Love Love Love this tea. I, like many others, made this into a latte. I used unsweetened almond milk and a touch of vanilla extract. I steeped it according to directions. One of my favorite evening teas.

Been looking for a great blend like this of tumeric and spice since my favorite from another source was discontinued during COVID. Now I finally have a good golden milk base with great flavor just like I used to!

I love a good chai, but typically drink it in the evening when I can’t tolerate the caffeine. I’m not a fan of rooibos, so I decided to give this one a try. Wow! The chai spices work surprisingly well along with the turmeric. Warm, earthy, aromatic. This is a definite rebuy

This is the best tea ever, I just quit drinking coffee and needed something to replace it with no caffeine OMG !!! I love it

I typically love chai blends, and I enjoy tumeric for its flavor and health benefits, so I decided to give this tea a try. Unfortunately, it was spicy to the point of bitterness, making the tea almost undrinkable to my personal palate. However, I didn't want to be wasteful, so I began experimenting. Eventually I found a suitable blend - 2 1/2 rounded tsp of Tumeric Bliss and 1/2 tsp of Golden Tumeric Chai (w/ peppercorns removed.) I brew it for 6-7 min, add some sugar, and usually wind up with a pleasant flavor that I can enjoy hot or cold. I don't think I'll buy this blend again, but I'm glad I was able to find a way to enjoy it rather than wasting it. :)

Good chai. I love the turmeric in the tea. It was flavorful and strong. The color was nice and lots of bits in the tea.

This is absolutely scrumptious made 'golden milk' style, so brewed in straight milk, with a touch of honey. I simmered it as I would a regular chai, and did find that it cannot handle that -- it needs to be strained after 10 mins tops, or the spicy and bitter flavors start overpowering the others.

This reminds me of some tea blends I’ve had in India. Like for turmeric is a must to enjoy this one.

This tea has a subtle but complex flavor. The turmeric notes are definite but mild; clove is more subtle than in some other Adagio mixes.

I want to love this tea, but can't go that far. Adding milk seemed to do nothing, which is odd given the history of this tea. Will try my next batch steeped in milk.

This tea was absolutely delicious with a touch of milk and sugar. Such a nice relaxing tea. Will definitely be ordering more

I found that I needed to steep this beyond the recommended time for it to not taste weak to me, especially if I chose to make a chai latte with it. The flavors are very pleasant, somewhat earthy, but not as intense as I would like.

Just enough Chi to taste great and we all know the Turmeric is very good for us. It’s a win, win tea.

This is my favorite turmeric tea, although also use the other turmeric tea that Adagio sells. I would agree with the description, it has a nice savory flavor

Strongly flavored, turmeric isn't my favorite spice, but it's as advertised, and this is a great tea for those icky days when you aren't feeling well or need a little pick-me-up and don't want caffeine. Great for stomach ills.

Turmeric is great for digestion so I love turmeric teas. This one is great for chai fans. Hot or cold, this tea is great

★★★★☆

I purchased a sample bag of Golden Turmeric Chai because I love chai and I love turmeric.
It is certainly is earthy, but I was waiting for the promised spiciness of ginger, cinnamon, clove and fennel to dance on my tongue, but to no avail. I even added honey and a touch of cream to see if the flavours would come out. I am giving this 4 stars because I believe in this tea. It has all the potential in its ingredients of a fantastic herbal tea. I will play around with it and get back to you.

This is a favourite for two of my daughters. They drink it with a tip of honey and oat milk. I now keep it stocked for when they come to visit.

This is one of my favorites, and I used to make it from my own ingredients. Much easier to prepare this pre-mixed version.

Wow, this tea hit me hard with a very peppery and a strong ginger taste. I brewed it at 195 for 3-4 minutes. The initial taste was very woodsy but that did settle down a bit after about 5-10 minutes in a double walled vacuum travel cup. However, the pepper and ginger burns are still there. Im
going to leave it in my sealed mug overnight, reheat it a bit in the morning, add some half and half or some sweetened condensed milk, froth it up, and give it another try.

Another truth in advertising tea. Nice chai taste with a bunch of turmeric. Quality tea but not one I see myself ordering again.

This was a decent tea - the pepper was a bit spicy in flavor but the kick from it was manageable. I’d try it again but likely not buy a packet - too many others I want!

Turmeric has always had a peppery mustard taste to me. I didn't know how this would turn out in tea but it's not bad at all. I added sweetner and cream to mine and it seemed to balance out all that spiciness.

CommuniTEA portion: 212 brew for 5 minutes. I will start by saying I am a fan of chai and tumeric and golden milks. The flavors were nice but I wanted more of them. Or maybe less of the fennel? This tea by itself was enjoyable enough but I would like another go with milk of some sort. The adventures continue!

Sweet and spicy chai flavors pair perfectly with the earthy, peppery flavor of turmeric! This cup is incredibly cozy. I think this one definitely needs to be latte-fied for a sweet twist!

