I really was surprised by the flavor - it was mild, but slightly sweet and flavorful.
Smooth, rich and comforting. Our Chocolate Pu Erh Chai hits all the marks for the perfect afternoon treat.

I really was surprised by the flavor - it was mild, but slightly sweet and flavorful.
Ok. Just not as chocolate flavored as I would have prefered.
I didn't love this. One of my favorites is the chorange pu-erh. I feel like this one might have too much spice and not enough actual tea in it for my liking. I might try it blended with something else.
Not a bad tea. This is more of a personal preference rather than a testament to the quality of the tea. The quality is great, just not a personal favorite as far as flavor.
Smooth and rich flavored pu'erh that is good for a couple steeps. The chai spice is cinnamon forward and complements the chocolate well. It reminds me a bit of Mexican hot chocolate in flavor.
Just ok. I probably won't purchase this one again.
I love the taste of the coco bits while i'm sipping on my relaxing tea.
Easy to drink, well balanced chocolate and spice flavors on top of earthy Pu Erh tea. I will definitely reorder this one.
This was surprising in several ways: First, that the pu-erh is understated, or at least masked by the other flavors, and turned out a lighter and drier than finish I'd expected. Second, that is A Lot of cinnamon. It wears down a little on resteeps but the ginger on its heels is extraordinarily persistent. I'd anticipated something more akin to the chocolate chai (smooth, dark liquid chocolate) than this brighter, punchier version, but the result is still quite good.
To get a “good” tasting cup, you have to way, way, way over caffeinate the cup of tea.
Amazing chai and chocolate flavor. My new fave! Sweet and spicy...a perfect treat. Brewed per instructions on package.
Way too much cinnamon flavour, overtakes all other flavours
Yum, yum, yum. What else is there to say to every chocolate lover out there? Yum!
I wish this tea was caffeine-free, because it is so smooth and rich, with such a lovely depth of spicy chocolate flavor. I'd love to be able to drink it as my nightly wind-down beverage.
There’s a café in my city right beside where I work that sells an amazing chocolate chai- hot or iced. I’ve been trying so hard to find something close to it (went as far as using a scoop of chocolate ice cream in a cup!) to get that flavor without breaking my wallet all the time.
I saw this tea and decided to give it a try, and I feel like I’ll never have to buy a chocolate chai again!! This tea is the perfect balance of both chocolate and chai, but I added a teaspoon of sugar and used chocolate soy milk in mine for the extra sweetness. I like this Pu Erh for the lower level of caffeine because of my constant anxiety levels. I still have yet to try to regular Chocolate Chai, but it is on my wishlist! Trust me, it will change your life!!
A little too spicy for me, good flavor, just a little too much in my opinion :)
Anything with chocolate in it is loved by my kiddos!
A really good and mellow chai. The chocolate flavoring does not overpower the chai and it s just really good.
Smoother chocolate tea which I enjoyed. This is also great as a blend with almost everything.
These pu erh teas are just not for me. Too intense.
Wow I! This is like spicy hot cocoa without the sugar! I added just a splash of whole milk. The chocolate isn’t overpowering, but it all blends very nicely. I also only used one teaspoon per cup instead of two and it is plenty strong for my tastes.
Okay, but way too much ginger for my taste! If you're a ginger fan, go for it.
This was my first pu erh tea and I was surprised it had delicious notes of chocolate and a slight fruitness.
Such a delightful, unexpected taste. Will purchase again.
My new favorite tea, it brought a a nice smooth pu-erh flavor but with a faint chai spice and a wonderful chocolate aftertaste. The aroma was absolutely delightful and will definitely keep enjoying. Strongly recommend to anyone who is a chocaholic like myself.
So good! I don't add any sugar to my teas. I usually just drink as is and this tea is so incredibly chocolatey and comforting. Delish!
This was really great mixed with the fiery cinnamon or by itself!
Definitely has the cinnamon of a chai with a chocolatey taste
I really like this tea. good chocolate undertones and that wonderful fullness of Pu Erh tea. I wish it had a little more chai flavor, but other than that it is great.
Not as much flavor as I was expecting but still good.
This is the best Chai tea I've ever had. It tastes so much like chocolate. I highly recommend it for people who love spicy and chocolately teas!
This is such a tasty tea! It's a perfect fall, after dinner treat!
I was really delighted that I liked this tea, which was my first foray into Pu Erh (chocolate and chai seemed a pretty safe bet). It had a smooth, rich taste that I'm sure would be enhanced with the addition of milk. Its aroma is just like a first-rate hot cocoa, sweet and decadent. I will definitely be drinking plenty during the Christmas season and beyond!
The spice of chai, the sweet of chocolate, the smooth of pu-erh. Wow. Also this doesn't have as strong of the pu-erh fishy smell, so this may make a good first pu-erh experience.
Taste really musty to me. Not really a flavor I enjoy
I was hoping after the Pu-erh Chorange (which I am surprised at how much I like and it continues to grow on me) that I would really like this. The chocolate taste is subtle, and chai blend is ginger-heavy. It was just ok for me.
Very nice! I think this one is smoother and less bitter than the black tea variant. Add honey for best flavor.
What can go wrong with a tea that contains chocolate and chai ingredients - nothing! For those who like a chai tea, this is a very rewarding one.
Beautiful dark brew. Delicious lightly sweetened with a small amount of milk.
Very good the first cup but was not good when reused for another cup. Has a very earthy flavor along with the chocolate. Could not taste chocolate at all on reuse.
This tea is amazing. It smells wonderful and has a slightly spicy chocolate taste.
So delicious and chocolaty. I ve been craving chocolate Chai all season and this is perfect.
this is going to be a staple! a great winter tea!
This tea certainly is interesting, but I really enjoy it. Nice, bold flavors
Not a fan. It tasted sour to me...I First tried it with no milk no sugar. Second time a bit of sugar. Third time milk and sugar. Most sour taste was with the added milk and sugar.
I’m so happy Adagio let’s you buys samples!!!
I don t usually like Chais but this one was quite pleasant, maybe since it s a blend. The Pu Erh flavors don t come through as much as I would like but overall a good tea.
I found this tea very enjoyable. It’s not overly spicy or earthy. I do wish I could taste more of the chocolate though.
Shipping to Canada is HORRIBLY long with little updates and tracking info tea is good tho.
I taste the chocolate but there is also something there that is giving this blend a silky, robust flavor. Perhaps it’s the Pu Erh? I don’t know, since I’ve never tried a pu erh tea before. There’s an underlying light musky scent that some may find off putting, but you’ll only notice if you inhale deeply. This is a delicious chai blend that works well hot and unsweetened and hot with milk.
I brewed this using the royal tea method to make an amazing latte for me and my family. I can't recommend it enough.
