Wasn’t every pumpkin spice chai at all won’t be buying this anytime soon sorry
Masala Chai spices in an herbal honeybush pumpkin base. Beautiful clear and bright cup, and crisp, tangy-sweet flavor.

Wasn’t every pumpkin spice chai at all won’t be buying this anytime soon sorry
You can tell this is a chai right from the get-go. The pumpkin balances well with it, and the keep each other from being too much. A good tea for a treat.
I love how strong this tea is! It has such a strong spicy smell, kind of like those red hot cinnamon candies. It's very comforting, and it brews to such a lovely reddish color.
Love this fall tea. Perfect for the pumpkin and spice flavor without the caffeine.
Perfect for fall days. Will definitely need to try again with creamer or milk.
The honey bush compliments the pumpkin chai flavor so well. Highly prefer it over the typical black tea and pumpkin chai blend.
This has been the perfect fall tea. It is light but still flavorful and full of spice!
Not a huge fan of this one. I don't get much of a pumpkin flavor or a chai flavor.
I absolutely love this tea! It is exactly what I want on a cold night!
Super yummy chai that you can drink in the evenings, because it's caffeine-free!
This was a good tea, but not my favorite. The pumpkin notes were not super strong. I would go for another Chai next time.
Mellow spicing. Definitely no pumpkin flavor--more pumpkin spice.
This one is has such good spice to it. Definitely one of my fall/winter favs!
Really enjoyed this chai. We make a lot of boba at home and this chai is perfect for fall.
Another opportunity to have a piece of pie in a cup! What a treat! Loved it.
Mmmm this is fall in a cup. Amazing fragrant tea with a natural sweetness to it . Highly recommend this!!
Another great chai that I can drink and night and still sleep. Lot of pumpkin flavor that still stands out along with the honeybush.
I'm not a huge pumpkin fan but I found this tasty. My mom, who loves pumpkin everything, is in love with this tea!
Loved this one so much. Would buy again in my next tea order.
Light harvest pumpkin flavor, the darn cinnamon overpowers the honeybush. Tastes like hot cinnamon candy, not something I'd purchase again.
I love this tea! I got a sample of it on a whim, and now it is one of my absolute favorites!
This is very flavorful and pleasant, and my sibling who doesn't drink caffeine loves it.
I really, really love the smell of this tea. I enjoy drinking it as well, but I could just smell it all day long. The spice is absolutely lovely, surprisingly I don't taste much of it unless I add in cream. I do like cream in a lot of my teas, but this one I can take with or without. I usually add stevia, but this one doesn't need too much sweetness added since the honeybush gives it some in advance. I use 2 tsp per cup (as recommended), but sometimes I like to mix a teaspoon in with a teaspoon of chocolate truffle. It is a great stand-alone cup if you are trying to cut out some caffeine.
This is ok. I was hoping for a little more boldness in the flavor. I like that it isn’t heavy on the nutmeg as pumpkin spice flavors can often be. I just felt like it needed a little more oomph to round out the flavor profile. Not bad hit with so many great choices I doubt I will purchase this one again.
This is a nice mild blend. But didn’t quite have the pumpkin flavor
I was looking for.
This is a really nice mellow but warm spice blend. It smells more like I'd expect a pumpkin flavored tea to smell, and is decaf to boot!
Love this tea one of my fall favorites, great flavor
Me and my sister in law love this tea so much! I just bought her some for Christmas and know she will love it!
I wasn’t expecting to love this tea but I’m a pumpkin freak so I decided to give it a try. It’s an amazing interpretation of pumpkin spice in a creatively executed way.
