This tea is a blend of the brighter flavors of Christmas--orange and the cinnamon and cloves of the Christmas tea--along with the darker, quieter flavor of chocolate.

This tea is for my mother this Chrismas.
My favorite fellow tea-drinker is my mother. Her quiet and thoughtful company is always the perfect complement to a reflective cup of tea, and the miles that separate us make the cups we are able to share together that much more special.
My mother and I also share a love of literature and easily slip away inside of books that celebrate the loveliness of life without ignoring the natural pains of it. This year she and I discovered The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, and (as Anne of Green Gables inspired our trip to PEI several years ago), we have since started dreaming about a future trip to Guernsey.
Such a trip is not in the cards for the very near future, so until then we'll have to keep ourselves happy with the dreams we weave over a well-suited cup of tea.
