My Chai town just happily increased by one. This perfect no caff spicy sip is a cozy evening one for me. Those chai zings always delight and honeybush with its sweet and wee bit earthy tea base offers no bite of its own. It lets those pumpkin spices reign free to be enjoyed.

My CT packet with its generous gingery/cinnamon aroma had 3 g/2 tsp of festive tea ingredients with bright orange safflowers and chai brown and beige spicy bits on a bed of H.B. tea. I like strong chai so I brewed 12 oz. at 212*F for 10 min. and resteeped 6 oz. for about 17 minutes. Some sweetening with agave emboldened the chai spices for a stronger taste of ginger, cinnamon and cardamom. The cocoa nibs stayed quiet but I noticed them more in the aftertaste of the resteep. The pumpkin flavor was the most present in the chilled mini cup I tasted from the first steep. Best of all, I can enjoy a cup of this tasty chai then off to dreamland at the drop of a snore.

This is a hot cinnamon forward, slightly sweet spiced honeybush. It's definitely fitting for Fall.

The round, toasty honeybush is a nice complement to the hinting at pumpkin/tasty pumpkin pie spice. No overly sweet cinnamon candy notes, common in so many spiced teas. Surprisingly good cold.

This is a lovely no-caffeine chai. Perfect for a cool evening tea. I didn’t brew it strong enough the first time and would have liked it doubled with a little milk. The spices are just right and each sip invites the next one.

I've had this both with goodies (sugar and creamer) and without. I like it both ways. This may be better than pumpkin spice tea. A recommend for anyone who can't have caffeine.

Chai spice scents burst out of today's packet as it tore open. An herbal steep at 212°F for 7 minutes created a light burnt orange colored tisane.

Pumpkin pie spice flavors were present alongside mildly nutty honeybush. Ginger zings and cinnamon spice linger on the finish. A mild cardamom flavor is detectable, with plenty of cocoa nibs.

Adding some sweetened pumpkin spice almond creamer to this blend really amped up the spice levels and got it closer towards a true pumpkin spice chai flavor.

For a light herbal chai, this is a great zero caffeine option. Perfect for a nighttime treat.

Wonderful cup of comfort for a chilly Fall evening! I love the honeybush base because it’s sweet and caffeine free. The pumpkin flavor hid when hot, but came out with a splash of cream.

Sipping along with the CommuniTEA: Strong cinnamon and ginger scents wafting from the dry ingredients and packet. Once steeped from 5 mins at 212°F, I notice mainly cinnamon with cardamom on the nose of my cup. When I take a sip, I am getting mainly cinnamon with some ginger and cardamom. No discernible cocoa nibs in my packet, but this tea is very good without it.

This blend demands sweetener and cream of some sort imo. On it's own it's just so-so. It has a decent spice but there is some other flavor that i'm just not liking. However when made into a latte it become much more palatable.

This blend is very similar to the black tea based Pumpkin Spice blend, but the honeybush ensures a smooth, slightly sweet, and less tannic experience. I like both, because I really like this blend of spices. I love that this option is available so we can have pumpkin spice flavor in herbal blends!

This is a fall decaf dream! I love the harvest time flavors of cinnamon, spice and all things nice but they are usually paired with black tea, which I can’t have much of. This blend delivers all the autumn goodness and I can drink it whenever I please. My fall anthem would be yum, yum, it zings on my tongue! Happy Sipping!

Oh this was such a lovely cup of tea! Honeybush is one of my favorite adagio revelations and this does not disappoint. The spices are well balanced, and I appreciate a chai that isn’t clove heavy. Since it’s honeybush, I can start or end a day with this one!

