Summer is abound and to commemorate the picturesque images of the freedom season I've put together this tea. I set it up with a base of white tea for its light, airy quality. Picture now, a country home with a clothesline in the backyard, and children weaving in and out of the hanging garments chasing each other in play. They disembark from the clothing and run into a field of yellow flowers - chamomile and the tall blades of lemongrass tickle their ankles as the run down to the creek to jump in and cool off. After expending their seemingly endless amounts of energy they walk to the forest to collect wild blueberries both to eat now, and to put in their cereal in the morning to start another endless summer day off right. As they enjoy their pickings, they can smell summer on the breeze: lemony cotton, with a hint of blueberries. Aren't these the ideal images of a carefree summer? I think so. And thats what I had in mind for this tea. I hope you enjoy.