This is good but wish it had more pumpkin and chai flavor
I don t think that I am a fan of honeybush anything, but I was happy try it. The pumpkin chai part of the tea was good and for me, helps it.
i love this tea it’s my favorite of all time such a great blend and flavor
add a little cream and you have a great treat. Great seasonal treat
wonderful flavor of pumpkins and chai. very well blended tea
This was a solid herbal blend for when you have the itch for autumn flavors
Well, after sampling this in the autumn teas sampler, I purchased a bag. It can be sweet at times, and I think I will try steeping it for less time to have the sweetness be more subtle. It now reminds me of the pumpkin potion that adagio blended for Halloween.
Very mild tasting chai tea with just hits of pumpkin spice.
It s a good caffeine free chai. Perfectly pumpkin spiced.
This chai blend is very tasty, but it's not really my favorite. I prefer the Honeybush Vanilla Chai blend -- but if you love pumpkin, give this a try!
Update: What happened to you, Honeybush Pumpkin Chai? You were the best decaf tea I'd ever gotten in 2019. I ordered a pound and gave samples out to friends. You wowed and impressed, but when I ordered another lb in 2020, all I could taste was clove. The clove overwhelmed every other flavor, overriding it with clove spice and finishing with the waxy bitterness of something with far too much clove in it.
Contacting support, they told me that the entire batch was made all at once but that they'd send me a replacement. Upon opening the replacement bag, the same issue was readily apparent. This year's batch of Honeybush Pumpkin Chai has been cloved to death, much to my chagrin! Perhaps 2021 will be a better year to order it.
Original review: Don t hesitate to buy this. It s strong, and the instructions may lead to something overpowering. I brewed 2 teaspoons for a 12oz glass mug, added milk and two sugar cubes, and ended up with a new favorite. The flavor is intriguing and warrants slowing down to enjoy. I wasn't paying attention to the tea when I took my first sip and wondered why I was tasting banana. That woke me up enough to pay attention for the second sip. The flavor of honeybush with pumpkin is nuanced and demands slowing down to appreciate it!
A delightfully balanced and subtle chai - a little ginger heavy, but still softer than other Adagio chais. Not much in the way of real pumpkin flavor
Blended great with rooibos vanilla chai. Surprisingly did not go well with the pumpkin chai. Wonderful fall tea, definitely got the pumpkin flavor.
One of my favorite teas. I love honeybush teas. Perfect fall tea.
I wanted to love this so much but the clove drowned out all the other flavors for this one! While I do enjoy a good clove taste, I was bummed that other flavors didn t express and I didn t get pumpkin or even pumpkin spice from this at all!
Not as pumpkin as I expected, but it's a great late-day fall tea! With the honeybush as the base tea, I love that I can have a cup at night to warm me up without keeping my up all night.
Love the pumpkin with the chai! Definitely recommend!
This tea is wonderful on its own, or mixed with the Pumpkin Spice!!
Update: I changed my rating from 3 to 5 stars. I finally gave it another try, and with alterations to the prep method came up with a very tasty result. I used a little more than 1-1/2 tsps, brewed longer than I did the first time, and added a bit of maple sugar. I still don't think it has a pumpkin flavor, but I'm not getting the same banana flavor brewed this way. It is a delicious, spicy chai that isn't completely overwhelmed by the cinnamon (which most other chai's I've tried on here are to me). And it is caffeine free, which makes it a great cold weather, cozy evening tea.
Original review (Sept 2019): This tea was good, but tasted more like it had bananas in it than pumpkin. I wouldn't turn to this to settle a pumpkin spice craving.
Very delicious! More chai than pumpkin, and definitely has that spicy kick to it. I recommend it for everyone who loves chai tea.
Update: Brew this with 2 tsp instead of 1, for 7-10 min. It's an absolute game changer. This is a tea that needs to be brewed strong, or else you lose all the subtle nuances that make this tea so delicious and comforting.
Nice, mellow blend that s well-spiced and has a great aroma. My main issue with it is that it really doesn't have the body I want it to-- it s fairly weak, even after brewing for 10 mins, so I find that I need to add more tea per cup to make up for that. Otherwise, great tea if you love a night cup, but want something a bit more interesting than just your run of the mill chamomile.
