicy and tangyness of it. I must say this and Earl Grey Bravo are my go to flavors. I've even mixed them together and enjoyed it.

★★★★★

This is now my go to. I will be ordering LOTS more of this.

★★★☆☆

First time I steeped the tea at 212 for 5 mins and the cloves were much too strong for my taste. Second time 212 for 3 mins, added honey and milk and the cloves weren't as strong.

Mixed this tea with coconut and like anything with coconut, it was out of this world!

★★★★★

This is the perfect blend of spices and black tea.

This tastes absolutely marvelous! I've been looking for a good chai that tastes beautiful, and this is it.

Excellent chai! Perfect! I love the flavors in this- I have several flavored chais and I really like this one for when I don't want something that tastes like something else. Very spicy but not hot (like moriartea) or apple-sweet (like the spiced apple chai). Love it!

★★★★★

Great traditional Chi. Loved it and will buy again.

★★★★★

This is the best chai I have ever had! It has a nice clove tang to it and is easily customized with milk and sugar. I use goat's milk slightly warmed and xylitol.

This masala chai is sooo delicious..>_> I mean really I need to buy a bigger bag. When brewed perfectly and paired with vanilla almond milk, its like a dream in your teacup. The only thing that lets you know your not dreaming is that wonderful spicy burn you feel in your throat. Fantastic!

One of my favorite Chai teas. I feel like Chais often get diluted if you brew them in water instead of milk, but this one holds up well with a touch of raw honey and whole milk on top. Really classic flavor. I would maybe like a touch of black pepper, but I realize that's not for everyone.

I personally dislike chai flavors, but my friend who I got this before raved over this tea. He said it was the best hot chai he's ever had and cannot recommend it more highly. If you like spiced chai, this is the blend to get.

★★★★★

I love the spicy taste of this tea. Great on a cold winter night, when you want to snuggle up in a blanket and read a good book.

★★★★☆

I really enjoyed this chai. There is just something great about the spicy aroma that is great on a cool day!

★★★★☆

A little too flowery - cut with unflavored black tea

★★★★★

I loved this one! I heated some milk on the stove and let it steep for a while, added some sugar, and then strained it. Delicious.

★★★☆☆

I love Masala Chai. however, this version was somewhat subdued. Usually Masala Chai is strong and vivacious, but this just had a slight taste of cloves--not bad mind you, but not great.

★★★★★

For months, this was my morning tea at work. I'd order the teabags and stash them in my desk. It's just perfect with two packets of Splenda to sweeten it up. The water dispenser at work produced water well below boiling - and the boiling point here is already pretty low at around 205-207F! - hence the temperature I listed.

If you prefer a spicier chai, then this probably isn't for you, because this has no kick compared to others I've tried. On the other hand, that's what I love about it! This is the only chai I've had that I really enjoyed.

This tasted much better when I ordered it in the sampler, almost like a different tea. Not sure why this is.

★★★★☆

This one was a bit surprising I did like it though and may buy a bigger size later. Either second or third in order rating the chai flavors.

★★★★★

This is a very good breakfast tea. The spices are well balanced

★★★★★

a great blend of black teas, cardamom, ginger root. goes great with a splash of milk and raw sugar/honey. I drink this daily!

★★★★★

This is the best masala chai I have ever had. As a former addict of Starbucks variety, I am now able to make it at home whenever I want a cup. It has just the right amount of spice and with a little added milk, it's perfect.

★★★★★

This is my favorite chai tea. It's a classic chai and the taste is great.

★★★★★

The Masala Chai is great if you love a basic chai tea. I tried several varieties in store like the Chocolate Chai, but decided to just go with a more plain chai. For me, this has enough flavor as it is. Highly recommended for those who love hot chai.

★★★★☆

Chai tea is one of my biggest loves. Sometimes I like it made with sugar and milk, but more often I like it just black. I found that adding a bit of the Cream flavored tea to it took off the edge of the strong flavor when I made it black.

I love this tea! My sisters and I often go out for tea, and now we can make a nice cup from home (for a fraction of the price). I usually pair it with a splash of milk and a bit of honey for sweetness.

★★★★★

I love this tea!! It is a nice strong spicy chai.

★★★★★

We buy this by the pound, drink it iced and hot, sweetened or unsweetened, with or without milk. Never heard anything but good things when I serve this chai. Try it, you'll like it!

★★★★★

Masala chai is great chai! It is very strong and spicy which I really like. It is very similar to the chai I loved before I got into loose leaf tea, which is Celestial Seasonings India Chai Decaf. However, I like the Rooibos Vanilla Chai just as much, it's just as spicy with a touch of vanilla, but it has no caffeine! So, if you don't care about caffeine and want a delicious chai, this is certainly it! I add truvia and a teaspoon of vanilla sugar free coffee mate. Delicious!

Never one to let you down. Can turn a rainy day into a comfy day and a sunny day into a perfect day. pairs well with most spicy foods as well.

★★★★☆

Good with a packet of stevia and about a 1/4 cup of creamer.

★★★★★

This is my other favourite out of the chai collection. Rooibos being the other. It's my go to tea if I'm craving something with a little more umph and a little extra energy to get through the day. I prefer this one with milk but it's great just on its own too.

★★★★★

I bought this for a friend who is a chai tea drinker. She is very picky about her tea and absolutely loves it. I have yet to try it.

★★★★★

It is awesome! Particularly the hint of cardamom and cloves

★★★★★

It's hard to make this chai taste bad. It's your quintessential masala chai, and it's exactly what it advertises. Spicy and great with a bit of cream.

★★★☆☆

I did not really care for the taste of this chai. I did not like the flavor- the flavors I am used to in a chai did not work in this tea.

★★★★★

Spicy and sweet. Makes the whOle room smell wonderful. Very warming flavor. I add milk but with sugar it doesn't need milk.

★★★★☆

If you're looking to make authentic tasting masala chai without having to go through the trouble of blending your own spices, this is a pretty good base. I would definitely recommend throwing in some straight black tea leaves, because the spice to tea ratio is a little too high. It's also a little too clove-y for my taste, so I'd add some extra cardamom to counteract that, but that's a matter of personal preference. Boil the tea in a pot with a 1:1 ratio of water to milk until it is a nice dark milk tea color for best results. Again I must emphasize that you should add extra plain black tea to the pot.

★★★★☆

It's a smidge heavy on the cloves but still really good. Sometimes I will blend it with black tea.
