The lady of shadows, does she look two faced to you Gunslinger? -Stephen King, Drawing of the Three One of the most complex characters in this story, Susannah is probably one of the strongest female characters in any story I have read thus far. Crippled from a horrible accident, and struggled with her inner duplicity, she is forced to carry on or be left behind in history. I admire her quite a bit. I chose the blends I have due to the light and dark in war within her, the rich spice of the darkness in her conveyed through the chocolate chai, and the gentle almost maternal nature her lighter side has conveyed through the vanilla oolong. Detta and Odetta, mixing together to make the complex but strong woman that is Susannah. I also added lavender, because even with everything she goes through, she still has a tender heart, and I dont know..lavender reminds me of a kind heart.
