I use all three teas for their strong caffine.
I use irish breakfast for the smooth but strong black tea flavor.
The gunpowder as well for the strong flavor and the toasted mate gives the tea a smoother taste with a bake good feel.
High caffeine | Steep at 195° for 3 mins

My husband and I got really tired of coffee and Im sure we are not the only ones. So we switched to tea and our bodies and minds feel so much better. But we still need/wanted that strong caffine in the morning with a strong taste.
We brew the tea in a big ball in the kettle. Get it boiling. Turn off the heat then let it steep. We drink it through out the morning and afternoon.
We also sometimes add other flavors to the blend like the cream tea or the rooibos jasmine.
Milk or cream with a bit of sugar ties it all in for us.
