I like the spices in this one. It makes a good iced tea.

★★★★★

Seriously the best chai I have ever had (and I have tried a lot!) It's spicy without being bitter and has layers of flavor- good for multiple steepings too! One of the few chai teas that can be drunk without adding sugar, honey, or milk (though the addition of any of them bring it up to dessert status.) My favorite to drink through cold and allergy season- the spices clear up my clogged sinuses and the ginger is soothing to my inflamed throat.

★★★★★

This chai is both hearty and versatile. All the classic flavors are here and taste pronounced whether you're taking it black or with some milk and sugar. More likely than not, you're familiar with this tea, but Adagio drives it home near perfectly.

I got a pound of this 5 years ago, and it was gone within a year, but I didn't reorder until now because of my circumstances. I seem to recall it having more tea in it, or at least brewing darker, but this is still a favorite tea. It has a sharpness to the spice that so many others lack and is what I want when I drink a masala tea.

Just what I had hoped this chai tea would taste like. Perfect brewed with milk, or with a little milk and sweetener added to it. Very strong! If you're unaccustomed to chai/such strong spiced flavors, maybe go a little shorter on the brew time - you may even be able to reuse the leaves.

A good quality masala. Excellent as a dessert tea.

★★★★★

Simmered this with water for 5 mins, added milk and honey and simmered for 5 more minutes. So freaking good I can't begin to describe it! Spicy, creamy sweet. Definitely a Saturday morning favourite for me!

★★★★★

Love this, chai flavors are strong. Great iced or hot.

★★★★★

A nice, strong, flavorful chai, especially if brewed a bit longer. The spiciness is better than most chai blends.

★★★★★

This was a great tea that I really enjoyed any time of day. The sweetness is just enough to be tasty without feeling too much like a dessert or treat.

I've never had a chai tea before until today, and I enjoyed it very much.

★★★★☆

tasty tea with milk and sugar. Not really a tea you can have straight up

★★★★☆

Great for a cold day. The spice was a little weaker than I would have liked it to be but the amount used can be adjusted to make it stronger and spicier.

★★★☆☆

This is a very ginger-y chai. If you like ginger as the dominant note in a spice tea, you'll probably like this one. For me, it was a bit too much.

★★★★☆

Purchased for my mother (I am not a chai drinker), she's more than happy with it and we'll definitely buy again. (This tea is a dupe for the Teavana Maharaja chai she adores, which is waaaaaaaaaaay more expensive.)

I enjoy this as an afternoon pick me up tea. Refreshing even in warm weather. Sassy!

★★★★☆

I think this tea is pretty good. For those who have tried REAL masala chai, well, this doesn't compare. The flavor is weaker, and it isn't nearly as tasty, but in a pinch it will do.

★★★★★

Great taste, even my husband likes it and he's not a big tea drinker.

★★★★★

This is a smooth tasting chai. It is not too strong and has the right amount of traditional chai seasonings. I'll be purchasing this tea again!

★★★★☆

The first thing I noticed when opening the package was the rich aroma of clove and cinnamon, and after brewing the blend, I couldn't help but feel the cinnamon overpowered the taste of the tea. I decided to create a latte by adding milk and honey, which allowed for a more decadent flavor combination.

The Masala Chai is a bit too spicy for me. I will still drink it on occasion.Possibly pairing it with a dessert like pumpkin pie would be an option. To me it is definitely a bit strong with a rich nutmeg type of flavor.

★★★★★

I love this tea! It is so great with a drop of milk added!

★★★★☆

I love the spices in this tea. I have tried chai teas from other companies and most of them taste weak. This tea has a nice strong flavour and is well balanced.

very traditional. I had neighbors that use to make chai exactly like this. I am currently making chai alchohol with this tea.

Brought this tea to work for my chai-loving coworker. We both had a cup sweetened with milk and sugar. She loved the full flavor and balance of spices, as did I. Will definitely order more the next time I need a chai fix!

This one is tied with Thai Chai... They are both soooo good. And this one is very authentic. Just like tea off the streets in India when brewed with milk and sugar.

★★★★★

This has a really nice bold flavor. Adding honey and milk, this chai is great with only a small amount of bite typical of chai.

Love the chi it is my fav good on a cold morning or even a hot one.

★★★★★

LOVE LOVE LOVE this tea. Very strong, warm and zesty flavor!

★★★★★

I love chai tea and was looking for one that is similar to Pei Wei's iced chai tea. Normally I drink chai tea hot, with milk and sweetener, but I tried this one iced and it is very tasty!

Your quintessential Chai. Super spicy and wonderful, I tend to underbrew it and can get multiple perfect for me cups out!

★★★★★

I just tried this masala chai for the first time in my iced tea maker. It is bursting with flavor. If you like chai, this is one to try.

★★★★★

By far the best chai I have ever ordered. This is the tea I think of when I think 'chai!' Want to order 16oz next time. Perfection.

★★★★★

My very favorite! This is my daily tea. My daughter liked this one so much, I now keep her supplied as well...(9/17/14) - still our favorite!...(7/30/15) - Yep, still my all time favorite!!

★★★★★

I really enjoyed the flavors of this chai, especially the cinnamon.

★★★★☆

Very good - I've made this quite a few times. Great for after dinner/before bed.

★★★☆☆

Tea was pretty good but too much clove. Needs a lot of milk.

★★★★★

I loved the exotic flavor of this tea. Savory blend of cardamom,
ginger, cloves, and cinnamon. Made me feel warm and cozy.

Just the flavor I was looking for. Delicious when made into a latte!

★★★★★

I absolutely LOVE Adagio's loose leaf Masala Chai. I've given up my morning coffee for this great tea, and brew a couple of extra cups to use later in the day for iced tea.

★★★☆☆

This was my first time trying chai and I wasn't a big fan

★★★★☆

A very good traditional chai taste. A little bit goes a long way for me.

★★★★★

This is a really great, basic chai. I like to add extra cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger.

★★★★★

Delicious. Not as good as Thai chai, but good nonetheless. Like it, but will stick with Thai chai.

★★★★★

Pleasantly surprised by how good this chai was! Not only for drinking, but for steeping and adding to recipes as well. DIY chai lattes, adding the tea to recipes instead of water, and I can't wait for autumn so that I may drink this tea all the time. This is a new staple.

★★★★☆

There is just the right amount of spice in this tea!

★★★★★

This is my favorite tea. The aroma is so tantalizing. Makes a for the winter mornings. Pairs great with chocolate. Makes a awesome hot tidy and a delicious ice tea for hot summer days

★★★★☆

This is best with milk. Any masala chai worth its salt is meant to be steeped in milk and usually with sugar. This (and any other pre-blended masala chai) is going to taste a bit lackluster by itself, especially since there is the conundrum of not oversteeping the tea while understeeping the spices. Milk aids in cutting the bitterness, especially if you like your tea spicy like I do. So drink this with milk for best results. When done this way, it's quite excellent.

I discovered this in the Chai Sampler-- it is one of the best tasting chai teas. I have returned to purchase a larger supply.

This was a great chai blend. Perfect with a little milk.
