This golden turmeric chai was very very good. I did put in a tad of half and half with this which made it a bit smoother.

This golden turmeric chai was very very good. I did put in a tad of half and half with this which made it a bit smoother.
If you like chai tea, you’ll love Golden Turmeric Chai. I prefer it strong with some honey. It’s a great afternoon tea.
I really liked this tea because the flavors were so so well blended and smooth. It wasn't too strong which I appreciated because turmeric can be very powerful in flavor.
This is a great way to make an approximation of golden milk without going through putting together all the spices yourself. Do far I’ve only ever brewed it with water and then added milk after steeping, but I would really like to try steeping it directly in milk. I always sweeten this with some honey, as I’m going for the golden milk vibe.
Nice blend of spice, it makes for a very warming cup. It's good with frothed milk as a turmeric chai latte!
Lovely relaxing tea. Looking forward to larger sizes being back in stock.
I make 4 oz of this at 4x concentration, then add it to nut milk or coconut milk with sugar. A nice caffeine-free alternative to hot cocoa. I do wish it had less pepper and cloves and a little more turmeric, it has a bit too much bite. I may just get in the habit of removing some of the cloves and peppercorns.
I did not like this tea. It's too savory for me and I did not enjoy either the taste or the smell. It's not the worst tea I've ever had, but I would not purchase it ever again.
I love this tea! It’s such a comforting and delightful tea with oat milk added in. I love it when it’s cold outside.
Not really knowing what turmeric tastes like, I needed to try it because I read about the effects on inflammation. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor punch it has.
I expected this to be more chai-forward and turmeric in the background. I drink this with a mix of masala chai so it is not so turmeric heavy. I enjoy a good turmeric oat milk latte, but this is unenjoyable for me, as I was expecting a strong chai.
This was a refreshing tea with a rich turmeric flavor. The turmeric completely overpowered any chai flavor, though.
Good tea but wish it had more flavor without using an absurd amount
I ended up ordering this in place of tumeric bliss because it was out of stock. It has a very strong earthy flavor much stronger than tumeric bliss. I do enjoy it in the winter but also do a light steep .
I was both nervous and excited to try this one. Beyond black, or chai, or an herbal blend, I'm not a sophisticated tea drinker. I bought this sample for it's health benefits. The brew yields a yellow liquid with smell of spice. After it cooled slightly, a tiny sip revealed it to be a bit strong for my taste, so I added a couple teaspoons of cream and drizzle of honey. That made for an enjoyable cup to warm up a winter weary body.
So warm and soothing, one of my morning favorites. Turmeric is beneficial for individuals seeking to reduce inflammation.
It’s a good Chai. I like the anti inflammatory turmeric addition.
The chai spices add some heat, aroma, and sweetness that lift turmeric’s earthiness into something aromatic and comforting. The addition of a cream/milk and sweetner or honey blends the spices and earthiness to a satisfying velvety, spiced, and a little exotic beverage.
It has a very strong tumeric and ginger flavor. I like the health benefits of the tea, and especially like that it's an herbal chai. Highly recommend
Now THIS is the bold turmeric blend i was seeking! Lots of flavor and spice and goes great with honey and soy milk for a golden milk latte.
I'm not a fan of chai tea. But this is exceptional.
Though it didn't have the oomph of a a masala chai, I liked the light chai flavor to this tea. The light gold color was also quite pretty.
Quite delicious and nutritious! I love a more savory chai blend. And the color - oh my!
This tea is golden- both in color and taste. It has a nice spicy chai aroma. The taste is heavy on the tumeric with the other spices nicely supporting it.
Wow, this was a delightful surprise. We were both hesitant on this one because we've had turmeric tea from other places and been unable to drink it. Right out of the packet this one smelled better than any of the previous we tried. We decided to brew this one in milk because we hadn't tried that for turmeric tea yet and knew it would further push it to our tastes. I simmered the tea in 8oz of 2% milk for just over ten minutes, then poured it into a cup with a tiny bit of coconut oil and about a 1/4 tsp of brown sugar. This was delicious! We would happily drink more. Finally, a way to make golden milk we actually like.
10+ mins @ 212°F (in milk)
A decent spicy Chai, with added health benefits for some... and sans caffeine for even more versatility.
