Mother Mary Teresa Bojaxhiu, honored in the Catholic Church as Saint Teresa of Kolcata, was born into privilege, but left that life to become a nun and missionary taking a vow of chastity, poverty and obedience. She ended up in India, where she lived for most of her life tending to the poor, the sick and the dying, and a new vow to give "wholehearted free service to the poorest of the poor." She is an inspiration with her service to others. She reminds us all that "Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love." This is a signature blend created by Valerie Farschman as part of her "Powerful Women Tea."
"Powerful Women" are the influential and strong women that have had a major impact on me and/or the world. Some are real life heroes, while others are fictional protagonists or villains.
