I created this tea as a low-caffeine antioxidant-rich blend. Chamomile is listed by the National Library of Medicine to have over 100 traditional uses. In addition, white tea has the most antioxidants of any other type of tea along with the already well-known benefits of the antioxidants in green tea - those antioxidants being anti-carcinogenic, anti-mutagenic, and anti-inflammatory. They also slow down the breakdown of elastin and collagen which prevents wrinkles and sagging. Finally, the pomegranate component helps reduce heart disease, atherosclerosis, and other cardiovascular diseases. There are some studies that even say that pomegranate can help reduce the risk of breast cancer.

I decided to create this blend when, unsatisfied with the selection of blends I had, picked out components and put them together. I put together chamomile, white, and green teas and it made a delicious pale-yellow cup of tea. In my mind when I started drinking the yellow concoction, I could only call it an elixir due to not only its color, but its apparent health benefits.
