Description

Get swept away to paradise with this wonderful blend of White tea from Cthe Fujan region of China tea and the flavor of coconuts and pineapple. Even on a dreary, cold day you can be transported to a sunny beach by enjoying this unique blend hot or iced. Don't forget your sunblock!

Story

The first encounter between a European and a pineapple occurred in 1493, during Christopher Columbus' second voyage to the Caribbean. Lowering his anchor off the volcanic island of Guadaloupe, Columbus and crew went ashore to inspect a deserted Carib village. Amidst the jungle foliage and wooden pillars, they came upon cook pots filled with human body parts. Nearby were piles of freshly gathered vegetables and fruits, including pineapples. Columbus passed on the exotic meat. But ate the pineapple.

"A great refreshing tea that just reminds you of sitting on a beach soaking in the sun. But it is definitely important to get the temp correct on this one or the tropical flavor is greatly diminished."

"First off, I'm a tea novice. White's are obviously lighter than greens or blacks. I tried the white flavors sampler along the white tropics. I vastly prefered the white tropics versus anything else in the sampler. I imagine it has to do with the fact that there's just more flavor in it. So, if that's what you're looking for, this is the way to go. Fruity and smooth."

"This one doesn't small at all like what I'd have expected, but it smells -- and tastes -- delicious. Much more... enthusiastically low-key, maybe? I'm not really sure how to describe it. I recommend shelling out a couple of bucks and checking otu a sample tin of it. I keep meaning to chill it by itself, but I end up drinking the "test" cups first."
