One of my favorite blends. I love roobios and I love chai and the cinnamon adds some spice to the mix!

I really did not enjoy the tea, I threw it out after one sip, I'm sure people enjoy it but it is not for me

★★★★★

I love all of Adagios rooibos chias! Haven’t had a bad one yet, this one included,

Tried a sample and loved it so much, I had to buy more so my husband could share! Wonderful warm cinnamon flavor that doesn't overpower the other chai spices, and Rooibos is one of my favorite teas in any flavor. Will definitely keep this in stock in my overloaded tea selection.

It's good. I'm currently having it warm with some whole milk. The rooibos does give it a little bit different of a taste, and is more cinnamon than some other chai teas. I really like chai teas, and this might not be my utmost favorite, but it is one I'd go to if I'm wanting something a little bit different.

Yum! This tea is very flavorful and cinnamony! It's smell is reminiscent of the cinnamon potpourri pinecones you find at Christmas and tastes so comforting!

I love the warm, spicy flavors of the Cinnamon Rooibos Chai. It is like drinking Cinnamon candy. Delicious! Great for a cold winter night

Was nervous when I smelled it at first, but the flavors were remarkably well balanced.

I love this tea for a nightcap. The cinnamon is really strong, but it also gives it a nice tone of sweetness.

I try to avoid caffeine and am on the eternal quest to find the tastiest herbal tea. I use the velociTEA maker and have tried 1-2 tsp per cup and it's good, but not going to be my forever tea. My wife might like it a lot, but I can't seem to pry her daily coffee out of her hand long enough to get her to try it. :)

Cinnamon lovers rejoice, indeed! I open my CommuniTEA packet to the smell of well... cinnamon. Brew my cup to find the sweet fruity flavor of the apples pair with A LOT of cinnamon. Maybe I need another cup to process this one.

In the bag: Looks identical to the Adagio photo except no apple pieces.

On the nose (pre-steep): Strong scent of chai with cinnamon layered into the background. Intense. Slightly sweet.

On the nose (post-steep): Cinnamon has taken the lead with chai fading into the background. Not as sweet as pre-steep.

On the tongue (pre-sweetener): Mostly a rooibos flavor with a touch of cinnamon.

On the tongue (post-sweetener): Cinnamon is more intense and chai has crept into the aftertaste. Rooibos notes are nearly lost.

Opinion: Excellent tea for us chai and cinnamon lovers. Why not put them together in a caffeine-free version? The woodsy tone of rooibos seems a good base for these flavors, though I wouldn't mind tasting a honeybush version to see how it compares.

Preparation: First steep 5 min, second steep 10 min. Both @ 212 ℉. ½ teaspoon monk fruit sweetener.

Hot tamales and the red hots! For those that don’t like rooibos, there’s enough cinnamon in this to cover it up... but then you’d better LOVE cinnamon. It even took me a few sips to acclimate. I love cinnamon but that was A. LOT. The 2nd steep mellowed out a bit, but still had a great cinnamon candy zip.

Liking this more than I thought I would. It is a sugary sweet chai with only a slight bit of medicinal taste. Not sure I will take a chance on a full bag but will finish this cup.

I really enjoyed this tea. It was sweet and decaf, so a perfect dessert tea. Happy to get cinnamon but without the extra spices usually added to chai.

This is my kind of cinnamon! Strong aroma and flavor akin to Fiery Cinnamon Spice without the caffeine. 5 min @ 212, first steep was cinna-licious. 10 min @ 212 second steep was also cinna-licious. Cheers for lovers of all the cinnamon!

I like chai, cinnamon and rooibos and needed a decaf tea today so this is totally a 5 star review. It's a sweet spicy blend... Definitely heavy on the cinnamon but I love that!

Delicious cinnamon spice in a cuppa of tea. No, caffeine and rooibos are a good thing with spices. A must try if your a rooibos fan and make sure you add some adagio Bess honey to give the tea with a extra kick.

A yummy noncaffeinated cinnamon tea. Smooth even without sugar, but I don't get much of the chai notes.

A very cinnamon forward tea. I first steep I drank hot. All I tasted was cinnamon. I should have added some milk. The second steep I drank cold. I did add milk to this one and it was very good. The cinnamon covers up the rooibos taste so I liked it.

The packet smelled like atomic fireballs candy. It tasted the same. I mellowed out the hot cinnamon flavor by making a latte. My sister tried it and liked it but i usually stay clear of hot cinnamon. Its not my favorite flavor profile. The good thing about Spicy cinnamon, you wont taste the red rooibos. I sampled this tea as part of the Community May 2021 box.
2023 update giving to my sister as I do not like spicy atomic fireball cinnamon.

Pleasantly surprised. I am not typically a fan of rooibos teas, but this was quite nice. The cinnamon was not overwhelming and blended well with the other flavors. For a chai, it was relatively muted compared to many others I drink. I start my day with fiery cinnamon or similar, and I could definitely see ending it with the cinnamon chai.

UPDATE 11/14/23: I still really like this tea. In fact, I love it. It would easily make my top five Adagio teas. But, I still think the name is a misnomer, so it still only gets four stars.

To be fair, I really like this tea. I will need to remember to buy some next fall. BUT, this is not a chai, not in my opinion at least. A chai ought to have a more complex blend of spices. This tea is just cinnamon, plain and simple. There's nothing wrong with that - I love it. It's just inaccurately named, hence the four star rating.

Cinnamon dominates this cup. The aroma of both the dried leaves and the brewed tea is distinctly cinnamon. As expected, the tea tastes much the same with hints of apple peeking through every now and then. Sweetener is not necessary, but a touch of honey made this fun to drink. A second steep produces a less powerful cinnamon kick flavor-wise but still has a fairly potent cinnamon aroma. The apple comes forward a little more the second time round. A tiny splash of milk is a nice touch, but again, completely unnecessary. Though I wouldn’t consider this tea “spicy” in the sense that it leaves my mouth burning, it certainly delivers a powerful punch of cinnamon spice, which makes for a nice warming cup on a chilly day/evening.

Used about 2 teaspoons with about 8 oz of water, seeped for 7 minutes. First out of the packet, I was skeptical about liking this one. But it reminds me so much of Celestial Seasonings Bengal Spice. Lots of cinnamon with a little sweet. The rooibos was a little strong for me to love it.

This was like eating cinnamon powder. Not a fan of cinnamon tea. If you like cinnamon this may be for you.

This is a VERY cinnamon-forward chai. A little more akin to red-hots than baking cinnamon. Rooibos seems like a good base to hold up to all the spice, but then again I like red rooibos in general. It might be a little too spice-heavy for my everyday preferences, but it's still a nice tea. I think it definitely needs milk or cream to tame that cinnamon, though.

Another well balanced rooibos, this was sweet and cinnamonny. I enjoyed the flavors very much, but couldn't detect any chai qualities.

Wow! This is a sweeter, decaf/rooibos version of Fiery Cinnamon Spice tea. The cinnamon completely masks the wet cardboard scent and flavor of the rooibos. It's not a 'hot' cinnamon, but just a very intense flavor. Surprisingly, I really liked it!

If it weren't for the color red in my cup, I wouldn't know this was rooibos. The cinnamon flavor is huge! It reminds me of Dentyne chewing gum. It starts out intense and then mellows down ever so slightly. I didn't taste apples, nor did I want to. It's all about the spice. I'm not a red rooibos lover, by any means, but this one is fantastic.
