Tall, auburn, and the only man to arrive in uniform to the Continental Congress, George Washington looked the part of an American leader. A gloriously level-headed and loyal commander, it’s no wonder the Americans put him in charge. Legend says he chopped down a cherry tree as a child, but could not conceal the truth in his honest temperament. His tea is a balance of bold but floral ceylon sonata, cool and smooth almond black, and a gentle cherry sweetness, and marigold flowers for style.