This tea had a good spice from the chai along with an unsurprisingly strong turmeric taste. I'm not huge on turmeric, but the chai spices helped add more to the flavor where it was more enjoyable. Fennel was another flavor that was surprisingly strong here, so do be aware of that when looking at this blend if that isn't something you'd normally like.

I was surprised to not like this as I love chai, ginger, pretty much everything in this, but for some reason my cup just didn't taste right. It was honestly 99% pepper and little else, which made it hard to enjoy or try to dress over. Maybe it was just my packet, maybe it's just not for me.

1/2/21 - Lovely spicy scent upon opening my tea packet. All spices present -- fennel seed, cloves, ginger, tumeric and cinnamon. At first taste it was a bit strong for me -- tumeric is a very strong spice. I was out of almond or coconut milk and can't have cow's milk...so I experimented. I sweetened with stevia and then added just a bit of my fav non-dairy coffee creamer. OMG -- this is SO good!! I don't usually like milk in my tea, but even subbing in coffee creamer made this spicy tea absolutely amazing! I am definitely ordering this! MMMMM! I love it when a tea surprises me! This was a total surprise...thought I wouldn't like it. Love it!
1/23/2022 - Still a favorite! Yum!
1/29/2023 - Such a lovely tummy warming tea! I drink this plain with just a bit of stevia, or as a latte. It's wonderful both ways! So good!!

I brewed my CommuniTEA packet according to Elizabeth Rozenwig's brewing instructions. It made a comforting evening brew with lots of flavor and health bevefits!

In the bag: About ⅓ of my packet is chunky, yellow blocks which I presume is tumeric. Some scattered bits and strands of ginger and some fennel seeds have taken on tumeric's color. Several black peppercorns and three clove buds bring a dark accent to the bright color palette.

On the nose (pre-steep): The earthy, warm spice of tumeric is the first and main scent. The sweeter spices of cinnamon and fennel come in as supporting scents if I sniff in just the right way. A hint of clove, too.

On the nose (post-steep): We're left with just the tumeric. Her supporting spices have wandered off to other stalls in this Moroccan market. The intensity has been turned down as well.

On the tongue (pre-sweetener): Tumeric is still front and center. Peppercorn zings begin at mid-sip and linger through the aftertaste. Bare hint of clove.

On the tongue (post-sweetener): Sweetener has enticed cinnamon to rejoin our stall, but she's only halfway here. Peppercorn has left the main taste, but returns afterwards.

Opinion: A complex and intriguing blend that I enjoyed. Not something to quaff but instead to savor and contemplate. Those who like earthy, spicy teas should get a kick out of it.

Preparation: 7 min @ 212 ℉, ½ tsp monk fruit sweetener

I really enjoyed this spicy, peppery-flavored chai with a some rock sugar. I remembered to use my old stained tea maker because the turmeric leaves stains! I enjoyed every sip. I steeped at 212 degrees for 7 minutes.

I love this tea. I love chai in general, but I especially like this one. It's just a really lovely blend, but I can't put my finger on what exactly I like better about this one than Adagio's other chai blends. This is also the first time I've looked at all the many preparation methods other reviewers use, and I'm now very interested in trying each of them.

UPDATED from 1/23/22: I like raw turmeric, but slicing it into salads always stains my fingers orange. Glad I don’t have to handle it to make this tea. There is a strong spice aroma drifting up out of the CommuniTEA packet. All ingredients are covered in the orange turmeric powder, but they steep into a cloudy golden tea. What an unusual cast of characters. The flavor of turmeric is warmed with the cinnamon, ginger, and cloves. They all work together well, sharing the stage and putting on quite a show. The fennel and black peppercorn are backstage providing support, and don’t really make an appearance until at the end, into the clean finish. This well balanced tea tastes great plain! Adding some whipping cream does make it smoother. Also adding just ¼ teaspoon of sweetener (to 10 oz) makes it a sweeter delight. This tea warms my body and my spirit. My stomach growls with approval. I am only sad when the cup is empty. Luckily I have a bigger bag of this in my cupboard. (5 mins @ 212F + sweetener and/or cream).

Flavor is great, ingredients are so-so. Specifically the turmeric is just pebbles covered in turmeric. Other than that it’s good.

This is a wonderful chai blend, beautiful with steamed coconut milk and honey. The spices (ginger, turmeric, fennel, pepper) work as a digestive support, so you get not only a well-balanced cup of tea but also a nourishing treat. I love drinking Golden Turmeric Chai as a comforting afternoon beverage.

I purchased tea bags, I bring it to work in the morning! I really enjoy sipping it and turmeric is always a plus for health!!

Love this! A great spice blend and the turmeric is very present but not overwhelming. Admittedly I usually blend it with the Raja Oolong Chai (with even more spices!), but it adds a lot to my special blend. It's also good on its own of course and I would drink it if I wanted to avoid caffeine.

My absolute favorite! Amazing taste and is very healthy, perfect for when you're sick or just want to relax.