I try to avoid added tumeric as I already take in a considerable amount, so this won't make my tea drawer as a regular.
Turmeric is not a favorite flavor of mine. This feeling might go doubly so in beverages. I was pleased that the turmeric was present, but your standard chai spices were much more bold. The ginger added a little bite while the peppercorns intensifies that flavor. The cinnamon was awesome and stayed throughout the cool down. I think I am really enjoying fennel seeds in many chai blends as I think for me it brought this one out of just ok territory into good. Drank with nothing added today. 212° 5 min
We tried this plain, and without any cream or sugar. The kids here were not a fan of this (18, 15, 9). We were expecting a stronger flavor but I liked it. I think with a little cream that it’s good! It would be good iced!
I never thought I would like turmeric in tea but here I am! The chai complements the turmeric well and neither are overpowering.
Nice- I love all chai really. Don’t like the taste of turmeric itself but don’t dislike it and it certainly made me feel ‘healthy’ for drinking it :)
CommuniTEA sample: 5 min @ 212 F. I wanted to like this one; I like chai, I love ginger, I like golden milk, I like the combination of turmeric and ginger, everything made me think I'd love this tea! It smelled great, it looked pretty, but I tasted it and it wasn't strong in any flavors. I got some turmeric, but not much else. Would have liked more ginger, peppercorns, something sweet - just felt it was missing a lot. I tried adding sugar but it didn't do much. It wasn't bad, just wasn't as strong as I would have liked it.
Cinnamon scent was present, and the taste was primarily cinnamon and tumeric. I was expecting a tea base like red rooibos and missed that depth of flavor. I enjoy tumeric but I wanted something stronger like more cinnamon or ginger.
I really enjoyed this tea! I could smell the cinnamon while it was brewing and loved the health benefits of turmeric in this tea blend.
This tea was amazing! I love turmeric in my tea so I knew I would like this. It’s was even better when I added oat milk to it.
Delicious, I love this tea, has a strong ginger flavor and I love to drink this at night.
Worth the price! I put some cream in the bottom of the cup before brewing to make a golden latte. So good and love the anti inflammatory benefits.
This is utterly delicious! I enjoy it more than the black chai tea or even the various rooibos chai tea.
This is a very well balanced flavor, but the turmeric is perhaps a little strong for my liking. Still an incredible cup of tea, but I have to be in the right mood for it. If spice is your thing, this is an excellent tea for that
One of our favorites for health. Im loving the chia tea.
This has been the perfect cup of tea all winter long. Whenever I've felt a bit under the weather, this tea has turned things around. The flavors create a pleasing, slightly spicy blend. I have ordered it twice, and the first batch was different (the spices were more grounded), but both have been delicious.
It's pretty good. I've only made it concentrated as a latte. It has some natural sweetness
This blend is not for the faint of heart. I very much liked it, I find the strong turmeric and cinnamon flavors comforting. I call it (affectionately) dirt tea. My one gripe resulting in a lost star-if you sweeten this tea, the fennel comes through much stronger than anything else. Maybe that's just my intense aversion to that flavor?
I had a sample of this and had to come back for a bigger bag I love it
I first steeped it for 5 minutes, but that didn't seem to be enough so I went for another 5. I added a touch of honey and a splash of milk. It was very weak. I tried again two more times, but I think this tea just isn't the right blend for me. I will not be repurchasing it.
I really enjoy the addition of turmeric here. Earthy, spicy and wonderful. This is a nice twist on chai.
I love the tumeric bliss, but this one is so good. It is good hot or cold. i gave some to a friend and she loves this tea.
I so wanted to love this tea, but it just was not what I wanted. The turmeric and spices tasted too savory to me, and I think that adding honey just would have confused the flavor, rather than helping it.
A wonderful balance of turmeric and chai! Love this tea with a splash of milk.
Now this chai is my favorite! I actually have the largest bag available in my cart to order. I do double the recommended portion to use and add 1 sweetner and a dash of milk. I am a huge fan of tumeric and this chai is a delightful blend. Highly recommend
A perfect blend of turmeric and Chai this has a sweet, soothing taste that is relaxing at the end of the day.
