Decaf Blueberry tea with sweet blueberries. Decaffeinated using a natural CO-2 process, that allows leaves to retain their delicate shape and flavor.

Story

The blueberry is one of the few fruits native to North America. Blueberry was an important crop to the early Pilgrims, who learned about its cultivation from the Native Americans. A beverage made with blueberries was an important staple for Civil War Soldiers. Now, studies have found that blueberries rank #1 in antioxidant activity when compared to 40 other fresh fruits and vegetables. Antioxidants help neutralize harmful by-products of metabolism called "free radicals" that can lead to cancer and other age related diseases.

"I love anything blueberry and this definitely smells and tastes like blueberry. Don't steep it too long or it's a bit overpowering (but, hey, all of those antioxidants are good for you). "

"The regular blueberry tea is quite tasty, but the decaf version has a harsher mouthfeel that I don't care for. I mixed my sample with the regular version to get a half-caf version that was much better."