16 Oct 20 communiTEA review: Nutty, chai and pumpkin spice aromas were noted from my CommuniTEA packet. Attractive red safflower threads were lookin’ pretty and gitten’ ready give it up! When hot, a slight cloudiness was seen in the cup. When warm, ginger zings, zesty menthol cardamom tastes and pumpkin spice flavors added to the overall Fall-like spiciness. The Honeybush provided an overall nuttiness. Since this tea probably doesn’t contain any real pumpkin, I feel that the cocoa nibs may have added a pleasant buttery smoothness along with the Honeybush to provide a mild pumpkin-like grainy taste. The cocoa nibs definitely added to the cloudiness and slightly bitter aftertaste. A bit of brown sugar was added to tone that down and intensify the cocoa notes. There wasn’t enough safflower to affect the taste and the poor things didn’t survive the heat anyway! A second steep didn’t quite pass the muster, tho. I did a longer steep since this was a chai blend in need of some spicy forwardness ... It really brought out the flavors nicely. This was a pleasant and nicely blended Fall sip! (8 mins @ 212ºF, 1/4 tsp brown sugar)

I used to think I didn't like honeybush teas, but Adagio is slowly but surely changing my mind. Chai is my favourite tea, but its high caffeine content's always a problem for me. This is a great substitute!

Edited to add: This tea is a staple now in my life, I drink it almost everyday, I always add a dot of honey and have been using 1tbsp of califa farms vegan creamers in either pumpkin or carmel pecan, I will never be without this tasty tea🖤🎃🖤
This tea is absolutely delightful, the spiciness of the ginger and cinnamon dance across an undertone of pumpkin. Brewing it made my entire house smell like fall, or big red gum as I was told, I added a small amount of raw honey and it made it absolutely perfect. Will try to make a latte with it soon, very very good.

I only had a sample pack to try. My packet was almost pure cinnamon with a little bit of tea. I think this would be a good tea if you get all the ingredients such as cocoa nibs, ginger, and cardamom.

Nice mild chai flavors in this blend. I think it's the cinnamon and cardamom that's most prominent in my cup, with a hint of pumpkin spice flavor. It has a funny aftertaste that keeps me from giving it a 4th star. Good fall flavors, but not my favorite blend for the season.

★★★★☆

Immediately out of the pouch, I was hit by the overwhelming scent of cinnamon. When brewed, it's a very light flavor, sweet, predominantly cinnamon with traces of pumpkin spice. It was a nice, fall flavor, but it doesn't really taste like a chai to me, especially because I almost feel like adding milk might overpower it.

★★★★★

I love this tea SO MUCH. With a bit of milk and honey added, it’s far superior to the PSL.

★★☆☆☆

I have tried this tea by itself and mixed with others and I have to say it has a strange aftertaste that for me tastes slightly bitter or rotten. It might have been my sample but even with rock, granulated white and brown sugar the aftertaste is still there. The tea tastes decent of not 'spicy' spices until the aftertaste hits.

I love Chai tea and Rooibos/Honeybush are by far my favorite types of tea, so I figured I'd give this a try. My hope was that I'd enjoy this tea as much as the Rooibos Vanilla Chai, but I'm having a hard time comparing the two. In this tea, cinnamon is the predominant spice with the cardamom and ginger being almost undetectable. The spicy heat that I enjoy in the Vanilla Rooibos Chai just isn't present in the tea, most likely because there isn't any clove present in the mix. If there was one thing I could change about this tea, it would be to cut down on the cinnamon and throw in some cloves for spiciness.

When I opened the bag and smelled the contents, I was afraid I might dislike it because it smelled like a mix of cinnamon gum and cough syrup. Fortunately, the flavor is mild once the tea is brewed, and there is a very slight hint of pumpkin in the aftertaste. Overall, it's a good tea, but I can't say that it is excellent. Personally, I enjoy it more than the Honeybush Banana Nut but not quite as much as the Rooibos Vanilla Chai.

This is a new favorite. My husband made my cup and said it smelled like fall, so he decided to try it too. We both LOVED it. It tastes like chai, but without the caffein. I didn't notice too strong of 'pumpkin' flavors, though. But that was okay with me.
