The Ceylon Sonata black tea was chosen for it's smoothness, and ability to blend well with the green tea and light flavors I added with the Vanilla Green and a hint of Almond.

There was a Tazo blend of tea for Christmas a few years ago that combined black and green tea, both of which I love on their own, but which made a wonderful flavor when blended together. I couldn't get enough, but unfortunately, it was a limited time offering. This blend is inspired by that, with an emphasis on smooth flavor, with a light nutty, vanilla flavor that makes it good any time of day.
