This is a pretty good chai. Still, not my perfect chai, and you will want a nice, long steep for full flavor.
It's tricky to find good masala chai because a lot of the intense flavor comes from the spicy scent in the masala. This tea does a good job of capturing that freshness every time you make a cup of it.
This is my by far my favorite tea at Adagio! There is so much flavor and depth in just one brew. You can taste each and every spice and the aroma is so fragrant and comforting! This is a high-quality chai tea from a favorite tea shop! Try this with milk and 2 tablespoons of maple syrup or honey! It tastes amazing! Blend this infusion in the blender to get a homemade foam chai latte! I highly recommend!
I really enjoy this chai. Its spicy and warm, but it still doesn't feel like my perfect chai.

I found my love of tea through Teavana and developed a love for really strong chai. I like this one on its own even if it’s a little light for me. I like it better blended with the stronger raja oolong chai.
This is a very bold, spicy tea. I knew it was going to be from the aroma of the tea leaves, but it still surprised me when I tried it. It's a little much for me, and I like bold flavors. It was pretty good with sugar added. Next time, I may try using fewer tea leaves than recommended (2 heaping tsp).

Had to play with steeping time/temp a bit. Add a bit of creamer, perfection.
This is my go-to loose tea as I love the spicy and not fruity taste of the chai. Consistently good.
Appearance: Very dark brown with a tinge of red, small amount of oil sitting on top.
Aroma: Mostly clove and cinnamon, small amount of sweet dark bread.
Taste: At first just astringent, heavy cloves on swallow, basically no taste of the tea leaves. Second steeping loses the astringency and becomes more cinnamon heavy.
Mouthfeel: Medium in the mouth and somewhat oily feel after swallow. Less oily on second steeping.
Overall: Not a huge fan. For how much tea you need to make a cup and how long you have to brew it there is very light flavor with the exception of the clove which overpowers everything else. Needs a higher ratio of tea/other spices to cloves, or a bolder tea to stand out. Slightly better on the second steeping but still little depth.
As others have mentioned, it's a little more clove heavy than my preference. But still enjoyable. Just wish it had a little less clove so it was more balanced.

I will say now it’s time to experiment. I like the chocolate chai but always felt that it didn’t have enough spice to it so I’m going to mix the two today to see what happens. I ordered the 16oz bag of Chocolate Chai because I can’t keep it in the house. My daughter love it (she’s 3). Any way tea time!

One of my favorite teas. I've tried many Masala style teas but this one just tastes fresher and has whole cloves in. I do add my own peppercorn on occasion but it's delightful as is.
Wow! This is a really great chai. I actually used slightly less than the recommended amount to brew, and it was still more than strong enough to stand up to cream and sugar. Perfect cup for a rainy, dreary morning.
To me this is the perfect cup of Chai. The spices are powerful but not overwhelming and give it great flavor.

This is my favorite tea to have first thing in the morning. The spice adds an excellent flavor.
My wife loves the extra spice and flavor from the cloves, which other blends don't include. The only drawback is the actual tea flavor can be a bit weak, necessitating two scoops and a long steep. We've blended with a basic Assam for a bit more tea flavor and it works really well.

I have been looking for a chai that's close to Starbucks Chai Latte. It's very hard to find a loose tea that has the spicyness and when I open my sample the spices hit me, and I knew I found my Chai. I made my chai just with steamed milk and heaven!!
